Nipzzy Huzzle In 1991 I realized it (a year before breaking the record for my 1st time). I also have another set record that was done after this video. Even though I didn't really rap in "quad time" before then I did have previous experience rapping fast to up beat tempo tracks, which was more than practice enough and made doing this relatively simple. The different between rapping up beat tempo fast and spittin' in quad speed could be best demonstrated in this, an actually song that I made. (link at bottom) This whole rap is up beat tempo fast but at 1:33 I go quad speed for 13 secs. That is the difference in how I rap. I don't rap like how I am in this video though I can and have on occasions but I always prefer the traditional up beat speed over quad rappin' (or twisting) any day... Here is an analogy for those who are having a difficult time grasping such a simple concept. A NASCAR racers drives as fast as possible in an attempt at winning a race but I am sure that same racer does not drive in the same manner on public streets where a much different set of rules and regulations apply. No, didn't think so. I swear, I'd delete this video if I wasn't making money off of it like that. It distracts too many people from my true talents as a lyricist. I am not the Flash. I'm more like the Beyonder when it comes to lyricism. Me breaking these Guinness records was just something to do. One shouldn't dig too deep into it because although and can and do sometimes spit fast, it is probably the least favorite aspect of my skills.
Thanks man, I think they really need to listen to my other creations rather than just this. This sh!t is for the birds. I'd say something along the lines of my rhyme connecting ability would crush me breaking speed records in itself and connecting rhymes the way I do is just a small part of the bigger picture. Hell, I should have Guinness records for most rhymes in a single song :-D In my song Testify, I have over 40 perfectly back to back connecting rhymes in the 3rd verse alone and that is from just one portion of that verse.
I think it's funny how people react to this video. I did this in 1998 and I have another one before this one from 1992 . My third one is from 2007 in which no one has officially broken as of yet. Most people act like this is new. This shit is old. Just look at the quality of the footage lol.

True lyric lovers will feel me 100% on this and if you know what makes lyrics dope, then you will definitely see what I'm saying. However, if you think that Drake or Lil Wayne is cold, then stick with them, because I am definitively wayyyy out of your league lyrically. Now fame and money wise, it's a different story and they easily win that battle, hands down. But, I'm not boasting about fame and money. I am boasting on skills and talent, which I have uncanny amounts of. I can't keep it any more realistic than that.

In 1991 I realized it (a year before breaking the record for my 1st time). I also have another set record that was done after this video.
Even though I didn't really rap in "quad time" before then I did have previous experience rapping fast to up beat tempo tracks, which was more than practice enough and made doing this relatively simple.
The different between rapping up beat tempo fast and spittin' in quad speed could be best demonstrated in this, an actually song that I made. (link at bottom)
This whole rap is up beat tempo fast but at 1:33 I go quad speed for 13 secs. That is the difference in how I rap. I don't rap like how I am in this video though I can and have on occasions but I always prefer the traditional up beat speed over quad rappin' (or twisting) any day... I can't stress enough that my extreme speed is mainly for Guinness records only. Sure, I have been known to cut lose every now and then on a song with speed and an exponential amount of depth and skill when compared to this straight forward (simple) Guinness rap but extreme speed definitely isn't what's most important to me. I am a lyricist and my main focus is and has always been on punchlines, metaphors, (SUPER) multiple rhyme connections, (unorthodox) rhyme scheme patterns and such. Also, for those who may not know, the XD in my name is NOT a smiley face. It is an X and a D - for Extremely Dope. Just to show that I had Rebel XD, way before anyone has seen it on the internet as the word "rebel", followed by a smiley face, one of the biggest and first publications of my name was in 1993 - for the first time I broke the Guinness record for speed. I've been Rebel XD since 1988 and no I am NOT 60 as some may have jokingly suggested. I am (a very good looking, might I add:-) 42 year old as off yesterday (June 6th) and my skills are better than ever and still improving. This song here is a great example of my true flow and production style. Because really, this extreme speed shit is really over hyped to me, it has been old and it's never really been a big deal to or for me. All of my songs display skills and talents as a direct result of my upbringing in that era and will always reflect the feel of that time's creative vibrations. I am foreign to this new generation and I don't understand it at all. The downgrade in mental thinking, creativity, originality and just about everything else is utterly unbelievable to me. Most of your favorite rappers of today's gen wouldn't have lasted a week in my era - if based on attributes and unique skill set of each particular generation's expectations. I truly don't understand most of today's music. I do however, understand the ways of the old dimension and consider my creative flow to draw it's energy from what I call "the ancient realm", what other may refer to as the Akashic records... My music to me is like remnants that serves as reminders as to where I am from. I've been fighting myself on whether I want to continue on creating and sharing my work. Here is an analogy for those who are having a difficult time grasping such a simple concept. A NASCAR racers drives as fast as possible in an attempt at winning a race but I am sure that same racer does not drive in the same manner on public streets where a much different set of rules and regulations apply. To all of the mentally less fortunate who comes by and says things like "He raps fast but no one can understand him" I say this, if that NASCAR racer drove at city limit speeds on the race track, would he stand a chance at winning the race? No, didn't think so. So if I am rapping to break a record and it sounded like something you would easily pick up on and sing along with, do you think it would qualify as a record for something such as world's fastest rapper? Of course not and just like that NASCAR racer, I too drive outside of the race track. I have plenty songs which if a lot of you took the time to do something as simple as click on the icon to get to my main channel's page would realize. There are many layers to my talent and skill set. Breaking and claiming 3 Guinness record titles is just something I did while passing through this endless hip hop journey. Truth be told, I have no real interest in even rapping at such speeds (well maybe sometimes but rarely) and did it only simple because I could.

I'd say something along the lines of my rhyme connecting ability would crush me breaking speed records in itself and connecting rhymes the way I do is just a small part of the bigger picture. Do me and yourselves a favor. Don't just come here and judge what I do based on these speed records that I have broken and set. I did that shit for fun. I have real material here on my channel and I HATE the fact that people come here for this tired ass speed shit and then paint this picture of me being a chopper, when there are so many layers to me as a lyricist. The fact that I am genius level when it comes to lyrics is the reason that I am able to do this speed shit in the first place but it is NOT my favorite quality when it comes to lyrics and not even close to being. I do it so easily because it is a verbal concept more so than a skill and I understand this all too perfectly. I hate being compared to speed rappers. When I broke the record 3 times, on all counts it was just to be a slap in the face, not to be hailed as the world's fastest rapper. Titles are beneath me. I've done it and I'm done with it. Hell, if the guy who broke my record in 2005 didn't run his mouths about it afterwards, I would have let him keep it, but he talked shit about it and so now I have a 3rd title instead of just two, because of it. If you want to compare me to anyone, let it be based on actually lyrics skills and not speed. Anyone can do this shit. True lyric lovers will feel me 100% on this and if you know what makes lyrics dope, then you will definitely see what I'm saying. However, if you think that Drake or Lil Wayne is cold, then stick with them, because I am definitively wayyyy out of your league lyrically. Now fame and money wise, it's a different story and they easily win that battle, hands down. But, I'm not boasting about fame and money. I am boasting on skills and talent, which I have uncanny amounts of. I can't keep it any more realistic than that.
