I suggest (sorry for being three years late that's my thing I guess) if you like the music but not the voice in this, try the not live version, because it's more edited. And maybe some other songs. (Also sorry again for being three years late)
Ray Lucker they definitely play around with their stuff a lot more live. the big thing they do live isn't so much with the tempo as it is with rhythm. The stuff on the album is mostly straight, but live they tend to syncopate a TON of stuff both in the background instrumentals and with the vocals. Even after seeing them three times, I never quite get used to their live renditions of stuff.

They don't do synching (not syncing) on Later.
