Every time I watch this boat review i am blown away by the quality and everything they managed to put on a 58 footer. Plus the magic of Victoria and Rico!!!
That is a much larger boat because of all the special features such as the laundry room the engine room, the master bedroom And breakfast nook and table by the big window, absolutely a beautiful boat very livable for a couple and maybe even a couple children.I’m impressed!!
Riviera outdid themselves. This boat is fantastic! There are so many intuitive design features and little to no wasted space. The three steps up from the cockpit is such a smart design choice. The owner's suite alone feels like it could be on a super yacht. The designer(s) of this yacht needs an award.
We have friends who bought a Riviera 445 SUV for the Great Loop and it is a fantastic boat! Wow. As an engineer, I am in love with the Volvo Penta system. An Australian-designed and built craft with a Swedish power plant and drive system-this is a truly international design that one can buy internationally. Welcome to the New World!

This one has so many nice spaces really. I like the bowe to and I like when they put the laundry behind the owner's cabin like that .And when they are over 55' they really are nice.
Wow, what a boat, it has all the bells and whistles of a much larger boat. It does seem to be a lot bigger on the inside than the outside would suggest and it still doesn't feel cramped. Thanks guys. xxx
Rico, Victoria, as I commented to Dan Jones on Dan's Boat Life, Riviera has really outdone themselves with this model. And the quality is outstanding. Dan said he did a tour of Rivieras' factory and stated that they do everything in house.

First let me say you two are a great young couple your interplay some time has me laughing reminds me of Renae and myself sometimes when you know each other well the banter is great. Well back to the boat great storage well designed layout a couple would be happy living on board I liked the extra frig storage no going to grocery store ever few days and a combo washer dryer and work space Nice whoever buys her will be a happy boater I think.
Very nice motor yacht for sure. I am happy to say, that Rico has not got you a new "nappy spot" situation: Rinse down is a real term, it seems. So many good details on this boat and I am very happy to note, that Riviera got those utility/ laundry rooms on their models. So many boats shock me by not accommodating that at all. That would be a pain, if you live on a boat full time, as for instance Windelo, which I otherwise love, but which only offer a tiny washer-dryer combo, that is mostly useless. I am stunned, that this sporty looking and also possible fast cruising motor yacht actually can be dialed back to deliver a real serious range: 2.000 NM on this type of boat is really just incredible. That is for instance almost ten times the range of that last Schaefer, that you revived.
Here's a question that I have never seen asked of you. Of all the yachts that you have been on and looked at over the past few years which one stands out the most, you know the one that surprised you and every now and then pops back into your mind. As always stay safe and keep having fun.

This is a beautiful boat an well thought out. I love the engine room is behind the master bedroom and the utility room is between them. Like Ricco said, great place to put fishing gear and having a space to keep tools for setting up lines, mainly steel cable lines that sharp teeth have harder trouble biting in half but there are fish that can don't forget. Those fish you want them to bite the steel cable and not your hand or any body part because you will be missing it. Great fast boat. Has a great vacation holiday written all over it.

I think I commented once a few months ago, but I see our Australian lifestyle is really getting to you and You're slowing down a bit and taking in our slower paced culture. It took a little long to cover everything on this boat but it made for a much more relaxed tour and far more professional video over all. I have to say I like this one very, very much! Thank you. Great to see an Aussie motor yatch on your reviews. I live on my old 1986 4550 Bayliner in Wallaroo, Sth Australia. My neighbours 58ft Riviera (2015?) which i've spent many an hour polishing etc has a much more compact designed interior & on this new model the engine room is such a pleasing open area compared to the 2015 era. Riviera, yep they love thier Fridges, Freezers and Ice Boxes or as we Aussies like to call them, Eskys. After seeing this model i'm very impressed at the changes that have been made over the past years. i might even consider purchasing one when i win the lottery. Keep up your good work !!
A thoughtfully thought out boat. The designer paid attention to the necessities for the comfort and safety of the boat for liesure cruising, fishing. But the inside is very nicely furnished, textures and colours. The seating arranngment and tables are well placed, and well made. The galley has everything to hand and everything you need as does the helm. The engine room is practical as is the laundry. The layout of the cabins gives versatility to hosting their guest. Price expensive but the price is matched by the overall comfort, style and safety of the boat. Thank you.
Thzt table was my suggestion for your build. Comsidering how many people yeou will,have and how unused it gets, it could work. Great way to save space. Funny thung is I've seen this boat on a couple other channels and one of them didn't even mention the table or really go over the cabins. I think it's a cool yacht and Riviera is one of my favorites but it always seems like every person who has one is a complete snob. There are 3 down at the docks near me and I've tried talking to the owners and they were dismissing and rude.

The light inside this boat is simply killer. Very sleek, sophisticated look. People will be looking at you when you come into the marina. A full sized laundry room. If you have seven people staying there would be a need for this for sure. No more doing laundry while you shower.

I love these things, nautistyles, riviera , australia, gold coast, what an ensemble . Thank you and please keep us in focus here in Australia, boating here is so varied from Western Australia to the Whitsundays to Sydney to Pittwater to even the lovely Gippsland lakes , Tasmania, Cairns etc, it’s a smorgsorbiard of destinations but less congested than say Florida . Btw riviera are go anywhere seriously competent vessels.

WOW, an amazing yacht for only 65 feet which has that old school look to it, but so many nice modern features, even some super yacht features as you pointed out. Nice tender, looks like a little ski boat and you can go bigger! Great thinking for a beach club and outdoor kitchen with so much space and also set up for fishing. Such a great stern, but then there is an awesome flybridge up front also. I feel like calling this the "But wait, there MORE" Yacht. Love the indoor/outdoor room and then the main interior set up is clearly a comfortable area where the owners and friends and family can all be together, informally. Rico obvisously loved this one and it was fun to experience that. I think you also should have mentioned how FAST this yacht can go. Great yacht, great review.

Really goes to show you the vast range of appeal. Most saying they love it, I am on the complete opposite end. For a modern vessel, I am hard pressed to find anything they did right. Well, more power to ya if this is what lights your fire.
Your tours are the absolute best! I watch them for inspiration and your positivity is contagious. You are natural salespeople, presenting yachts in their absolute best light. Start charging already, at least referral commissions. 😍
I have been around boats since the 70s. My dad was a sailor, but also owned a trawler and a conventional power boat. So he usually kept subscriptions to Power & Motoryacht, among other mags. My largest boat to date has been a 43' (45' technically). This Riviera 585 is the most well thought-out, most complete, and "biggest" sub-60' yacht I have ever seen. "Feature-laden" is an understatement. Truly amazing. It absolutely reeks of quality. Bravo Riviera! 👌

You guys are on fire with this boat ..what a team‼Thanks for bringing back this boat to my attention :) I have mostly been focused on the 60, 460 72, 57 and yes the beautiful Belieze 66. I just figured for a fishing boat I would not want the tender on the platform like the 585 however after looking at this again through your focus "it all came back" :) haha. It just seems that the Riv was just expensive comparativly untill I saw the Princess 80 and 90 on a sea trial and it just creaked WoW! I have been thinking of going the route you guys have taken by getting a larger boat and running a charter business. I am not without some skill set. looking forward to the next tour! Thanks,Tom

Thank you and please keep us in focus here in Australia, boating here is so varied from Western Australia to the Whitsundays to Sydney to Pittwater to even the lovely Gippsland lakes , Tasmania, Cairns etc, it’s a smorgsorbiard of destinations but less congested than say Florida . Btw riviera are go anywhere seriously competent vessels.

WOW, an amazing yacht for only 65 feet which has that old school look to it, but so many nice modern features, even some super yacht features as you pointed out. Nice tender, looks like a little ski boat and you can go bigger! Great thinking for a beach club and outdoor kitchen with so much space and also set up for fishing. Such a great stern, but then there is an awesome flybridge up front also. I feel like calling this the "But wait, there MORE" Yacht. Love the indoor/outdoor room and then the main interior set up is clearly a comfortable area where the owners and friends and family can all be together, informally. Rico obvisously loved this one and it was fun to experience that. I think you also should have mentioned how FAST this yacht can go. Great yacht, great review.

I have been around boats since the 70s. My dad was a sailor, but also owned a trawler and a conventional power boat. So he usually kept subscriptions to Power & Motoryacht, among other mags. My largest boat to date has been a 43' (45' technically).
This Riviera 585 is the most well thought-out, most complete, and "biggest" sub-60' yacht I have ever seen. "Feature-laden" is an understatement. Truly amazing. It absolutely reeks of quality. Bravo Riviera! 👌
I would be remiss to not mention the beautiful classic lines. A great profile that avoids the "tennis shoe" look that the US manufacturers adopted.

You guys are on fire with this boat ..what a team‼Thanks for bringing back this boat to my attention :) I have mostly been focused on the 60, 460 72, 57 and yes the beautiful Belieze 66. I just figured for a fishing boat I would not want the tender on the platform like the 585 however after looking at this again through your focus "it all came back" :) haha. It just seems that the Riv was just expensive comparativly untill I saw the Princess 80 and 90 on a sea trial and it just creaked WoW! I have been thinking of going the route you guys have taken by getting a larger boat and running a charter business. I am not without some skill set. looking forward to the next tour! Thanks,Tom
