By the sound of things, the police aren't doing much for you
1. Hire a private detective - someone who is highly recommended
2. Definitely get the bodyguard - ensure is it someone recommended and has a clean record, someone you can definitely trust
3. Never stay alone in your house at night or during the day - you are at your weakest when you are alone and your stalker knows this
4. Call the police if you ever even slightly feel uncomfortable in your house or if you think there is someone in there, trust your instincts
5. HAVE YOUR WHOLE HOUSE SEARCHED FOR DNA! THAT SMILEY FACE COULD'VE BEEN THE EVIDENCE YOU NEEDED, BE SMART ABOUT EVERY ACTION YOU TAKE

Tana, my whole church is praying for you. My dad is the pastor and he mentions you at the end of every service on Sunday and include you in our prayer time. This is unbearable to see you, a brilliant girl, go through something this sickeningly awful and all I can do is sit on my couch, pray, tell everyone I know about this, and watch your videos. Don't live your life on the thought that you can die any second. Instead, live your life thinking that you've come this far and you can get through this. I definitely started crying with you Tana. Anyone would be terrified in your situation. I'm glad your finally getting a security system also I suggest you get a HIGHLY TRAINED SECURITY DOG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! Wether a pitbull, German Shepard, or Rot. I also suggest you start taking self defense classes and idk if your for guns or not but if you are I would go to the range and get registered. Get pepper spray for you and all the girls in your house a lot of teasers. Carry one or the other at all times. Also HIRE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR!! Why don't you hire a private detective? You know his name and who he is. The investigator can follow him around, catch him stalking you or something shady in the act. Then you'll have the proof you need to prosecute him.
Also, I hope the security system comes with cameras. That would tell you if he ever comes inside. Especially in your bedroom point towards the door so it's not filming anything you don't want filmed but you can see if he enters.

Another idea would be a sort of trap. Some creeps kept trying to break into our truck so my husband made a sort of trap with a clothes pin, some fishing line & a firecracker. If the creep walked past the line it would set off the firecracker scaring him & alerting us. The key is making sure it's on a hair trigger so it goes off easily. He learned how to make it on here.
That stuff so terrifying. I get scared for you Tana. I pray for you all the time. It's so frustrating because he does little things that he couldn't get arrested for but so you still know he is around and that is so scary. They don't work, studies actually show they don't make us safer. A lady I spoke to before had been going to self defense classes and had asked her husband to randomly jump out at her around the house so she could practice haha. He jumped out one day on the wrong side of her and she couldn't defend herself the same because the class had only taught her to do the 'moves' for the right side of her body, so if anyone was on her left she was screwed. Also it gives people a false sense of safety so they think they can take on their attackers when they actually can't :/

WhoaaNellyy I think that is more plausible than a stalker. What I don't get is why she hasn't invested in a alarm system with sensors that can automatically alert the police,ambulance, and fire station when it is set off. I work for Cox and I sell these systems all day long and have one myself. they are not expensive and Cox will include all equipment and waive the installation fees. it's also very affordable. I love Tana but I have to say that if this is all true, why hasn't she at least put in an alarm system, especially with how big she is on RUclips now that can bring out all the creeps and crazies. I'm not even well known like her and I have an alarm system for a level of protection. I just don't get why someone would have this going on and not take the simplest level of protection of her home and herself. doesn't make sense.

You really should get a pitbull, they have a VERY protective nature. I had a stalker and break-in so that is what I did and I haven't had anymore issues. My pitbull is so protective and senses someone is coming to my house like 4-5 min before they get to the driveway. I know for a fact he would tear someone to shreds bc when I had someone come to my house to fix my washing machine and he stood in between me and the washer guy & growled until he left. Just an idea, praying for you that this will stop.
rottweilers are quiet when they want you dead they're even better for a smart stalker. I had one when I was growing up and she was a puppy when she smashed the whole sliding glass door out of the wall like the frame and all down and the guy trying to break in dropped his coat hanger and hopped over the brick wall before my parents could even see him. rottweilers make a quick hiss noise when they sense someone dangerous like that and they just go after it. but they are the Sweetest family pet too. always made me feel safer growing up with that dog. no one could hurt me
Oh also those dogs always pace all night long because it's their job to protect its in their instincts to watch for someone intruding like tanas stalker they may sleep during the day but I know they will move from room to room at night checking on everyone constantly. it bothered my mom growing up because we had wood floors but it's reassuring

I do have 1 piece of advice just in case you don't know or haven't heard about it, when you're on your phone or laptop try and get something like blue tack and cover the camera so your stalker can't film you assuming you don't need the camera at that point in time.
Also for your bald spots try massaging your scalp for ten minutes each day (or night considering your sleep schedule) and that will increase blood flow to stimulate hair growth :) I took 2 years of hairdressing and my tutors said it works so no harm in trying ❤️

I'd also recommend turning off the internet on your phone, computer, and other devices when you're not using them. Or just turn them off completely. You can even unplug your internet modem when you're not using it.

and to clarify, this would only prevent your devices from sending any data (through wifi) in a given moment. When there's spyware already on your device, it's probably best to factory reset the device. But if your device keeps getting reinfected, you'll have to keep doing this.

My boyfriend had a Rottweiler and his family never keeps him in a room or locked up when they go to bed and when I stay at his house I always feel safe because nothing is going to happen to me or the family with a Rottweiler protecting us. You should get a Rottweiler or some other protective breed.

This video showed me how absolutely terrifying this must be. Things like this happening are my biggest fears. I wish I could tell you to get help, but to be honest I'm not sure what help you can get. Although I think that security cameras would be great I completely understand and agree with why you wouldn't.... Be strong, I know you are.
Also a Rottweiler seems like a great idea but if this person is as trace less as you assure they are. I'm unsure on what this dog could prevent. A security guard is a good thing as well although the price is insane and it could aggregate your stalker which could have uncertain consequences.

I’m exactly 3 years late seeing this.. to the day (weird). I just happened to stumble upon it and I just want to say, I believe you and I truly hope your situation has improved. I had a lowkey stalker in my late teens, early 20’s.. he left notes inside my locked car and asked my stepdad if he could take me for ice cream.. he would come to my work “just to say hi”.. nothing nearly as serious as this but I know how creepy that was so I cannot imagine experiencing what you’re describing.

Tana, if you want the FBI to find your stalker. Give the FBI the 2nd grade picture of him. It has his name, they can access his phone records and possibly track him down. Tana I advise you to do that because that can help. Even though his picture is really out dated, the FBI can use his name to access phone records, recently purchased items (if he has a credit card) and see where he last was according to his purchases/phone records, etc. we will find this man Tana, best of luck!

You should get those locks that slide, or some sort of finger print system. You need a lot of locks in your windows and doors. If you have a basement or attic, lock those up too! Maybe you've already done this. You should put a glass case or a metal cage on the cameras and an alarm to go off if they're tampered with

I dont know if your going to see this but i will tell you a technique that might stop your stalker for coming into your house. when you lock the door, make sure that you leave the key in the key hole. And if your door has like 4 locks (you have to turn the key 4 times to lock it ) make sure you twist it only 3,5 times. The last turn that you make twist it only half way.when you leave the key in the key hole, nobodys from outside are going to be able to put a key fully in. and when you twist it half way you prevent the key from being pushed out from outside .
