Very nice! Another great X-mas-tune: Deck the halls. Maybe for one of your next tutorials? Deck the halls in Lounge-Piano-style. Many regards from Germany!

Fantastic! Please let me know if anything is unclear or not fully explained. I want to keep things as clear and simple as possible while still creating wonderful music, of course.

Another great video. I’m curious about why the lounge style uses the scale’s first chord as a major 6 and the second chord as a dim 7? I’ve noticed that this is consistent throughout your videos regardless of the major scale used. Thanks.

It's just to simplify things. It's not that we only use two chords, but that you don't need anymore to sound good. They cover the whole scale and add tension and release. Again - all you need.

Just to be clear, there are 3 distinct melodies used on "Away in a Manger" depending on what hymnal you have.

Thank you. I didn't know the Mueller version, actually. I guess it can be used with alternative melodies as well. But this is the version I knew. Always nice to learn something new!
