Fantastic video of the Bulleid Gala Oliver 👍👍 These are my favourite Southern express locomotive and I’m a member of the group as well one of the four Bulleid locos that they own and that is 257 Squadron as that along with Sir Keith Park are resident at the Spa Valley Railway.
Lovely footage mate that’s my favourite heritage railway and if u didn’t know Bahamas is doing a railtour from Swanage to Bristol next Saturday

Hey Oliver, was nice to meet you in the observation car. It’s nice to see people who are still enthusiastic about steam as it seems to be a dying trend in the modern generation everyone’s all about diesels. As a volunteer all I can say is how much we appreciate you and your content and how it’s engaging with the younger generation showing them what more there is to railways than diesels. I went to swanage on the last day and had a overnight between Saturday and Sunday. It was… an experience to say.
I am very confused because lazerjet said he 2ould post this video on Monday put he posted it on Saturday yesterday or Sunday today

To be honest they don’t slip that much at all, in fact I only remember seeing one engine slip all weekend, 257 squadron on the first journey up from frome on Friday, of which I was at the front window for, also the journey I’m referring to was the one you set the timestamp to
@ SouthernReigionProductions (by the way I am the same person who originally wrote this comment) It is cool that you were on the same train as Oliver. Also the rare slippage makes sense, it really damages the track and loco, Bullied Pacifics are apparently just more "slip happy", I'm not saying that it's common
I was at Swanage about 3 days ago, and Manston was pulling out of Swanage and it slipped
