That first dive was incredible! You saw almost everything you could've hoped for on that dive. I loved how everywhere you went the grouper was right there behind you checking everything out lol
Please keep in mind that we didn't get ALL that on one dive. There isn't enough time in a dive. We combine multiple dives into one "dive" because nobody wants to see us going in and out of the water 5 times.
I remember when I was a kid back in the early 2000s, I read this book about sharks that introduced nurse sharks with the sentence "You wouldn't have one of these taking care of you in the hospital in your wildest dreams." Funnily enough, I recently found out that the Aquarium in Atlanta lets veterans who were medically discharged dive in their giant shark tank for free, and that the Soldier Rehabilitation Center here at Fort Benning occasionally has their patients take trips up to Atlanta to swim with, and possibly even feed and pet (I'm not sure how true that part is), their sharks. So shark therapy for those with trauma, depression, and anxiety is in fact a thing.
I really like you telling how the fish interacted with you. I often find that fish will interact with me and are curious when I am snorkelling in fresh water. There is a lot more to fish than most people think!
This must indeed be one of the best scuba places on the planet, for all you mentioned: especially the clearest water, very healthy reefs, and the associated diversity of life! Let's hope all divers and Belizians contribute to the continuation of such a precious spot on Earth. What a way to be able to enjoy this from my home, having the Blue World team as companions with their humor, their expert knowledge, video editing and music, and enthusiasm all around. Thank you all!
Love your videos. The longer the video went on, the more desperate I was to see Norman! Lol. Lighthouse Reef looks AMAZING. I enjoy everyone of your videos. Thankyou for sharing it with us.
I can't stand not doing this. I've been to Belize and the snorkeling memories consume me sometimes. I actually miss the stingray that played with me. I'd swim down and flip over and the ray would swim right over me every time and follow me around. Very awesome video again BlueWorldTV!
Came for sharkies, stayed for everything!!! So much variety in those two dives. Loved the ray, Caribbean Reef Shark, turtle, toadfish, Norman & his friend, & of course cheeky Rupert the grouper, but everything was amazing to see
This is so awesome, thank you for coming down and checking out Belize, there’s tons of great dive spots here, central americas best kept secret really does have something for for everyone, loved the video
I went Diving at lighthouse reef in Belize about a week ago and I swear I saw the same grouper you saw. Our dive master even gave it a kiss lol. But yeah that grouper just comes right up to you .
Wonderful video! Wonderful sealife too! Looks like the grouper wanted to be invited along! It seems Rupert the Grouper has claimed that reef for his own!
Great to see your content moving out of the US again and into more 'accessible' reef diving overseas - presumably because we're now getting footage of post-lockdown travels! More sharks please!! Love your channel!
We actually were traveling internationally extensively during COVID on a project for a client, so no Blue World episodes came out of it. Now we are just getting back to doing some travel for Blue World.
Finally one of Belize. My son loves watching your shows. He wishes to have meet u. He messaged you via facebook once and when you replied he was excited. He told you about the Blue Hole
Awesome video, Jonathan, thank you and your support for yet another great story. Belize was also on my list of the dive destinations to visit. But, thanks to your footage, the place jumped to the top of my roster. Hope, to visit Belize soon. Thanks again. Cheers
The amount of fascinating creatures to see in such a small patch of the ocean is simply staggering. I'm so jealous of what you do. I don't know if it is something I can afford to go do myself but I thank you for bringing such amazing wonder to my screen. 🙏
Interesting about that grouper. I find that bass behave very much the same way. Curious fish. I remember once jumping in the water only to have a spherical wall of bass all staring right at me.
wow. nice places to go diving. thanks for everything. camera light was fancy. as long with all the sensible experience charted interestingly enough. you folks got some really good footage of the area creatures. I notice there were even small eco systems if you take a look closer I'm am sure. thanks for feeding the fishes on each visit♥️
Outstanding spot for giving. Great clip but the only draw back is the monsoon has started in my necks of the waters so no diving for the next 4 1/2 months. Can't wait for the rainy season to pass.
HEY JONATHAN! I was waiting until you had a new video out. I just got back from grand cayman and South Africa and the diving in both places were amazing. Tyler and Mel from Sunset House told me to say hi to you and they hoped you would be back soon. Although I did wonder one thing from this video, what happened to your Forcefins? Anyways, I am glad I am seeing your newest videos and hope one day I would be able to run into you and go diving with you, as with my family. Thanks for the AMAZING videos!
Great video! I loved the huge variety of species and the info on each one. Amazing adaptations they have (10:53, it's practically flying). Videos like these make me think of all the millions of species that must have ever existed on Earth in the long past, many of which we'll never find out about.
I was free diving in Southern California where I live, and a sea bass followed me 300 meters down the beach. I could tell it was the same fish because it had a piece of sea grass sticking out of its mouth.
I have made over 500 logged dives, mostly in the Caribbean. What an incredibly active and diverse reef this is! It would take 50 dives elsewhere to see all the life at this site!
Keep in mind that our episodes are often compilations of several dives. This episode was a compilation of several days on the liveaboard. We didn't see all this stuff in one dive.
Amazing videography and beautiful story telling as always BlueWorld Team! Ive been in love with this channel for quite a while now. I think I can speak for the whole community please keep it up!
This is such a fantastic video! I love the views of almost everything you saw! The Blue Would is truly a beautiful place that is often underestimated or overlooked. I got my SCUBA certification about 6-7 year ago, and one day hope to dive in a reef site like this! It's truly another world! The cinematography, along with the edited music is just... it really makes it even MORE pretty! Thanks for all that you do! 11:47 Is that a different Grouper? It looks like a different color? I feel like Rupert is like the coral reef's security guard with how often he checked you out. LOL
I get a notification for a new BlueWorldTV episode, I hit the LIKE button before I even start the video! Such a great episode though, so many amazing shots and I learned something new, as always; namely that the Cucumber sponge breathes through its butt.
Hi Jonathan! I'm glad you're back having tropical adventures. Rupert seemed almost as friendly as Gene the wolffish. How is Gene, by the way? Great job as always!
Awesome episode! I've barely came back from my diving vacation and I already envy you guys for being in the water. Also lol at the modern transmitter attached to an old school regulator 1:48.
It's a double hose (which is an older style reg) but it's actually a new regulator. Vintage Doublehose in Florida builds them. They are modern construction.
@@BlueWorldTV Oh I am aware, it's just a pretty funny look when you have such a vintage looking regulator with that kind of modern piece of equipment attached to it :)) Great video as always Jonathan!

Thank you!! 😊
I love that Rubert just casually appears to investigate your dive every now and then. He's so cute!

Please keep in mind that we didn't get ALL that on one dive. There isn't enough time in a dive. We combine multiple dives into one "dive" because nobody wants to see us going in and out of the water 5 times.

shark therapy is also effective virtually, can confirm!
Woah, that’s so awesome! Thanks for telling us! I live right by the Georgia aquarium, too, and now I want to go back. 💚🙏
This is wonderful information and a good thing for the veterans. Thanks for sharing it.

The fish and Norman were so gentle🥰! The reef and water looks amazing, another wonderful episode!😀
OH wow that was fantastic! I wonder what Rupert is doing right now...
Beautiful dive! Love Norman, but I think the grouper is more fun to hang out with 😆
I totally agree!

I just showed this episode to my whole family and they loved it. My dad really wants to go to Belize now lol
That "cave" scene on 11:23 was astonishing!! What a perfect reef! and enough light to see the colors!
