How many of the draft picks that he has selected are here? His job was to BUILD A TEAM. He can't be given any credit as he doesn't deserve any.......

@@MisterJiggles I 100% agree with you dude. Blows my mind how some people still try to defend Weaver even after he’s already been fired.
Weaver lost more trades than he won, never acquired a war chest of future picks/assets, drafted decently but a lot of those picks were easy to make, and most importantly he flat out FAILED to assemble a team that was gonna help our young talent develop, maximize their abilities, and learn what it takes to be a professional and win at this level. The only thing I’ll thank Weaver for is not touching and ruining our salary cap.
@@Ejohns1004weaver let Christian Wood walk for nothing and signed injury-prone Olynyk for just as much. Weaver waited too long to trade Drummond, only getting late second rounders in return. Threw in a second rounder to trade Mason Plumlee to Charlotte despite the fact that THEY should have been giving US the pick since they desperately needed a starting center. Waited too long to trade jerami grant. Drafted Killian Hayes over Haliburton. Brought in Burks and Bogdanovic and then gave them away for nothing despite them having greater trade value to a variety of contenders. Wasted money on countless free agents who didn’t pan out - Lyles, Josh Jackson, Olynyk, Bagley. Used a first round pick on a proper core piece in Saddiq, only to trade him for James Wiseman.

I woulda supported giving Monty another year to prove himself......but.......his first impression in the "D" was certainly beyond "suspect" given his record and history. Seems Trajan gonna have the entire new model, blueprints and plan in place before a single word is spoken lol. In Trajan we trust? I guess 🤔

Wow!!!! He is a former NBA Coach of the Year (2022) 2× NBCA Coach of the Year (2021, 2022) and was the NBA All-Star Game head coach (2022). The dude coached his previous team the Suns to an impressive 194-115 record in four seasons. The Suns reached the 2021 finals in his second season and won a franchise-record 64 games in his third. So now, after one season in Detroit with not much talent you fire him and pay him all that money to stay away?! That's crazy man!
