Agreed, after my family and I played Castle Panic a couple times with wins under our belts we get The Wizards Tower, which brought whole new life to the game. Same thing when we got this expansion. Really love the difficulty settings on THE DARK TITAN as each game play we got up one level. We are currently at level 4 and still having a blast with it. We recently showed this game to two folks for the first time and they had no problem playing with all the expansions. Sure, it isn't AS simple, but so long as you have one at the table that knows how it all works it makes it easy for the rest of the group. Great expansion.
I already knew this was going to be a good expansion. And not too expensive for what it is. Awesome! I'm concentrating on getting base games right now, but eventually this might be a Xmas gift I can ask my friends to get me. Great review as usual, Zee.. :D
Thanks Zee. Knowing that you play Solo as well, I was wondering what you thought of this. I just got Star Trek Panic, and never played Castle Panic before. I was on the fence with Castle panic but saw ST Panic and waited till that came out. Knowing now that I enjoy Star Trek Panic, I will be getting Castle panic and it's expansions. There is a rumor that a third expansion will be coming out.
I disagree. Castle Panic is a simple game, but this expansion adds complexity, and while I like the big bad and cavalier, the rest just adds time to the game... and that is the biggest problem. Castle Panic with Wizards and Dark Titan is over a 3 hour game. Too long.

Why do the Heralds have health?
There are more than 3 heralds and one of the huge boss cards can spawn them
