On the interior, 99% of the time it'll be all original. The best thing to do is, know the stores return policy. If it's 30 days, bring the watch to RSC within those 30 days and ask them to give you a diagnosis for a service. They will inspect the watch top to bottom, then give you a service recommendation. Tell them you'll think about it, and leave with the service diagnosis papers.
How do they have so many, yet the Rolex stores are empty?!?!
They were just exhibition models! Imagine though...
Watching in 2024..im going to New Yorkat Christmas do you think that I .can buy a 4 digit datejust for $3300 including taxes?
Here's a question for you. You said that WEMPE has these watches to try on. When you say that like too ,does the sales person say WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST FOR THIS MODEL.?? Or are they honest and say you probably will not ever get it. Just curious. I'm starting to have the attitude that if i am not important enough to you as a customer ,maybe i won't do any business with you.
Great question. The guy who was assisting me (not my regular guy) with the exhibition watches asked me, at the end, which was my favorite. I said the Green OP, and before he could respond, I blurted out "but I'm already on the list for a Submariner with Andre (my guy)"...
I fucked up, and I should've let him say "I can put you on the wait-list for that, if you want".
TLDR: maybe.
You tried on a blue dial sky dweller and didn’t ??? If they have it, they could sell it to you. Very surprising. Was it already sold? If so, very surprising they let you try it on
No, they were exhibition only models. They have partial movements in them, so they don't work. There not for sale.
@@DrRolexPhD wow, I have NEVER seen that at a dealer and I live in NY. Several of the serious watch dealers are right on the corner of 47th and 6th Ave next time you go.
I got one in times square for half price
Just found your channel. Can you give me some details about your content?
What do you mean?
This reminds me of the fake watch market on Top Gear
Its hilarious that these people in the watch business will spend 120k on a watch to sell it for 122,500k lol
Are those watches fake or real ?
Did you go to LaGuardia?
Yeah lol, who's this?
@@DrRolexPhD bro it’s Brandon
Where is our boy Jonaton at?
Lol
I have a pretty nice collection brother, I deleted Facebook some years back. I was like I know him
Comprare in un negozio del genere toglie il fascino del prodotto stesso…
I do not understand how people can pay over retail for a used watch, with scratches and/or in some cases polished. If you are a tourist, you may get scammed (not getting documents, spare links, malfunctioning watches, ...) even get a fake watch. If new, you are feeding a grey market that is against your interest. Those shops should sell at least 20 - 30% under the ADs prices (depending on the condition).
What part do you not understand? If the watch is not available for retail then you have no option but to pay over retail.
@@bigmacdaddy1234 You have the option to wait, to negotiate, to choose another option in the brand, to buy another watch from another brand, ...
Are you always that simple?.
More $$$ than brains. Insecure, want to show off.
As long as the gov keeps printing $$$ it won’t end R is not going to do anything.
Can we expect to buy real Authentic Yacht Masters and other Rolex from the Pristine Jewelers and Trax? TY
Yes 100%. They won't sell fakes.
@@DrRolexPhD Great to know..... Thanks!!!
@@MRSTEEL15 my pleasure!
Nice to take a walk there window shopping but buying from them is another story. They have a horrible reputation.
I can't see myself buying anything from those guys in NYC.
They're reputation is bad, but in reality, you'll get the same prices/service/quality of watch from them as anyone else.
So in the states can you just walk in and buy a sub? No chance in the UK…
lol no those are just displays
@@bizzybezz you can buy the Rolexes in the windows....
Hi where is the best country to buy a Rolex jk
Dubai or possibly Hong Kong
Remember , for $24.95 Timex or Casio will sell you a watch that will keep time just as well . If you want to impress people just write a check for $24000 and stick it under the watch band .
Hddjjj
Don't waste your time with these guys. They are not your friends. ie 47th street
