I used to own a 1997 hardbody. That thing was indestructable and also cheap and easy to wrench on. I miss it. I own a 2013 frontier, hopefully it lasts just as long.

@@ArthurClemons the official word is that you absolutely need shocks at all four corners… but if you went for a ride in this truck you’d never know it doesn’t have them up front.
@@ArthurClemons we used a Slam Specialties SS-6 bag. They have about 6-7” of travel on this front suspension- I can measure exactly when the truck comes back in next month
Nice man! This video is great! Love the detail!! I have a 95 Nissan King cab Hardbody and I bagged the front about wow 2 years ago. I have been wanting to do the back but I don’t want to move the fuel tank to the back of the frame like so many do. I have been looking for a way to do it. I am interested in the rear kit for this. I want to no =t have to cut the bed but the longer I think about it the more Im thinking “screw it” just cut it. The front I did a RohdeFab front LCA triangulation kit. Best kit on the market for the hardbody’s. It gets rid of the tension rods. I did have to cut the front wheel tubs and make my own. And I also got a 95 Geo Metro brake booster which is much smaller.
@@DinasGarage nice! I was really happy with how the rear suspension turned out- it drives great at around 50psi, with about 90-95 in the front. I was prepared to triangulate the front if it needed it, but with the drop spindles we didn’t see any binding with the factory setup. If you’d like to do the same thing we did in the rear, send an email my way and I’ll get a parts list together for you- phil@twistedimages.com

Nicely done! There is a ton of work in this 1 video! I was considering buying those drop spindles, but it looks like the bump stops don't line up with a arms. Is that an issue with those knuckles?
@@NissanNut74 you’re talking about the steering stops? We cut them down on the new arms to prevent rubbing on the bags, but otherwise I believe they’d hit the stops at full lock.

@@adamrensch8971 absolutely! I won’t have the truck back here until late next month when the new wheels are done, but basically you have two lines running to the valve from the front of the truck. Behind the passenger front suspension, you’ll find a three-way tee that connects the front brakes to the rears- disconnect the line that runs to the rear from that tee and plug it off. The other brake line that runs to the back can be connected to the brake hose that goes to the axle, and the rest of that valve assembly can be tossed! I hope that helps!
