You are in my opinion the most accurate in your review in the super star GG sneaker. Everyone else I’ve seen only says all the great things about them. But I’m my opinion they have more bad than good. I just bought my first pair and have already exchanged them 1 time and going to have to exchange them a 2nd time because like you said for one they are not comfortable as one would expect from such an expensive sneaker. Another and definitely number 1 problem with this sneaker is they don’t have half sizes and my feet is exactly the half size the shoe doesn’t make. I tried the half size up and would come out from my heel then exchanged them for a smaller size and fit too tight and that’s wear I’m at now. Need to go in again and exchange them most likely for the bigger size again and see how to wear them so my feet doesn’t slip out, I was excited to wear them without tieing them but obviously and unfortunately won’t be able too due to the shoe being half a size bigger. And finally I would think if you pay that much money for a sneaker why not make half sizes that way the sneaker would fit not only better but also more custom made and there for a lot more comfortable. And I heard you say buy a new sole to fit more comfortable and I feel why would we need to pay more to adjust comfort when we are already paying a big price tag they should come ready to enjoy without any issues especially the ones mentioned previously. There for my review is too much money for what you get yes they look cute and go with most everything BUT should they just look good and not be too comfortable and have the option of half a size for maximum comfort and convenience for the price tag?

To be honest, I will never purchase another pair of this brand because I don’t think they’re as great as so many people say. The reason I did this review was because I kept hearing about how wonderful these shoes are, and when I got them, it was not the truth. After doing my own homework, I started reading other blogs and reviews, and it sounds like most people feel this way, but they’re willing to pay so much money just for the brand. This reminds me of the Christian Louboutin‘s, initially I was so excited to buy them and so happy to have red bottom shoes but after wearing them a few times, I realized they are awful. I have never found a pair that are comfortable to walk in. They literally sit on my shelf and I’ve even considered selling them. I really appreciate your candidness.

Apart from the fit, meterials also play a role in comfort. The Stardan version i’ve bought had a soft nappa leather different from the standard harder cow leather, and it felt even more comfortable to me.
I just bought the super star in gold and i asked them ti customized it for me and it turns out really pretty and it is so comfy this is my first pair ❤❤❤ i would love to buy a second pair sometime this year 🎉

Thanks so much for this review--been waiting to hear if you finally broke in the superstars. I actually travelled back home to Los Angeles in the meantime and was able to try them on in person in the GG boutique since I was still on the fence about them. I'm so glad I did! I totally agree--they were super uncomfortable on me too! I was not expecting that based on most reviews I watched! I figured if they felt that uncomfortable in store, I would not enjoy breaking them in. Also no one ever mentions that on the interior side of the shoes, they don't mold inward like normal sneakers and they are sort of straight and bulky looking. That was the deciding factor for me that I didn't like how they looked on my feet. I'm also a 6.5 and tried on both 6 and 7 in superstars and ballstars. The 6 fit better for both models on me. But, they still seemed to be an odd fit that didn't feel quite right. That's the issue with European shoes that don't carry half sizes I guess. I agree about dirty shoe laces and was looking into the same laces you got to replace them! Ha ha! In the end, I decided I need to keep looking for a different brand that might feel like a better fit. I really like the look of Christian Dior Walk 'n' sneakers but have not tried those on yet. Still on the hunt for the perfect designer sneakers but will stick to my functional On Running sneakers in the meantime :) Thanks again!!

Hi there! I went to Europe for a month and wore the stardans everyday! Super comfortable with bombas socks but I have to wear really thin socks with my super stars. Happy travels

i have the superstar ones and wear them in clinic/date night/etc, very cute and it fits my orthotic very well! definitely not suitable for long walks though

Ball Star is the best tho, but not Super star cuz they got short toe box. All Golden goose shoes got get 1/2 or next size up. Italian shoes run small from my experience.
Haha. I thought the same thing. I bought the shoes that look more clean as I wasn’t into the super dirty look. These look decent. As for dressing them up, well they are more casual shoes so I wear jeans, shirts, skirts, etc. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.😊
