didn't ride the 2008 Yamaha fz1 for two weeks. It won't start. How long can a motorcycle be sitting and maintain its battery charge? I live on a hill. Would coasting downhill then popping releasing the clutch in 2nd gear start the bike? The battery wasn't dead--it still was trying to turn on the bike.
The battery may not be dead, but it might have lost enough juice to not start. New battery can last around 6-8 weeks, older batteries might want to be charged every 1-4 weeks.
So what if your battery constantly dies while the bike is running let's say you start the bike five times a day and then by the six start the bike doesn't want to turn over
If you don’t ride long enough your battery won’t have time to recharge and you’ll drain it every ride you start the bike. If it goes dead while you ride you either have a bad rotor or regulator
Can't somebody do a damn flow chart instead of hit or miss suggestions? --- Does your bike do nothing? Does it just click? Does it turn over but not start? Etc...
This is actually a really good video man... only a matter of time before your channel takes off..
Tip over sensor for bikes like interceptors and ninjas and kick stand sensors
Very clear and helpful
