I still use the Michell 300. It's a joy to use and I have acquired around 8 extra spools with differing line strengths. You can still buy a second hand 300 on the Ebay. I've used a bait runner, but it feels like I'm cheating! Tight lines. RIP John Wilson MBE. Much missed.

I like the way he uses a plain plastic bucket for groundbait and not some fancy carp tax laden named bucket.

Nice quiet film, no over bearing unnecessary sound track like so many modern fishing videos (especially carp videos). Happier simpler times.
