‼️ ‼️ UPDATE on the case : as of 18 Aug 2024, Jess is now released from prison, on parole. After serving 8 years in jail. She's being seen fit to be back to society, because she showed good behaviour during her jail time. Her lawyer succeeded in pointing out there were so many oddities in the investigation. There were not enough sufficient evidences to prove Mirna's demise was from poisoning, or even if it is, there were no solid proof it was Jess' doing.
The Indonesians are basically divided. Many still think Jess is definitely guilty, and doesn't deserved to be released. But on the other hand, many also believe Jess is innocent; and she was like sacrificed for the sake of the top brass job promotion.

In case the international crowd doesnt know, police in Indonesia is totally different from the western world.
You have to pay the police to investigate the crime even if you are the victim. Police will not entertain you if you dont pay them and police will threaten the victim for payment. This can be easily argued as conflict of interest in the investigating party. Police work for money not for justice.
The key evidence of this case is the coffee. In the US, it is easily arguable that the key evidence is mishandled (multiple people touching the coffee after the incident) and yet this is not considered by the judge (NOT jury).
Lastly, in Indonesia, they dont adhere to the innocent until proven guilty or guilty only if proven without a doubt.
Therefore, all my above points cause a division in public opinion.
Dont believe everything you hear from the Indonesian police...

The Head of the Chemistry and Biology Division of the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency's Laboratory and Information Center said that the reaction to cyanide in humans is that they feel itchy and hot if they come into contact with the skin. "The only thing that can remove it is acid and base. It could also be due to hot temperatures," said Samran when giving testimony in Kartika Room I, Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday.
He said that the chemical reaction that occurs when cyanide is exposed to heat is that the HCN particles contained in it will be released in gas form or evaporate. Meanwhile, in the human body, the HCN content is easily released when it enters the stomach because of the presence of hydrochloric acid.

This case is weird AF. She acted very sus but all facts are in her favor. Doctor said a corpse who died from cyanide should have had a cherry-colored face, but instead the corpse's face was blue. But days later the authorities received a photo the of the corpse with a cherry-colored face. The reports said Mirna was autopsied, but doctor said they've never done that, they just took samples from the corpse and didn't find anything that indicates she was poisoned by a cyanide. And the expert said if the coffee indeed have that many amounts of cyanide then the people around that coffee should've gone unconcious. They can't counter the statements from the australian doctor so they find a way to deport the doctor back to australia and they got them deported. While Jessica was in jail she was interviewed and said something that got the interviews stopped by a police officer, and after that she can never have an interviews ever again. WTF was that? even a terrorist in that prison can still have an interviews.

the restaurant owner was never summoned to trial, despite it being their CCTV footage being presented at court. In fact, there was almost intentional effort to make people forget about the restaurant owners.
Jessica's maid was also never summoned to trial, despite being the only witness to the 'thrown away pants'
The court room was always full of people livid with 'cries for justice for mirna', turns out those people were actually Mirna's dad's employees, ordered to do so by him.
And as thanks for their assist? Mirna's dad didn't pay their salaries, and eventually fired them without severance pay, and their attempts to sue got blocked by Police, who blatantly say 'it's useless to sue, Mirna's dad is friends with Indonesian Police Head Chief."
Way way too many more points that make this case and the verdict utterly suspect.

Jealousy is such an ugly feeling. I used to have a friend who always compared herself to me. She slept with a guy I was seeing and got with my ex a week after we split. When I asked why, she said it was the only way to get on up on me after I was always 'better' in every other regard (not my words, I thought she was smart and pretty in her own right). That was the end of the friendship and it fucked me up good for a long time to be betrayed like this. I would absolutely think she'd retaliate if we were in a similar constellation to Mirna and Jessica. It's sad you've gotta be this careful about who your friends are.

    • @destinyweaver5656
      @destinyweaver5656 Год назад +26

This happened to me too...and I'm still healing from it today. I don't have that many friends anymore and I only trust a few... but my "best friend" brought me to a very public cafe, friend dumped, told me how I was such a negative terrible person (I had just gotten out of the hospital a week prior for a suicide attempt), how she didn't want me in her life, etc... but oh my ex, he's so positive that's the type of person she wants in her life. And she also told me she kissed him at a party we both attended, and she slept over at my house that very same night. My ex had also kissed me at this party and I was feeling delusional and hopeful, and so I tell her this in the morning and she goes, you didn't kiss him, that's false... And I said how would you know, you weren't there. She then proceeded to TEXT my ex to clarify the situation...she said oh he didn't mean it, he doesn't want you to get the wrong idea...So when she confronted me at the cafe, she said like oh remember that party, and how I didn't believe you? Oh well that's because he kissed me too. She did this knowing I had still had feelings for him and after being my friend for 6 years.` I was so upset in the moment all I could think about was throwing my hot beverage at her, but I didn't. I got up and walked out, she ran behind me saying it wasn't her fault, that he kissed her etc. And I just said you should have never put yourself in that position.
And so I learned that sometimes in friendships you can become blind to the person's true intention. If you idealize and idolize your friend, you hold them up on a pedestal, so you think there's no way this person would ever betray me? You think so highly of them that them doing something wrong is unfathomable. I loved this girl more than anything and I called her my soul sister... Reflecting back on our friendship I realized how toxic and bitter she had always been, how this was repeat behavior, she had done this to her old friends, her unresolved daddy issues, her constant need to be the center of attention, the way she would talk about her friends/people behind their backs... It was so clearly there the whole time I just couldn't see it.

Well might be similar to your case too but I also had a friend who acted to close to me when she wasn't actually "Happy" or "Close" when she's alone with me. I was being left behind every single time she hangs out with other people knowing that she was my "only" friend. Regardless i was able to find different set of people but her thing to use other people as much as she wants (to get me to do her projects and write all the things for her) wasn't easy to prevent... There was also one time where she was also tryna compete with me instead of supporting me completely.
People who would compare themselves to you aren't gonna be the one who'll support you and make you grow, they're gonna tear you down every single time they can. People who always use you to get things they wanted to get, act closely to you whenever they need something aren't real friends.
It's really hard to find real people and I would admit, it's getting pretty lonely not being able to feel that someone is not plastic towards you.
All I can say is that at the beginning its painful to get rid of them but when you start healing and realizing what the fork happened... You are gonna be free from all the pain and you'll think to yourself... "I'm so stupid for valuing the wrong person and I won't be caught up by them again"
again its better to be lonely that to live with someone who makes you feel alone

The length of the sentence should depend on other circumstances such as what was the motive and if the mind of the preperator was clear at that moment. If you have fever and you spontanously kill someone because he has threatend you this will give a shorter sentence than if you plan something in advance and for a more heinous motive. 20 years is just too ridiculous. The death penalty would’ve been pointless, since she attempted to off herself many times in the past. Life in prison would’ve been perfect for Jessica, and it would have suited her well.
On another note- I love Stephanie’s crime stories. She has a knack at revealing these horrendous realities that happen throughout the world without leaving us traumatized and plagued by countless nightmares. hi stephanie and viewers alike! i returned to this vid after i watched the netflix documentary. i’m an indonesian who followed this case in real time as i was laying weak hospitalized, so i could recall some of the abnormalities.
the netflix documentary “Ice Cold” is about this case. while over the years people have been telling stories from mirna’s family’s side, we indonesians never really got to know what it was like from the “other” sides.
there are not only satirical scenes (like highlighting how public sees this as entertainment, even having a crush on a prosecutor), it also had some “hints” in the documentary, very very slyly put in the show. some experts (even professors in my uni) used to say “it’s weird how this is so big. there must be… there must be someone.”
they kept hinting at people working in the shadows for a motive greater than what we can comprehend. some indonesians already figured out the “hints”, the authority who handled this case, and now it’s even more devastating because it’s not as black and white as previously.
the main key here is the prosecutors saying “if J is innocent, then it’s over for our image.”
    and the last line saying
Indonesia needs to have justice system reformation, because anybody can be sitting on the hot seat for something as confusing as this.
without decreasing my respect for the deceased (i know she was a bright person with bright future), i truly think the court needs to bring this case up to light again.
it was a shame that the husband and hanie weren’t interviewed though, nor did we get an info on how J behaved with fellow prisoners. For the former, i think they just simply weren’t ready to talk about this case again, esp when it’s been almost a decade ever since then. I hope whoever got hurt by this case would heal.

Hi an Australian here 👋🏼 I just wanted to say that it is very common and culturally acceptable/kinda expected to say “I love you” to really close friends. We are a very expressive country so I don’t doubt that they may have adopted this on their time abroad. Also there is a popular saying that goes “I’m so happy I could kiss you”, don’t know if that is what was meant, but it’s definitely something I’ve heard alot growing up around friends/family

    • @MELmo_21
      @MELmo_21 Год назад +15

I was looking to see if someone from Australia explained this! I’m American and I also interpreted it as most likely “I’m so happy I could kiss you” usually there’s an eek or ahh before and written definitely makes it look a little weird. Depending on where you’re from in the US saying “love you” is also common, usually when saying goodbye though. I don’t usually hear the “I” added unless it’s a loved one, but “love you” is thrown around all the time platonically. It definitely seems to not only be a cultural thing, but linguistically it doesn’t exactly translate. Especially not when inflection of a language is interpreted differently. Do you find that “curse” words are sometimes used almost friendly? Since some of the Australian expressions are interpreted similarly, I’m curious! It definitely also depends on who you’re talking to haha I wouldn’t say “love you bitch/asshole” to my parents, but would to my siblings or close friends and occasionally when my dog is a dickhead, I playfully say it haha.

I'm 18 minutes into the video, and their friendship sounds exactly like my relationship with my former best friend. The similarities are actually kind of scary. And, I have to admit, I was the Jessica in the situation. It's just hard when you're close for a long time (we were friends from HS, then went to college together, and remained friends for years after that), and then one person is engaged and doing well and the other is struggling. We were best friends, inseparable, for at least a decade, and I wasn't invited to her wedding. I mean, that's a big deal. Once she started dating the man that is now her husband, she kind of tossed me aside. I had my struggles and I think my life was too "messy" for her to deal with. On the rare occasion when she could make time for me, she was always with him. Literally...Every single time. Eventually, I realized that the friendship was over.
But it's just like you said, we thought we'd be besties forever and raise our kids together, and then our life paths just went in different directions. Sometimes that happens and it sucks but you have to learn to move on. And you should know that it's a pretty common thing. I'm thinking how creepy it is that our stories are similar, but there are probably other people who have been through the same thing. Friends grow apart, and you both may end up very hurt and angry, but you don't kill each other! My God! We haven't spoken in years and I'm still hurt by the situation, but I wish her nothing but the best. At one point we did meet up for coffee to try to work things out, but no poison was involved. We ended up getting into an argument and said some mean things to each other, but at no point did I think, "I'm going to murder her." We just stopped speaking.
I can't even imagine what was going through Jessica's mind. Talk about unhinged. 😳

I think the fact that they were away from home might have played a role. It’s a common occurrence for friends or couples to become extremely attached bc students have no family around, myself included. I understand it very well. I never did any of those things, but I understand the desire to do things like that out of sheer frustration of things out of your control.
I had to stay in the same room with my best friend while she and her boyfriend made out on the bed next to me. I should be thankful I never felt the murderous intent, I just wanted her to be happy since I've all but given up on any sort of romantic relationship with her.

so many points in this video are totally wrong based on the evidence presented in trials:
    1. Jessica is not the one who invited to meet up, nor is she the who presented the idea to meet up at Olivier. Mirna was the one who setup a group WA chat for meetup and the one who suggested to meetup at Olivier was her friend.
    2. She did not offer to pay for drinks. she was ASKING what their friends want to order. Mirna replied that she likes the iced coffee there. Therefore, Jessica purchased.
    3. She did not order the drink at 3.30. She was only making reservation for 4pm because their meetup time was supposed to be 4pm. But her friends were extremely late, which is very typical Indonesian.
    4. Jessica was meant to meetup with her 3 friends. Mirna, Hani and Vera. Vera was late. She was buying soaps for her 3 friends. is that weird? no.
    5. CCTV footage is most likely has been tampered and raised by the IT expert during the trial. Disagreed? check out Ferdy Sambo’s case to show you that is possible. Oh, FYI - Ferdy Sambo was the lead police officer for Jessica’s case. And he was convicted for premediated murder in 2022 and telling lies during trials.

Losing a twin is such a unique pain not many people are unfortunate enough to feel… and autopsies are VERY invasive. Most of my family including me were in another state when we got the news so it took us a bit of time to get there and she was a donor. We asked if they could wait so we could see her body but they couldn’t bc again, she was a donor. When we got there, they said we wouldn’t want to see her after the autopsy. Not to be gruesome, but the sever the head from the body and a bunch of other stuff, her eyes were donated even, so she didn’t have those either. I was so sad I didn’t get that final goodbye before we had her cremated… so I totally understand not wanting an autopsy unless absolutely necessary.. like she said, they’re incredibly invasive. I’m glad she got justice

He taught us to always be aware of our surroundings, always order our own drinks and keep an eye on them, never let them out of your sight. He gave us tips on surviving dangerous situations man made or natural...man made being shootings or gang attacks.
Hearing how Jessica requested the girls drink orders so she could order them, right away that pegged me as peculiar. My response would've been, "I really don't know what I'll be in the mood for when I get there, thank you anyway".
Let's say she still ordered me something, thanks to my dad and mom instilling in me a major distrust for everyone, I'd have taken a sniff first and then the tiniest of sips first. I'm just that suspicious of people I don't fully trust and that list is very small.

This will definitely be difficult for you to understand because there are many strange things in Indonesian law.
Please understand if English is difficult to understand because I use translate
Here are the facts that I can explain:
      1. Jessica arrived early to avoid the 3 in 1 (traffic jams in Jakarta are extraordinary)
      2. They agreed to meet at 4, Jessica sent a juice menu to the group and Mirna replied that she liked Vietnamese iced coffee, then Jessica offered to buy it for her then the coffee came at 4.15. Mirna unexpectedly arrived late
      3. The table was not chosen by Jessica, but by the cafe waitress
      4. Jessica is not monitoring CCTV, but there she is looking for a waiter who guides her to make the payment first
      5. When Mirna had a seizure and was referred to the nearest clinic, the victim's husband came to the location and did not allow the doctor to treat her first, he took Mirna to the hospital using a private car without an ambulance (this was very fatal)
      6. 70 minutes after Mirna died, cyanide experts found no cyanide in Mirna's stomach and no symptoms of cyanide poisoning. However, 3 days after death and a sample was taken (not an autopsy), it was found to be 0.2 mlg/l (it was not fatal, it could have been due to decomposition of the corpse)
      7. There is no evidence that Jessica put poison
      8. There were no witnesses who saw Jessica put the poison. There is no evidence that Jessica possessed poison and purchased poison
      9. Evidence that the coffee that Mirna drank was no longer original and the glass had been moved.
      10. Many experts say that CCTV evidence is suspected to have been doctored. The CCTV was not taken from the DVR but from a flash disk directly and the video had been cut into pieces
      11. 14 reports in Australia are not criminal cases. But it was a report of a lost wallet, his girlfriend's worries, his boss's worries and an accident
      12. The rumor that Jessica threatened to kill her boss is a LIE, she never said anything like that. It is suspected that her boss didn't like Jessica because she left her job which made it difficult for her boss
      13. The judge and public prosecutor at the trial always emphasized Jessica when giving testimony, even the expert witness at the trial from Jessica's attorney was shouted at in a high pitched voice. When Jessica was still being questioned she was forced to admit to an act she did not commit. If he admits he will only be sentenced to 7 years but will not be sentenced to death. It is suspected that they have engineered this case and are suspected of having been bribed by certain parties so that nothing will lighten Jessica's sentence.
      14. Someone who previously worked on this case is in prison. This person had committed premeditated murder against his aide. he threatened the police that if he was sentenced to death he would expose the police's rottenness in the cyanide coffee case. (This is very odd, isn't it? It seems true that the coffee cyanide case was engineered)
      15. There was a legal expert witness from the public prosecutor at the trial who was caught in a bribery case
      16. The judge who sentenced Jessica violated the judge's code of ethics
      17. The evidence submitted by Jessica's attorney to the judge and prosecutor that Jessica did not poison the coffee was not seen and was not considered at all by the public prosecutor
      18. Jessica was proven guilty based only on the judge's assumptions and beliefs.
      19. Mirna's family is thought to have spent a lot of money to cover the mouths of people who said Jessica was not the perpetrator
      20. In Indonesia, no money, no justice, no viral, no justice, bribery is a very common thing. because people who don't have money can be made scapegoats or not be prosecuted
      21. Jessica acts calm and unemotional because she doesn't want to see her mother sad, because if Jessica is seen crying in public her mother will cry too. Jessica's family is very closed to journalists. Basically, Jessica prioritized her family's feelings because at that time her father had undergone treatment
      22. he was arrested at the hotel not because he was evading arrest. He avoided journalists who were always in front of Jessica's house which made it difficult for his family to buy food.
After the Netflix documentary was broadcast, many officials threatened those who spoke about this case. There are officials who are trying to cover up this case and are trying to take down videos that discuss the irregularities in this case. This is very strange, why are they trying to cover it up so that this case won't be reopened?
This may be strange to hear 🤣but in Indonesia many fortune tellers say Jessica is innocent and coffee is not poisonous. They said Mirna died of chronic stomach disease
Now there are 3,800 lawyers who will help Jessica get justice pro-bono. "It is better to free 1000 guilty people than to convict 1 innocent person"

I’m indonesian and i followed the case, there’s some points stated that i’ve never heard before but maybe because of stephanie’s story telling skill it may sounds like believable. First, jessica was mirna’s best friend that mirna’s family know of and they believed she’s not the culprit behind mirna’s murder, they even defended her in media at the beginning and that all accusations was directed to mirna’s husband as way to cover up cheating allegation (with hani or with the twin) and insurance benefit. Second, before the cyanide examination came out, mirna’s family still defended jessica but later they put suspicion on jessica cuz on the day of mirna’s funeral she gave rather strange consolation message to mirna’s father saying “mirna cantik ya oom” which means “mirna is pretty, isn’t she uncle?” While looking at mirna’s open cascette, smiling. It gave chills to mirna’s dad and that started the lesbian unrequited love allegation. Later when jessica was put into trial for the murder she used the rumors about cheating and insurance to put the blame on mirna’s husband and father and claiming that she’s innocent and that she’s dragged into their murder plot but it soon backfired at her as police found the jeans she wore at the crime scene in the dumpster (it’s not burned) with cynide trace on it at her house. The case was so famous that a small business owner made use of its fame for promoting his instant coffee product called kopi jessica with jessica’s picture in it 😅

im an indonesian and this case actually brings indonesian citizens to a lot of questions bc there were a lot of inconsistencies and odd things in this case. for example many still dont know that mirna's body didnt go through autopsy, so how did the judge know it was due to cyanide. it was later found that the cyanide is on the cup and not the coffee but this fact was not brought up, it was said that the percentage of cyanide found in the victim shouldnt have been enough to kill her

@@shahanaparveen2413 yupp, the 1% of ppl who believed jessica wasnt the murderer increased after the documentary came out. a lot of suspicion was put on mirna's father bc he was the one who didnt allow mirna's body to undergo autopsy. there were also other things that i forgot but it involved some medical prescription that mirna took, when asked to bring it in to be investigated, her dad said its gone n she has taken it all, n when they found the doctor who gave the prescription, for some reason, the doctor was replaced w another one right after. idk what ppl outside of indonesia think ab this case, but a looot of indonesian tiktokers start voicing their opinions that jessica wasnt the murderer. this used to be a big case in indonesia, many law students in universities studied this case, but yeah. theres still a lot of doubt within indonesians. theres also a theory that the prescriptions might indicate that mirna suffers from gerd, and maybe she didnt eat anything beforehand n drank the coffee hence the reaction. person who embalmed mirna's body even said that there were no signs of cyanide going into the bloodstream and it was not found in the liver, the internal organs werent red. those are crucial signs of cyanide poisoning. however instead, it was found her lips and fingertips were blue which indicates the cause of death is something else. there was an interview for this ive got the video

You commented on this case just like majority netizens in indonesia at the time. You were just dead set on Jessica as the villain for motive that is weak at best, fictional at worst. You just want to see this whole thing as black and white and that's it. Someone just has to be the villain and putting the blame on Jessica is too easy. Also, disliking someone based on their personality (aloof, no tears, not emphatic, not showing emotions) are just wrong. Just because its not the norm doesn't immediately makes it a bad thing.

I had a friend since 2nd grade not invite me to her wedding last year and months before ignore my messages about hanging out and you know what I did? Nothing said congrats and stopped reaching out and stopped treating her as my best friend. Why I am going to give someone that control. I know her and as soon as shit hits the fan I am her best friend, no one is going to control my happiness and love when there are others who want it. This case breaks my heart, 20 years for someone with no remorse is crazy.

I just came here to say that I used to listen to your videos constantly, just because you did such a great job at telling the stories and doing so much justice to the victims while reading them, but it has started to change me, making me constantly think about all these tragedies, making me more closed off and depressed, making it impossible to sleep, and I just had to force myself to stop listening. I only am saying this because that isn't a bad thing, it shows how truly great you are at telling these stories, and with how hard the subjects really are, I have huge amounts of respect for you for being able to keep telling these stories every week.

Good lord. Jessica had so many red flags and if only Mirna could’ve been aware or see them clearly, she might’ve never gone for their coffee date. Then again, Mirna seems to have been the sweetheart type, she would’ve met up to just be supportive and be a kind friend anyway. She didn’t deserve to be taken away from this earth so soon. She deserved the happy future coming her way. May she rest in peace and may her husband and family find and keep peace.

i remember this case , this is the biggest mindblowing case in indonesia in 2016 ,some people still believe that jessica didnt poisoned the coffee because the autopsy find a little trace of cyanide in mirna body and they only did sample not full autopsy, the only evidence the prosecutor have is the coffee with cyanide (some say they(the police) tempering with evidence and some of the police that handling this case actually in jail right now for murder of his aide-de-camp , tempering with evidence and obtruction of justice (this one too is the biggest case recently since the defendant is two star general)) .

oh my god i remember this case! i was in law school and my professors would pause classes to watch the trials and we would watch mirna’s dad throwing tantrums that got him eventually thrown out of court. everyone also agreed that televising the trial eventually put it in jeopardy because of influence from public opinions and exposed testimonies.

I knew someone very much like Jessica once. The best moment of my life is when she decided to have a meltdown and screw a bunch of us over (it was planned over months...so yes decided is the right term). This allowed me to cut her off cleanly. She tried to weasel her way back in right at the end and I made it very clear that I would never be speaking with her again. Even if she crawled back around to meet up, I would simply not go. There are some people in this life you do not need to have around. I just wish I had realised it first because she tried to ruin my reputation on her way out of my life. A lot of other people had cut her out quietly and I never quite understood why until then. Here is to everyone who thinks they should give closure to a toxic person. Don't. These people don't deserve it. You can be respectful as you tell them to go live their best lives far away from you...but don't give them another chance or take a thing from them. And certainly don't meet up with them.

    • @orangeplanet256
      @orangeplanet256 Год назад

Couldn't agree more with the "You don't need to give closure to toxic people". I had a best friend like Jessica for 9 years, since junior high. She was always very jealous of me in multiple aspects of life, from studies to physical appearance. She tried hiding it but her sudden outbursts gave it away (eg, I always wanted to grow my hair long, something that wasn't my decision to make, but my mother's instead, so when I finally did, she kept discouraging me, saying it doesn't suit me and that it makes me look ugly, that other people agree with her and demanded I cut it like I did for years. I refused and said I love it this way and that's all that matters (for the record, I never once heard anyone else saying it doesn't suit me). And one day, after her first outburst, during which she was screaming by the way, almost like a lunatic, she sent me a message, accusing me of trying to imitate her looks, that I'm the one being jealous of her and me growing my hair was proof. And that she was very upset about this. I was shocked. I knew she could gey manipulative with words and try to turn the tables on you, making you feel like you're the bad person instead, but that was way too much of a series of outbursts, just for... hair. I then stopped overlooking her toxic and manipulative attitude, all the red flags she kept showing for years and gradually felt more and more disconnected emotionally from her. And yes, there were times I feared for my life while being next to her. I had at least incidents during which I was hurt by something and she was just staring at me, with a smug look on her face, like she was enjoying seeing me in pain. I put up with her for a little more. I had given her plenty of chances to change her attitude with talks that lasted for hours(she always acted defensively), but saw no change in her. So one day, I just stopped sending her messages and stopped answering to her. I ghosted her. I knew that even if I were to talk with her again and then give a closure, she wouldn't accept it, like she never accepted anything I told her about her, that was not nice and she should try changing it, because it was disrespectful towards me. And that was the best decision I ever made in my life and after that I felt more free than ever.

Dear Stephanie, I commented on your post less than 24h ago and found this video. Here are key facts about the case:
    1. Mirna was never autopsied, per court records. The victim's lack of autopsy raises questions about the alleged crime's validity.
    2. The coffee sample, tested for cyanide, lacks documented chain of custody, casting doubt on its reliability.
    3. The Indonesian Police Lab, akin to NFS in South Korea, stated in open court:
    a. A stomach sample taken 70 mins post-Mirna's death tested negative for cyanide.
    b. The post-embalming sample showed insufficient cyanide levels, challenging the poisoning theory.
    c. No traces of cyanide were found in various parts of the sample that was taken from her body.
    4. Dr. Djaja (the one that embalmed the victim’s body as per requested), a renowned forensic doctor in SEA, urged an autopsy but was denied due to the family's influence. His examination found no cyanide signs pre-embalming.
    5. The CCTV lacks clear chain of custody details, raising concerns of manipulation by renowned digital forensics.
    6. A psychiatrist that was tasked to examine Jessica at that time had her master's cancelled at that time for disagreeing with the presented diagnosis by her team.
Despises Jessica’s past this is a very political case.
This case affects the nation, exposing corruption and a compromised justice system. I implore you to revisit and shed light on these emerging facts, as they challenge the integrity of the authorities. Your platform has the power to bring attention to this injustice, resonating with those who seek truth and fairness.
As an Indonesian myself I am ashamed to say that this is what my home country is capable of hence why people like me refused to go back and live there as this type of situation can happen to anyone who doesn't have the money, power or connection. Any day they can be framed as scapegoats just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
