The Fiji is one of my favorite ships in game. I have been waiting on this ship for a while. Nice job showcasing the it’s abilities.

I think the Leander is a lot easier to play. Maybe because of enemy experience maybe because the detectability idk. I boosted to the Belfast and I must say, its strong but you can get deleted faster in that ship than any other UK cruiser I've played yet. But omg what a firestarter lol

I’m loving the Fiji, I’m running tennent though mainly for the ingenious perk, having that maxed out for the turret rotation and mitigating splash damage is awesome but knowing how many ships are targeting me just lets me know when I need to maneuver
I'm not as fond of cruisers as I am DDs. But the Brit cruiser line is pretty solid so far. I have only made it to the Fiji though. No idea how the Edinburgh holds up but given what I have seen so far, I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm a DD guy myself, I feel the same way. The Brit cruiser line in genert has made me sort of respect cruisers more.

I would say the UK cruisers are very opponent dependant.
As they need the opponent not to angle but luckily since the average Joe doesn't bother angling and infact usually are happy to go full broadside your life is made much easier in a UK cruiser then it should be.
Well, even if they do angle, you can hit cruisers and battleships above decks in their super structures to get great amounts of damage.
This can be counteracted with good positioning with concealed crossfire onto rushing BB's. Another great role on FIJI is DD hunter. When you can't secure good angles it's best to support ALLIED BB's with smoke coverage. I run lvl 16 Yamamoto with lvl 12 Lutjens meaning I get 5.5% AP multiplier and 3% more AP damage with Fraser giving even more AP bonus. I took down 3 BB's with 190,000 damage one match with this build, after kiting 3 torpedo hits and protecting my BB's from an invading DD.
Got a bit to go before unlocking this one, but looking forward to it... running Belfast on the line and getting some solid results

That was me in the New Mexico. Thanks for the tips. Will re watch the Fault Line Video. It was a frustrating match (for me). I felt like i was playing hide and seek with the enemy ships and I kept making the wrong move. I definitely felt out of the action. I do try to listen to teammates call outs to come up with a plan. Am I correct that you are in the MN area (Boogardsfist=Derek Boogard of the MN Wild)? I live in ND. Love the channel and videos and i cant believe i didn't notice your profile! I usually try to look through the player list and now i feel i need to redeem myself!
Yep, mn. If we would have had one more ship alive I could have hunted that destroyer, but we needed more time either way. Interesting game though
@@TbullGaming The destroyer was hiding by the island in their base and torped me and the battleship finished me off. Playing last night on fault line I followed your direction and it played out exactly like you said. We won and I had a great game!!! Loving the content. Thanks!

I enjoyed the video. I struggle with the British line. I feel helpless as I keep pumping shells into a ship (BB) and seeing little to no damage while getting pounded back. I do appreciate the smoke and do a better job when I can sit in the smoke and just keep hitting targets. I am close to getting the Fiji which I enjoyed on the PC version of the game.
I'm loving my Fiji, and I running Belfast as commander. Ingenious is really handy while getting some decent perks Fraser has too.
I would point out though from watching your video, maybe the single fire torp function would be better for you, rather than dumping a wide pattern; especially when you actually come across someone who plays the throttle and rudder properly

Fiji has 100mm upper bow plate and can reliably bounce German BB AP if angled.
IMO shooting the Scharnhorst in middle was a mistake. Safe to take the free damage as you said, but it told everyone where you were and lost all ambush potential on the base cappers. GG.
Yeah, we needed about 5 more mins on the clock. Good info about the armor, I didn't think it could bounce any BB AP. Could definitely use an armor view mode

Any tips fighting tier 7 battleships in this thing. Whenever I decide I want to finish levelling my RN cruisers, I get games where 7/9 ships are tier 7 BBs...

What cruiser tree do you recommend for new players? I've currently got US, KM, and RN at 5, 4, and 4. So far the German boats have treated me the best but I'm really liking the look of this Fiji. I hate the Pensacola.

Dude, the Belfast vs. Fraiser debate is killing me! Every match I think to myself, man Belfast would have been better. Then in another match I think, Dang it. An extra smoke would be here right here instead of kiting... I have Belfast at 16+2 and Fraiser at 14+1 and I cannot make a complete decision. Oh Wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from this body of death!?
Fraser is better in my opinion if not Tennant over belfast. The lack of that extra smoke and heal is definitely felt if you plan to make it to the end of every match. If you are good at paying attention to your surroundings then pick fraser. If not pick Tennant who I plan to upgrade next after nelson.
I'll put one in the Belfast set up for HE soiam and use the other for the TT ships. Haven't decided which will go where yet

A question. How do you get your guns to rotate on this ship?
Mine had no observable rotation.
Ps just did 137 hits and 26k dmg.

I’m curious if using AP pen buffs on this ship results in you overpening destroyers. Is the short fuse ap still arming on destroyers with the penetration multiplier inspiration? I don’t wanna find that out the hard way when I overpen broadsiding DDs
Doesn't have any effect on that. It just converts some shots that would have been blocked into either normal pens or overpens, both of which are better than blocked shots.
Alright I’ll give it a try to see if I’m getting more damage accumulated that way. Personally I use William with most of the survivability traits selected and for my inspirations I run the cruiser accuracy and concealment... maybe I will get more citadels if I swap out accuracy for pen lol

I just cant get any damage from them. Landed over 100 shells on bbs super structure and only get 40k ish.
They are fine when it's all cruiser vs cruiser where you can get 4k+ a volley but in a heavy bb fight expect the worst results.
Sadly my games are all 4 and 5 bb a side. They need to put HE on theses.
I can get 40k + dmg from 23 shells on any other cruiser by comparison.

Doubloons are mostly from purchasing in the store. Sometimes there will be missions in the missions tab that will have some
what upgrades you run on the fiji. concealment or double steering?

I continuously look like an amateur when I watch your videos. I have more confidence in the Fiji... when you are at the helm, I still suck at it.
Everyone has plenty of room to improve. Have never seen a perfect, mistake free game
