Greetings from Finland. I like listening to Buddhist teaching (dharma). Some people call it Zen. It is very relaxing to me. First I listened to Thic Nhat Hanh (Vietnam). I am a Christian by identity (Finnish Lutheran). Siddharta Gautama (Buddha) was a king in India. It depends where Buddha originates from, depending of whom you ask. Some people say Buddha was from Nepal. In ancient times, kings were practicing wisdom. Siddharta Gautama (Buddha) shares some resemblance with the old Jewish King Solomon. He was very wise and rich. King Solomon ruled in ancient Israel according to Christian tradition. In Siddharta Gautamas time (600 BCE), kings were commonly competing in wisdom. Buddhism is 600 years older than Christianity. Peace.
