From what I understand they both had jobs and worked hard before pursuing this lifestyle as well as continuing to do online work now. Also many people who would like to travel dont go ahead with it but thanks to these guys we are practically took along on their adventures and are able to see the cities, landmarks and other little perks we otherwise wouldnt see. They do not beg for money and continue to share interesting and funny videos for FREE on a regular basis. Just a tip: you should be careful with flying your drone around in Germany. To fly a drone in Germany the drone must be insured separately and it must be labelled with your Name and address (the label has to be fireproof (I'm not joking)), otherwise flying a drone around is illegal and can result in a fine of up to 1500€ (in some cases). Flying over private properties is also forbidden.
Good old Germany with its strict rules and regulations! pity its migration policy isn't so strict.
You should have told them this last time they went to Germany lol, it would have saved them a visit from the police
Terrorists have more rights than citizens in the Schengen zone.

I've always wanted to go to Berlin! I've studied DGR (well, RDA in spanish) history and one of my wishes has been watching the contrast of the city with the wall and talk with people about. I know germans aren't open about I feel connected with that sad moment and I don't know why. I felt melancholic during the video despite the delicious food and the joyful atmosphere. Thank guys, a big hug.

The fire thing is a modern invention from the 1990s night club scene. It's used in Czech-style "absinth" (no "e") which doesn't have the aniseed flavour and so doesn't display the "ouzo effect" of clouding up when water is added and the anethole precipitates.

Prenzlauerberg is the most fashionable and hip area of Berlin with 70% of its residents age under the age of 35. I'm going there on Monday to visit family, love the place. Mauerpark still has a long section of the Berlin Wall standing, its used by artists who create the most beautiful art on it.

That fire business isn't the traditional way to drink absinthe... one of my favorite drinks. That's just a modern trend that's popular with European tourists right now. Traditionally, all you do is slowly drip cold water (distilled is best) via a dripper, over a raw sugar cube on an absinth spoon and into a shot of good quality absinthe. Slow is the key as you want the flavour of the wormwood to develop slowly. Setting fire to your drink destroys the natural flavour and only burns off the alcohol of this very special drink. Enjoy :)
Next time we'll definitely opt for the dripping technique. Fire and alcohol (and several beers beforehand) are not a great combination! 🔥😳

The Soviet Memorial at Treptower Park was one of the sites I wanted to see in Berlin, but just didn't have time to make it. So glad you guys included this. Looks amazing!

There's an awesome Absinthe bar in Antwerp if you ever want to try it again on your travels. They have a bunch of different ones and prepare it for you. They also make delicious cocktails with absinthe if the regular preparation isn't your thing.
Berlin is awesome! I recommend the Berlinische Galerie. It's not too big and there's a good cafe.
Go to a place called the barn if you're after great coffee in Berlin. They're on instagram under thebarnberlin. Also try burgermeister and go to the original one under the railway bridge that used to be a toilet (don't get put off by that haha) it's amazing, one of the best burgers I've ever had! Safe and happy travels guys!!

One more thing...if those are regular fries, then ketchup is OK...but, if they're pomfritz, putting ketchup on them is almost a sin in Germany...they eat them with mayo...yup, you heard that right!! lol Either way, enjoy your time there...so much good food to try there!!

Good Brotchen, Schaschlik, pickled herring in sour cream, German herring salad, pomfritz (like our fries, but with a special seasoning on them), German Bologna (so much better than our's in the USA...it's real bologna at it's best), Bakery (try some of the small cut desserts; when I was there, I made it a point to try 2 different ones every time I visited our bakery there)...I cut them in half & shared them with my hubby & we kept a record of which we liked best...we did the same with the cheese, meat & bread. He was stationed there at the time, but has since passed away. You haven't visited Germany though, until you try these foods...and hot mulled wine in the winter...at open Platz's around small shops there. Just don't have more than one or you'll wind up higher than a kite!! lol Enjoy!! I subbed yall too!

ahh currywurst yum yum! I loved Berlin when I went a few years ago, but we went in December when it was super cold and Christmassy. If you like the war history, I recommend a trip to the battlefields of Northern France and Belgium. Humbling and very interesting.
Funny, i found this video last night by accident. September 5th. The currywurst was invented on September 4th, 1949 in Berlin Charlottenburg. I was born in Berlin Charlottenburg on September 4th, but a few years after the currywurst.... :-) Nice video, though. I was just back in Berlin for the first time in over 20 years this April. You covered it nicely.

We were living in Nashville when it flooded years ago and I remember how helpless we all felt seeing the water rise and knowing there was nothing we could do to prevent it. I went to that war memorial when it was east Germay as a kid in 1980. A very strange experience. Goose stepping guards and east Germans to scared to talk to my Millitary father and family.

Hey Guys... I have just discovered your channel. For your next visit to Germany, you have to go to my Hometown Magdeburg. There you will find the best Currywurst of Germany at "Curry 54" and the original Absinth at the "Abshof". And if you have been there for Christmas time. A visit to the Christmas market is mandatory here. You must try the "Schmalzkuchen". 😉

In a previous video you both had said that you'll may go to Budapest again. I had recently gone there and went to this Basilica in this town called Eztergom. I t is an amazing place to visit. From the top you can even see Slovakia on the other side. And on the journey there you see the Danube's bend which is an absolutely beautiful view.

Eat at the diner "Azzam" at Sonnenallee 54, there you can enjoy a delicious arabic breakfast for under 10 Euros (depends on what and how much you order), arabic tea is for free there, the area the diner is located is called (by the locals) "the arabic street". If you dogo to Azzam you should definitely get the "Manakish" with cheese (or Thymus; tomatos and onions; meat) and definitely a "Fattah-plate"....soo good! Berlin is best known for its multiculturalism, so make it worth your stay and get to know the cultures the city has to offer ;-)
Go to "WonderWaffel", soooooo delicious! There are only 4 stores in Berlin.

Amazing how good sandwiches can taste, right? Nothing like the poor american whitebread. And that's only Italian bread, so many Americans are just amazed about our greatest German food and especially bread and meat. And you only tasted the tourist munch. Believe me, I saw so so many expats changing their thinking about tasty and healthy food when they went to Germany, but they needed their time to really know what is healthy.
It's easy. Put a single leaf of lettuce on anything you eat: Voila... Healthy!
