There's something weird about the BC members. I saw them just walking around at a show once, and you could just tell by looking at them that they were all in Broken City.
Kenny Sper I like Pearl best because of my personal snare, but Yamaha and Ludwig are making better hardware innovations especially for tenors. They got rid of tenor spacers for less drilling, a flatter playing surface, and just bridged lugs together. I wish Pearl would get rid of j bars and do lug bridges instead of tenor spacers as well, but Yamaha is the gold standard until that day. 🤙
Stryke Percussion is half an hour away from me, and I had the privilege of watching them perform for the premier (be on the lookout for their show btw, it's nuts). Anyway I'd been doubtful of how the Ludwig drums sounded until I heard them live, and now I absolutely love them. I know half of it's the tuning but the snares were really crispy wetness wise, and the tenors project VERY well. I was loving it lol
Remember when taps used to be 3". Man, no wonder these guys play above their heads, piano dynamics start at like 6". Love the sound and feel, just miss dynamics...
I want everyone who's hyping twitch to go watch blue coats 2013 play twitch................... Bluecoats 2013 plays with such a better touch and sound, it sucks to see this exercise be ruined like this
When you make a group that plays like Broken City does... Then maybe I'll consider your opinion more seriously.. Support the current groups.. Don't talk shit on a group because you think something negative.
