Why Multicultural Pluralism Fails & What to Build Instead with Dr. Stephen Wolfe

- We've been raised to believe multicultural globalism (and pluralism) is a great thing that we should all vehemently champion, but Dr. Stephen Wolfe talks at the 2024 New Christendom Press Conference about why diversity isn't our strength, but is destroying America. Likewise, he addresses the value of WASP culture-what it is, how it shaped America, and why it is the lone bulwark against cultural insanity.
Thanks for sharing your labors with us, Dr. Wolfe. An honor to have you in Ogden.
This blew my mind. I have never thought about multiculturalism like this. Thank you for breaking the spell!
This puts words to a deep sadness I have about my country.
This is why New Christendom Press is so badly needed, and your work is appreciated-an organization standing for Christ, Masculinity, and the true American nation.
Thank you, and God bless you.
Unbelievably encouraging that there is a space for talks like this among Christians. God bless Ogden!
Thank you, Jordan! Glad to facilitate these kinds of conversations.
This is so incredible. THIS is the battlefield. Plain and simple. They want our children gone. Literally. We are a huge problem for our current rulers, though the panel discussion will deny this, it is overwhelmingly true, and sadly this ruling class has wanted us gone for thousands of years. Ask Barbara Spectre. Think about what she’s saying.
Thank you, Dr. Wolfe.
Substantive critique of multiculturalism
Thank you Dr. Wolfe
We are our own IN group's OUT group.
Excellent talk.
Paul Gottfried's "Multiculturalism and the Politics of Guilt" was a real eye opener. He does a great job showing how the protestant church was co-opted in order to bring about the "managerial therapeutic state" that Wolfe has described succinctly. It's good to hear Dr. Gottfried being cited more and more.
Who did the co-opting?
@@basedincali8707abolitionists, then the progressives, then new dealers.
@@dentonbc so the Jews, got it.
@@dentonbcI wonder what the common denominator is between these ideological groups.
Great talk! I am a European married to an American living in the US. My people are God’s people but culture and upbringing matters. God brought us together, yet there are challenges that couples from similar background don’t face even though we have A LOT in common, starting with Christ, theology, politics and worldview. No one can tell me that throwing a bunch of people from all over with nothing essential in common in a shared space can lead to functioning, harmonious and thriving society.
Also, I am very grateful that the tendencies of Roman Catholics to welfare state were mentioned. It’s the Protestant foundation that’s essential to America. We pray for Mr. Wolfe and his family regularly.
He was so real for this
9 hours in and Dr. Wolf is double the views of the rest of the talks 😂 all the hate watchers are talking notes
Lol 3.5k vs 1k and a few comments on twitter. This isn’t making nearly the buzz and controversy everyone wishes it is.
@@SlamDunkerDonkeywhy are you gay?
99% of people, for the most part, have no idea who or what this is about. This is only a tiny group doing their theological version of rapture escapism.
@@theocratickingdom30 It’s hard to describe how dumb your comment is.
@@theocratickingdom30 You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about if you think this has anything to do with "rapture escapism." Who care's if this group is not in the majority? Societal and cultural change never happens based on the will of the masses. True change happens because a small group of highly motivated and capable men make it happen.
We are so back
Fantastic speech
Based.
Very good points!
I've been aware of these facts for 20 years but I've never seen a more deft explanation of the core issues. The 'ingroup as outgroup' description is both new to me and an impressive shorthand for a key concept. Truly excellent work, it's a great joy to see these things being spoken of with increasing frequency. If had one criticism it's that the end part of the speech where Clarence Thomas is referenced needs to be more explicit.
It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come. I remember hanging out with you in youth group and at church back in the day. I love your thorough and engaging presentation!
Still thinking about this a week later. Especially that ending.
1:04:25 what a powerful ending
Shots fired baby- into the frea boys into the frea 💪
I would buy Stephen Wolfe's book, but it is not available as a ebook on Barnes and Noble.
is there any place on this planet where you can have a majority white nation?
We used to have them for the majority of human history. Of course we should still be able to have them.
Poland is still majority white I think
Wow.... Some white folks are getting rather nervous about the show being on the other foot, as it were....😅
Not Billy Graham.
Concerning. Troubling.
Based
Ulster Scot here (JD Vance is my people), just to point out that while there’s things I love about my people, we’re just a huge mess, and I’m pretty sure we bring about as much baggage to the American cultural landscape as any non-European group ever has 😂
We were (kind of still are) wild, semi-tribal white English people, not fully Christianized, who have assimilated quite a bit with the English and the Germans, which has somewhat mitigated our cray-cray 😂. People groups change and meld throughout history. Yes, it’s fraught, and we’ve got to be aware of that and be cautious, but it would not be a bad thing (in the abstract) if future Americans are all light brown (or whatever hue), as long as we are good, God-fearing people (we agree on that).
Just to clarify, I basically agree with you- I think you basically agree with me. But I do this there is an over-focus on this issue in this particular group (obviously not in the mainstream, where problems like this are never acknowledged). Truth is very precise though, even in its priorities
Sounds like Stephen Wolfe has been reading American Renaissance.
American Renaissance is excellent, but it lacks even a hint of Christianity, unfortunately.
@@christopherlees1134 It is true that American Renaissance emphasizes race over Christianity, but occasionally they promote Christianity as part of the West. My view is that race and Christianity are both important. Here is an example why... 69% of Black evangelical Christians voted for Biden. 73% of white evangelical Christians voted for Trump. 19% of Black evangelical Christians voted for Trump. 18% of white evangelical Christians voted for Biden. Their voting patterns were 180 degrees opposite. The difference was race, not Christianity.
epic epic and i'm not even a thomist
That Dr. Wolfe, such a scary guy! Lol
Maybe you guys should have stayed in Europe, then you wouldn’t have to worry about multiculturalism. 🤣🤣
That kid in the background of all of these videos was not a happy camper! Quite distracting for this adhd kid. Lol
Christianity does not teach "WASP Culture".
Despite the benefits of Greek and Roman civilization. It's important to note that Jesus and his disciples were Mideast Judeans whose nation historically underwent persecution by Greek and Roman (European) civilizations. Jesus was nailed to a Roman cross by a Roman procurator.
The disciples and apostles preached to ALL NATIONS in the Great Commission.
Paul proclaims, there is neither Greek nor Jew, but all are one in Jesus Christ.
You can make an argument against Islamic society or against criminal ELEMENTS of some societies, INCLUDING WASP society.
But you can't rightly use Christianity to argue for WASP culture against Christian Arabs, Christian Mexicans per se.
Peace.
What his saying is that Christian Arabs should and Christian Mexicans have their own nations to live in
This video is teaching a nation of "WASP culture."
WASP = "White Anglo Saxon Protestant."
So if you are do not have "White Anglo Saxon Protestant" culture, America is not for you.
Sorry, but Jesus taught "Christianity," not "Political Protestantism".
The American founders taught democracy.
They did not teach a "WASP America."
This is not Christianity or Democracy.
Maryland was a Catholic colony.
Louisiana was predominantly French and Catholic.
NY was Dutch.
@@goldberg7019
Are you "WASP White AngloSaxon Protestant?"
Historically American Catholics, Jews, Irish, Italians, Germans wanted America to be a tolerant society instead of dedicated to 1 race 1ethnicity 1 religion.

This is cool. You guys should be free to meet up, have conferences and write books. But please - don’t call it Christianity.
Funny thing: the very next video I watched following this one was a Shane Claiborne talk given about 12 years ago at Biola. The irony here is that you guys are in the same religion as Shane - you just have an opposite take. Neither of you is promoting biblical Christianity, but you are both attempting to exploit a semblance of Christianity to convince your listeners of your respective positions.
