- This Panasonic Slow Juicer allows you to have both fresh juice and frozen treats! I love the dual functionality. It comes with a food pusher, lid, squeezing screw, filter, rotating brush, juicing bowl, frozen attachment, motor housing, juice container, pulp container, cleaning brush and instructions. Assembling all the parts together is straightforward. There are arrows marked on the parts to show you which directions to insert it in. However, the squeezing screw is not easy to remove from the unit and I have to wiggle it slightly to loosen it.
In use, this Panasonic Slow Juicer is compact, quiet and very efficient. I love that the motor itself is very heavy and the whole unit is stable on the table top. It is so compact that it doesn’t take up much storage space. Placing fruits into the juicer, I am delighted that it is not noisy at all. You can continue your conversations with friends without needing to raise your voice.
I do find that the hole for the feeding tube hole is quite small, hence I have to cut all the fruits into small pieces. There is only one button to operate which is the on/off button. Holding down the off button also reverses the direction, in case your ingredients become jammed. So far I have not had to use the button.
We all enjoy using the juicer, including the children. I have used it on carrots, cucumber, celery and many more fruits. Each of these came out very clear and smooth. It is very easy to drink. The pulp that came out was very dry.
To make frozen treats, you need to swap to the frozen attachment which is very easy to swap over. The frozen treats come out almost immediately and it is very smooth. I am very pleased with the texture.
As for washing, it was quite tricky cleaning the mesh of all the fibrous pulp. Using the supplied brush, I was able to clean it after some time and but I would recommend soaking it for a while to help soften and loosen any dried pulp.
Overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend it.
I received this product from the company (ComeRound) for free. However, they have not paid me for this review, and they do not exercise any editorial control over my review or anything else on this site.

Nice demo! Thanks.
Thank you for this video! I'm thinking of buy this, and your video help me a lot! :)
Nice video, thank you.
May i find out if I can put in Pomegranate into the slower juicer?
DIY Jewelry Making hi, they said no seed, so it is a no. The space in the machine to turn is quite small. The gap/rubber flap for the pulp to come out is very small too so The seed might break the outlet.
Hello Eileen, thank you for the review, it was very helpful! I was wondering - is it possible to make carrot or beetroot juice with the juicer? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Lena R yes, of course. You can.
Thank you!
The best review i've seen so far. Could you please tell me why is there 400w models cheaper than the Panasonic which has a 150w motor?
Thank you.
it could be the materials they used for their machine. for this panasonic, the materials are quite solid and look gorgeous.
Eileen Teo Thank you anyway. Did you try to make some frozen sorbet with yougurt or mascarpne or any other milky cream? because mixing only fruits doesn't look that good (it breaks and seems a little dry isn't it?)
A. M-K we use frozen fruits to make the sobert then mix it with yogurt before put it back in freeze to give it a burst of cold air. Not mix from the mixer itself. I have not put yogurt or cream in the mixer yet. So can’t really answer u that.
Eileen Teo One last question, i'm a big fan of ginger, don't you think it could break the juicer? i mean it's very hard.
It shouldn’t break it. If you slice into small slices, it should be fine. It is just that it will stuck on the filter and make it hard to wash it out properly. I did mentioned that the filter is not easy to scrub. The fibre might not able to remove easily
What about oranges that may have seeds, and can you juice orange with the peel?
Anas yes, just remove the seeds. The peel is fine .
Does anyone use the pulp or skins for anything?
Great demo. Tq.
Can it make juice from celery ? Have you tried some other juicer ? I intend to purchase this one. Thanks for any info. Great demo
yes i did made it with celery recently. i also add apple with it. work well. but this machine no longer in the market. so i dont think you can get it any more.
what's the difference between this model and the newer one please ?
ML-L600 is only sold in some part of european countries. The diff is the filter insert. The filter hole is slightly bigger than the ML-L500. Probably it is easy to clean (im not sure as i dun have the L600). The rest is the same like dimensenion, weight, parts etc.
another thing is some parts of the juicer are dishwasher safe. The l500 parts are handwash only. hope this help.
How does this compare to the omega juicer (vertical and horizontal models) for leafy greens, celery, carrots, cucumbers? Which has less pulp and clogs less?
Veggie Bee hi, I have not tried omega juicier before. So can’t comment on it. I would think you will get clog more easily for this. The blade is really fine and hard to clean.
Eileen Teo
Thanks for such a fast reply! So in your opinion, this juice doesn't handle greens and celery very well? It sure is hard to find one that does!
yeah, sort of. cucumber will be diffcult unless you de-seed it. no seeds are allow to put thru the juicer. the seed will ruin the blade.
Eileen Teo
Wow, I'm glad I found your video before I bought! So I assume it does best with fruits and not greens/veggies?
Veggie Bee yes, fruit will be better because of their texture
Hi, I have two questions: si puo fare il latte vegetale, tipo wuello di mandorle? E poi sembra che l estrattore giri piu veloce di 45 giri/min, o sbaglio?
@@ironfist6988 sì, puoi fare il latte di mandorle. Basta aggiungere abbondante acqua e mandorle. Questa macchina è a 45 giri al minuto.
@@ETSpeaksFromHome Thank you so much
How is this holding up now ?? Outta on sale on Amazon deal of the day
it is good just pain to wash it! i only do quite standard fruits like melon, watermelon etc. hope this help.
How many DB?? i dont know between this model or Moulinex Infiny...
Fran p what do u mean by DB?
Decibels 50dB, 40dB, etc... the official specification noise of the product :)
Fran p oic. I don’t know. It is quite quieter than other blenders I have. It turn very slowly.
Hi, can i juice celery with this juicer?
Amirul Afiq yes you can.
this juicer broke after 4th use. I juiced only carrots and beets, the juicer started to deliver more and more pulp into the juice. Also when pouring water in, to clean the juicer, water comes out from the hole dedicated for pulp. >:(
That is not good. Hope you able to return it.
gamingradeon Did you close or check the rubber flap?
did you try to make soy bean or almond milk with this panasonic ?
ganjar bayu no, you can’t, it is consider seeds. They are best to use in soup maker.
How is it holding up after a year? Are you looking for another juicer or satisfied so far with this?
Enrico John Oliveros still good to use. I just hate washing it.
Eileen Teo awesome! Do you get great geen juices with it?
Enrico John Oliveros no, not really into green juice. I just use my fav all sorts of melon!
nothing about cleaning?.... which can be arduous. many parts and tight crevices to reach.... dishwasher safe?
i do hate cleaning the filter. lot of bits especially orange pulp struck on the side and also the rubber on the filter have to be careful cleaning it as it might come off. All the parts are dishwasher safe except for the Motor Housing and Food pusher/lid.
@@ETSpeaksFromHome thanx a lot.....cheers.
how many watts is dis eileen ?
Roopa Tejaswi 220-240w
150W
Why the juice is not pure, there were crashed fruit in it
Those are pulp. Can be eaten as sorbet
have you try making almond milk?
No. Almond consider seeds so no suppose to use it for that.
Is it noisy?
no, it is acceptable.
can I make almond milk with the juicer?
ina zheynova no, almond consider as seed, so it will ruin the blade.
Slow juicer have no blade
How about soaking the almond in water few hours before we put it into the juicer? Is that ok?
Erlinda Novitasari There's no juice in almonds. You need to blend it then squeeze it. You cannot juice almonds

I in indonesia, here not have panasonic
Jenny Young I had a look. They do sell it online in Indonesia in Jakarta.
Looking at the insides in your review, this is just like the first-generation vertical juicers, with a small slot at the bottom screen to separate the juice from the pulp. My long experience with with the type shows that celery and other fibrous materials get stuck in the slot all too easily. Second and third generation juicers do not have a small slot. They have a continuous circular slot at the base of the screen, so the juicer is much less likely to get clogged. Panasonic have just used their name to convince people into buying older technology, which has been superseded by the South Korean company products (Hurom, Omega etc). For a little bit more, you can buy a much better product. As I write this, i am saving up for a Hurom model to replace my old Green Power first-generation-type slow-juicer. This juicer is identical in shape and construction (except for the colour) with the Oxone OX-865 model, so stay away from that one too.
This review was 4 year ago. Things changed now to be better model. Yes it is the first gen.
so much of hassle to make a glass of juice
Hi
