These books are just gorgeous! I adore your finished mermaid! I have never coloured a book as an adult (I am a watercolour artist) but this just seems so relaxing and the pages are just amazing! you take it to a new level!
Thank you so much! I know several artists that do enjoy their coloring books as well. Definitely not the same books we remember as kids!! I do find it wonderfully relaxing. These Colouring Heaven magazines are a great way to see which artists you like and then from there invest in different books. I would recommend Hanna Karlzon or Johanna Basford books to anyone who is interested in starting out. Both are available on Amazon. Thanks for watching!!
Your finished pages are so gorgeous! You are definitely one of my favorite colorists to watch. I love your creative style! Thanks for sharing your collection. These videos are great. 😊
I don’t tend to color in my Coloring Heaven magazines even though I love them. I had a membership for a short time and got several magazines I would never color in so I gave them all away. All I have left are, like you, the fairy, steampunk and dragon issues. I also have Holly Hobby (a favorite from my childhood) and a Christmas one. I don’t know about you, but I had a lot of trouble receiving my orders. The last two times I ordered anything I had to get a refund because they never arrived.
I forgot to share my Christmas ones lol. There are only two though. And I’ve never been subscribed actually. All the issues I have were purchased through their website or on Etsy. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
I ended up canceling my subscription and then just buying the ones I actually like on Etsy but even then I still don't have very many colored pages in them. I just love their books and the collections along with being able to get those exclusive images.
I'd be intimidated as well, with all those images. I just began this whole Adult Coloring journey and books like those are a bit scary to begin even for the most season colorist! You have a very lovely collection of books altogether... I've watched your videos and it inspires me to build my confidence and collection up!
I do have a much larger collection than I’ll ever need lol. I think if you start with the books you feel most comfortable with and really enjoy then you can branch out. ❤️ Thanks for watching!
I have so many of these that I need to work in! I went to cancel my sub over a year ago and they offered me half off to keep it going, so yeah I have almost 24 now! I love your finished pages, esp the women. Do you have a tutorial on how your color skin? I feel like I looked for one recently and didn't see it. You add such interesting colors to the skin, I want to know how you think to do that
I have a couple of old skin tutorials, but I feel like my technique has changed a bit. Probably need to make an updated one. And as far as the skin goes, I just kind of base that off of the “feel” of the illustration. Some great examples of differently colored skin are done by Christine Karron and Emily Illustrator. Check out their channels!
Love your pink dragon! So gorgeous! 💕
Wonderful collection and nice pictures!
Wonderful 😍🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

Thank you ☺️

Lovely video Erica. My collection is like yours with not many finished pages. My Chibi book has gotten the most love out all the issues I have.
Thanks so much!! That Chibi book is the cutest ☺️
@@Elmcolors if you want to show so more love to it, we could do a buddy color out of it.

If I was into coloring people, these may be cool. But I’m not, and I can’t. 😂 Thanks for the flips!

You should watch new dark crystal. It's good.
It’s on my “to watch” list for sure ☺️
