I remember watching this match back on Eurosports way back in the day.. Great match and glad to watch it again.. At that time Badr was almost at his peak while Sefo was towards the end of his career
He would never have beaten bada hari in his prime ...BH even got bigger after this and was a way better fighter..i have also seen Ray in fights long after this one still beating good fighters...but never Bada Hari
Just getting into K1 and Badr Hari has to be a guy I can always watch. His fights are always entertaining

That was the age when Badr was on his way to become the goat. He beat everybody right away, or in the rematch. Then came the day when he stomped Remy illegally. He wanted to beat him so bad, but he was disqualified. That broke his spirit and he never was the same again. From that day on, his career was on the decline. His unhinged mentality inside and outside of the ring cost him his career. The way he threw away his talent is such a tragedy. He was supposed to become the goat but ended an unkept promise. His career reminds me that of Mike Tyson’s in a sad way
Never was the same again after 2008 when he disqualified by remy? Dude 2009 was letteraly his year he knocked semmy schild out, he knocked zabit samedov, he knocked ruslan karaev out and he knocked alastair overeen out all of them in the first round. Further he knoked gokhan saki out in 2012 in the first round, in 2014 he knocked stefan leko and peter graham out also in the first round by a tournament, in 2015 he knocked ismail londt out and in 2019 he knocked rico verhoeven 2 times down but unfortunately he injured himself. Know the facts dude.

There were much stronger hitters than Badr in K-1. He has power, but nothing special. His strength is that he throws fast and throws combos and is quite rangy + combined with decent power makes it a dangerous combination. He is also quite aggressive and when he smells blood goes all-in, which back fired several times in his career.
also good accuracy of the hits, he throws the kick and it hits where he wants it to

2.when Sefo started to get cocky, he received the punishment, we can see the damage started at 7.19 after haris punch to the jaw
3. sefo commented on his loss as he didn't realize how tall badr is and the punches that he couldn't handle
