My advice for tucking a shirt well 1. No disrespect and to each their own but, In my opinion, this shirt is too big for this guy, at least this look. Go and try on shirts at any store. you don’t need to buy one there, just find just find your collar size (usually measured in inches or centimetres) and your fit (skinny, slim, regular etc.) 2. Avoid cheap quality shirts. If you get a 100% cotton or silk shirt for ~$60, you can even take it to a tailor to get it perfectly fitted. They will refuse to work with cheap polyester shirts. 3. As someone in the Royal Navy, I couldn’t agree with the USMC boys in the comments more! Shirt stays were my best friend in school when I was having to wear badly fitted polyester shirts every day. A truly sized shirt will always look better (and it won’t need shirt stays to stay tucked) but this is a massive improvement if you can’t get expensive fitted shirts. PS. To anyone still in a uniformed school, I always wish I had invested in some proper shirts. You’ll feel much more confident looking that sharp and your teachers will take you much more seriously and be more inclined to help you if you look the part.

Pay a tailor a few bucks to take in the sides. Way less effort in the long run.
