3 things to note here: 1, that's quite the run. Never expected this type of lore building to be seen again, and the different stages of the music depending on the music sheets itself is a nice touch. 2, the game of statues... I'm afraid of what will happen if you move, because... 3, no sudden jumpscares so far and I love it. Keep up the work, can't wait to see what you can cook up next. As for the ending card... 😢 Beautiful.....
just how many forces are living in Iggy's Castle?! I mean, the Shopkeeper, the Face, now the Sister... You have taken a Super Mario World level and given it the Silent Hill treatment.
Finally, a good ending. I watched a walkthrough that only gave five endings, and I was unsatisfied with the good endings (demon "defeated", demon pacified), so seeing an ending where your actions actively defeat AND pacify the evil forces taking over Iggy's castle was very appreciated. Love this ROM hack, even though I'll never play it cuz im too easily spooked 😅, but I just might, in search of endings and secrets!
Was meaning to ask, how do you access this? I have the latest patch downloaded and my castle layout isn't the same, there is no floating door. Do you need to get another ending or something specific? Btw I had a great time playing through the mod
You probably downloaded the previous version (which has been accepted) instead of the new version (which is still being moderated). Refer to the link in the description, which is pointing to the new version.
@@WakanaMizuho Theory time: The Sister. Could she be either: a) the Shopkeeper in disguise? b) another entity completely separate from the Shopkeeper? And also, the Sister's way of speaking sounds like broken versions of Old and Modern English.
That "musician"...
... has got to be the evil shopkeeper in disguise. The hidden music scores play "his" theme.
...or her true form.
@@Unknown-jk7rs ...or ends up possessed by the shopkeeper/entity just as Zombie-Mario returns the third and final music score to her.
@@movinitlikedat45 yeah who knows.

Amazing work as always, well done!
Might ask about you uploading her compositions.

this ending's final boss evokes Master Hand vibes...
That's because the hand sprite she uses is a recolored Master Hand sprite from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.
Mario recovers his soul after defeat the sister?
If I'm honest, I believed that "the sister" was Mario's relative. I do not know why.
idk... Mario wouldn't have the Sister's kind of "ye olde" dialect in his speech.
also the Sister could do without THAT around her neck.

What is the boss music here?
It sounds familiar.
It's M.R. from Rabi Ribi
@@WakanaMizuho That explains why it sounds familiar. Thanks.

15:47 music name?
I've been asking that, too.
