Great seeing you up in the air again! :) I had the same aircraft from PQQ to SYD a few weeks ago.
Oh nice! I have also flown up from Sydney to Port Macquarie on the same aircraft. I hope to get back to Port Macquarie again some time
Hey Paul can u do more fiji to plz
@@rainboiotal4365 hey mate, other than the four flights and vlogs I’ve done, I wont be back to Fiji until borders are open 😔
I've recently done Adelaide - Port Lincoln on a similar aircraft type. Same flight length. I love this aircraft!
Yeah I love these Dash 8's. It is a totally different flying experience than flying in the big jets!
After a long long time! Was waiting for new video since subscribed hehe! Great one!
Yay, thank you!
YAY! Your back! Great video!
Yes I am! Thanks for watching
Btw when u do make those fiji vids make 6 vids also I have been watching for two years love u man u and Stefan drury are my favourite Australian RUclipsrs.
I have to wait until the Australian Government allows me to leave the country before I can book any flights to Fiji
Yes ur back!
Nice review! Love ur vids!
Hey, thanks! Glad you like the videos! I sure hope I can post more soon
Nice one! When the aircraft touched down and pitched up, I thought you guys were going to have a go around😂
Hopefully lockdown will soon end at the Northern beaches and borders will once again reopen to Greater Sydney!! Worst time of the year to have this mess!!!
I got out of Sydney at the right time. I flew up to Gold Coast last week and have 2 weeks in Queensland now. Not sure if I can get back to Sydney but not so concerned right now ;)
@@NowGetThere haha entering NSW wouldn't be a problem I guess, getting onto a flight could be😂
@@JaydenWong i was at Brisbane airport this morning and most flights to Sydney were cancelled. Lucky I was flying north to Cairns
Great flight👍👍👍👍🍻
Thank you
FUN FACT: Did you know the thing you drop your bag off (the conveyor) has an XBOX Kinect! I don’t know if this is only at Sydney or if it’s at a lot of the Qantas terminals across Australia (or internationally)! You might recognise it near the screen.
Interesting fact! But what do they use the XBOX Kinect for. Is it the piece that scans your tag?
@@NowGetThere I’m pretty sure...
Nice video, reminds me of the great time in the air while i am stuck in Brisbane. Just don't want to travel right now. sorry that I am late on the video tho!
Yeah it sure was nice to get back in the air. I hope to do more flights in December
@@NowGetThere Me too, but so far I haven't booked any.
Nice vid btw
Thank you
Do more fiji videos plz I love them
Yep when Australia international border opens Fiji will be one of the first places i travel to
Alcoholic drinks are also complimentary on evening flights
I am not sure if they are serving alcohol on these short flights at night. They used to but not sure now.
@@NowGetThere They did, when I flew Qantas QF2065 from Ballina (BNK) to Sydney (SYD) on 2/10/2020
@@isaacfung622 nice one. I hope to get up to Ballina soon
Wow! You don’t have to wear a mask at the airport and in the plane?
Zthank you for sharing your video with us.
You don't need to wear a mask in the airport but you do have to wear a mask on the plane. They hand out masks when you board the plane. I had my own mask, the blue mask which was tucked under my chin while drinking my coffee.
You can take the mask off to eat and drink.
@@NowGetThere - the funny thing is that so many airlines are talking about the HEPA filter.
@@60frederick I guess those filters stop viruses spreading through the entire cabin but doesn't help if you are sitting next to someone coughing and sneezing
@@NowGetThere - I think that this person should not be allowed to fly.
@@60frederick Yep if people are sick they should stay at home. Trouble is people can be infected with no symptoms so a tough one.
Did this plane have more or less turbulence than a normal jet plane?
A bit more turbulence as it is much smaller than your normal jet plane
Isn't the Q300 a 50 seater ?
48 Passenger seats on this Qantas plane. Other airlines may have a different configuration with more seats
ah sorry you are right. it is 50 seats. I looked at the seat map and saw 12 rows of 2x2 but then saw there are 2 seats up the front marked for passenger seats, so you are correct, 50 seater
