Hi, Jonathan. You may never get to read this, but I would like to say thank you. My son started out on Octonauts (a children's show about under sea creatures/adventures as you may or may not know) a few years ago. Last year, I/we were fortunate enough to discover your channel on RUclips. Now he is 5 and can practically quote many of your videos... especially the ones about sharks!!! :) He loves anything ocean-related. We live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Your last couple videos have featured Florida. He gets extra excited over that! Best regards, The Knights

13:21 Cameraman Tim getting attacked by the angry Sergeant Major is the funniest thing I've seen all day 🤣. Brave fish is determined to put up a fight to protect its future despite the obvious size difference. 🐠
I could really feel the excitement he felt when he first got to it... I'm studying marine biology and I'm including scuba as part of my skillset so with enough luck and persistence, maybe I'll get to do something in a sea base like this... Thanks for sharing your blue world with us Jonathan, it's always a pleasure!
I remember when I would take a bath when I was like 5 I used a bucket and when I put it upside down there would still be air in it even when it was underwater so I thought that you could stay underwater forever if you went in the bucket XD
Awright Jonathan! My 6-y/o bairn has been a fan of yours for a few years now. He was telling me all about Aquarius earlier. This updated episode is great. Keep it up! Much appreciation from the Scottish Highlands.🇽🇸👍
I had to google bairn. I thought maybe that was his/her name...only to discover this is a Scottish name for a child. Learn something everyday!! Given my Scottish heritage, you would think I would know that!
@@BlueWorldTV Hah! Nah my lad's an Alexander same as me. Wait till I tell him you replied. Cheers! 👍 EDIT: The alternative to 'bairn' here is usually 'wean'.
Found you late as a new subscriber, but didn’t feel regret cuz it’s never too late to find an awesome diver and friendly person like you who’s doing this with true love. What an amazing passion that I admire. You’re so good at on what you doing, keep diving and rolling that camera and most importantly stay alive to deliver amazing knowledgeable videos like this. 🙏❤️🔥🙏
Fishes guarding eggs: ok guys, we have eggs to protect how do we defend them from the sea monkeys? Uhhh, well, what do they have that we don’t? Hair Ok. Then that’s their week spot definitely. Yup. Attack that. Sure thing boss
Magnificent! Kudos for all the divers down the deep sea for studying and researching all life forms underwater. Thanks blue world for sharing. God creation is exceptional. Humans and other life forms in the whole universe.
I’ve learned so much from this channel. Like I had no idea sharks are afraid of bubbles so if you want them to come close to you (to film) you need a rebreather. I have been terrified of sharks my entire life so to find out a shark is scared of bubbles is just insane.
My birthday was a few days back and I got to get a intro into scuba diving, it was awesome I've never had such a experience even though I was looking only at a pool wall Jonathan inspired me too scuba dive and in the next couple of years I am going to Belize and in my future I would love to be a marine biologist.
Awe watching Jonathan Bird is an addiction or what...an underwater laboratory, that's amazing. Jonathan you covered the story so perfectly... love you for the kind of work you do. You're the best.
First time watch of this video. Among all the others I've seen, and ones I haven't. You never fail to intrigue me. When your moving, I feel like, I am the camera man, filming subject matter, and wishing I was there. Color, and a home for the fish at the station. Love that Black fish, that was mad, and giving a kiss of warfare, because of the growth of new family, out side the station. Interesting the depth evaluation and regulating air per level met. I have never been in reality, on any diving, in the flesh, off these once in a life time experience spots. Turning 65 on 11/15/54. OOPS! Sorry, to much information. The date of reply 11/09/2019 I forget this is 3 1/2 years ago, post from you. I really should say that thru your video's I have experience what life is like, and loving it in your Blue World. Thank You Sir! I too, right now, am washing out my eyes from the saline solution. Which is produce when brought to tears.
I love how jonathan said those things near the opening of video position of him starting near the window of center of that aqua reef room or something.
+Ice Bear Well should be capitalized. Also, you forgot a period. Don't tell people how to spell if you don't know basic capitalization and punctuation.
I've felt that this platform needs to be installed in one of the very remarkable locations where marine life is absolutely crazy with diversity. That said, they are usually remote and that would raise the costs of the mission possibly. The prices would be varying, some would be much lower, others much higher, dependent on its location and the prices of that country. Occasionally I see groups like this stipulating that the research be done in a US territory. Not sure if there are any of the remarkable locations I've seen which are US territory.
I had never heard of this compound before! Very interesting as we hear a lot of ISS and before that MIR in the media but it is silent about this place. Very interesting.
