It's amazing to see that even if there was a performance mode, it would only give a stable 30fps.
"stable"
60 fps needs to be the standard now.
@@andmillions it’s supposedly to be the standard. It’s been over 2 years fir current gen consoles.
Just started replaying this, I'm enjoying it definitely not as bad as everyone says imo.
me too! just got it on gamepass and I'm enjoying it so far, many of the framerate issues and bugs have been fixed
I’ve just started and yeah, it has it flaws, but I’m really enjoying this game
they cancelled batman beyond with damian wayne and old bruce for this
Is it me or half of the review is the guy complaining “why isn’t it like Arkham games!”
Not just you, this is just a 10 minute video of some butthurt Arkham fanboy getting mad that an unrelated game isn't another Arkham game.
It's crazy we believe ign when they give a low score but totally dismiss positive reviews 😂
The hood lace glitch at the 5:55 mark had me rolling!
How did they get away with that?
They call him red Hood for a reason
Sigh , Imagine a new Batman game on the PS5 and Series X instead of this.
Don't put that sadness on me
Or....a freaking Batman AND Superman game Worlds Finest!?
This wasn’t made by rocksteady so it doesn’t affect wether a Batman game would be made or not
@@rjg1847 It's not like WB Montreal hasn't made an Arkham game before
I'll do you one better; imagine Arkham Knight enhanced and optimized for the PS5 and Series X
Why do they always want to kill Batman, they could have easily kept Batman alive while you play one of the Sidekicks, he could have operated as a type of Mission control off doing his own thing while sending you off on your own missions. What's with the world these days where they always want to kill off or destroy the classic heroes.
Just like the Spiderman games did
“Mr. Freeze can create weather now?! Mr freeze can create weather now.”
“They fly now?! They fly now.”
They should've just made another Batman game.. let's hope Rocksteady can save us with Suicide Squad
The characters were not the problem here
They will
And dont forget Monolith with Wonder woman
@@sambeahan They were, too niche to hold a game at this point. Should have properly introduced them in Batman games to set up this story.
@@sm4carnageihope these characters stand on their own, if rocksteady was developing this game it’d easily be up there with arkham games
u know they will...rocksteady knows what they are doing at least when it comes to game mechanics...im sure they wont hand us half assed RPG and co op shite...
Those deeps in the framerate near the end of the review are absolutely unacceptable.
Gimme a Sifu styled game with Batman and the bat family…
This game was meant to be games as a service.
Game looks fun. When it's 80%-90% off on steam or $5 at gamestop I'll pick it up.
Atm on steam its 50% grab it now if you can. Yeah definitely worth cheaper, since with the bugs and all.
Keep in mind we would have had a Arkham game based on Damien Wayne and old Batman instead of this if it wasn’t for data leakers
Idk why some are saying that combat is boring. The Arkham games have THE most boring combat ever. It’s literally just punch, punch, counter, punch, punch, batarang, punch, counter, repeat. Most of the fights you don’t even have to move. You can literally stand in one spot and win…but yet the combat in that game is praised for being so fun and innovative…when it’s not. At least in this game you have to actively dodge, you get different weapon types, different characters that aren’t DLC, & abilities. This game isn’t perfect, but what he said about the combat was pretty biased imo. All he said was “it was boring.” Didn’t even give a reason for it.
U just plain dumb and don't have any creativity, u can stand still and win a fight, or you can use your brain and try all the gadgets and combos the arkham games has to offer
Ever since the first preview, Gotham Knights has been like watching a train wreck but being unable to do anything!
"Weak predictable story"
Batman is alive
That would make the game even worse imo, you find out he is alive and they still make you play as the sidekicks 😂😂😆😆
almost everyone predicted that he was gonna be alive 😂
Just to die again lol
What would make it more worse is after you found out Batman is alive by the end of the game they let you play as him after beating the game
Well ra's mentioned the Lazarus pits so there that plus the court of owls will probly bring him back
Funny people dont agree they gave she hulk an 8, but suddenly when IGN gave this game a 5, it's probably right.
Exurbia game honestly does not look that bad it was doomed to have a bad score just because it’s constantly getting compared to The Arkham games when it isn’t made bumpy the same people it’s not even classified as the same game
If this game was woke. It would be an 8 at minimum
Confirmation bias.
It's almost as if it's a completely different reviewer.
@@doetoe6759 the point I'm trying to make. Just because this reviewer gave it a 5, doesn't mean it's a 5 for everyone. Someone out there will thought that this game is great and doesn't deserve a 5.
WB was also kinda responsible for the painful experience that was MK11. They just make games for kids now. We who built them up have been tossed aside and it hurts man.
You know it's bad when ign gives your game a 5
and you know it’s bad when ign gives she hulk a 8/10
@@Pluhpluh0 wtf ign are u high, that awful shows not even deserve 5
You know a AAA title must be truly bad when IGN gives it less than a 7.

Game is ok. Not a 5, I’d say it’s like a 7.
Idc what anyone says.
The game is a banger, it's really fun and incredible.
This game is fun as hell. These reviews are becoming disrespectful.
damn this game looks like a deep deep sale or better yet finding it on the high seas. This is like the season 8 of game thrones for the arkham games.
Oof roasted!
Season 8 of GOT should now be an official rating scale, like for example "the colonoscopy was painful, but atleast it wasn't GOT Season 8"
Don’t care what the reviews say personally loving it and going to continue to play over the week
@MandoGamer whining about what? Your sad incel life, your names not mando🤣
@MandoGamer wrong person your talking to kid
Remember that according to devs you can’t criticize this game unless you have developed one yourself
That guy is a moron for saying that
I've noticed a pattern with devs being overly defensive usually release poor products. Saints Row devs come to mind.
True
His biggest mistake was thinking this was going to be another Arkham game lmao
Facts people keep comparing it to Arkham and that’s why they upset lls I’m going in playing it like it’s a totally new game
@@kellzthegreatjohnson7964 Fact people got to leave arkham behind and appreciate the new
@@stormp2982 if only the new game wasn't so mediocre looking and thats even before they tried comparing it Arkham.
Thank you! The developer repeatedly said it would play differently and he was still expecting an Arkham game.
Maybe I'll try something new, it can't be that bad. Something new:
Just back here to double check this game got the same rating as Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Wow.
It really makes you feel like Batman
…in the sense that he’s dead yes 🙃
Actually it does not, if it did maybe it would've been a better game.
But you can’t even play as Batman 😂

Not gonna lie I'm still purchasing this after a significant price drop
I’ll probably buy it when it’s 30
Epic games will give it for free in 2023
Don’t even need to watch the video. The whole game is about pressing Punch punch punch kick then after you punch punch punch kick 1000 times, you get to punch punch punch kick kick or unlock the punch punch punch kick kick edition from the start for 39.99$.
The frame rate was probably dropping during the gameplay teasers, probably why we got 10 sec trailers with 2 punches thrown lmao
You realize there were gameplay videos lasting longer than 10 minutes, right?
5/10?! That still means it has a little something for everyone right?
It means it’s a bad game.
It means you go back and play the Arkham games.
Means you dont listen to IGN reviews
Ign were being generous giving it a 5/10
@@DarknessDragoon212 most the time they get it right, they don't always get it right
Honestly. They lost me when they said batman is dead. No thanks
Really feels like a 2022 game - IGN
$70 and 30fps on consoles was just the icing on the cake and a lot of vloggers are defending this game 😆
Vloggers?
Just played Arkham Knight on PlayStation 5 again. What a great experience. Will wait 2 years when this game is $10 and pick it up. Very disappointing considering Origins was so much fun.
These Dev teams lost the fun out of gaming 😭 they mistake it for GRINDING and boring side quest. Same like what Assassin Creed went through 💀 for a few years.
Everyone is sucking off Arkham Knight but in 2015 everyone shitting on it, yeah let’s get to that.
Arkham knight deserved the criticism it got like the boss fights and repetitive tank missions but u never saw complaints about the core game mechanics and how smooth, polished, and detailed everything is
