@@thematthewkent cause he came in as a freshman when tebow was already a Heisman winner. Also tebow red shirted his freshman year too my guy. Cam was supposed to take over from tebow and keep the run going but had to leave cause of the laptop incident
@@willardmatsaudza3101 that's not true. When Cam got to UF Tebow had never started a game. Cam did beat out John Brantley to become the backup, which is something. But even though everyone in Gainesville was excited about Tebow that year (myself very much included), Tim Tebow definitely wasn't Tim Tebow yet at the start of 2007 when he became the starter. Also, Tebow never red shirted. He was a true freshman in 2006 and a true sophomore in 2007. He used up his eligibility in 2009
@@thematthewkent but tebow has been at Florida the year before learning the offense etc and when cam came as a freshman tebow was in his 2nd year ready to take over I forgot tebow won the Heisman cams first year. But at that how was cam supposed to beat tebow out who had been there and learned the offfense and also was an absolute baller no one is taking that spot from tebow as a freshman, so you saying he was his back doesn’t prove anything as cam was a freshman. It’s not like both where in their first year and tebow beat him out. Plus We all know cam was a better player than tebow his nfl career is proof enough.
Tim Tebow no matter what happened in the NFL was really fun to watch in College. Also the Sec on CBS is awesome and it will suck to see it go.

Tebow was one of the best college QB's of all time. But his throwing mechanics were far from ideal.
Still love the sportsmanship in these 'pro' college games. Scores and simply puts the ball on the ground and runs back to the sideline. No stupid spike or excessive celebration. Just good, clean, hard football. There's some handclaps and chest bumps AFTER he's off the field.

Weird how nowadays Tebow would've been a 3* QB outta high school. Talent was way more spread out back during this time than it is nowadays. Ark and Kentucky beat LSU tho LSU dominated the NC game. Last year Tenn won the East as well and they got spanked 41-14 to Bama in Saban's 1st year.(RTR) IMO UGA probably ended the season as the "hottest" team and prob would've beaten LSU.
