got on the bus in 74, went crazy during the 75 break wanting to see more shows, this was my first hitchhiking trip specifically to see them , saw all four shows.
Boston seems to be another Place the Dead always played well . The 76 Boston Shows and the 77 show are fantastic .
Been listening to this for 50 years ☮️👍✡️
These were great shows, my second run at the Boston Music Hall. I had been overseas for a year and flew back in time to see these shows. The Winter 1973 shows were a little more intense but these were super fun.
Happy birthday to this beautiful jam N.F.A 65-95!!!
Man I'll never hearing help/slip/frank on a bootleg Great American Music Hall 1975....and i would play that sequence over and over and over and over in my walk-man....I just couldn't get enough of how f$cking amazing those songs were in sequence. It was help/slip/frank, Jack Straw, Around and around, gdtrfb...those were the one that right off the toe f my head got me hooked.....man damn those were the days.....listen to some GD spark a J, put a square on your tongue and play Nintendo while mom was at work .summer break lol

Thanks for posting. I was lucky enough to be at all the shows on this Boston run. Drove up from NYC with my cousins for a wild week! Not that it was unusual (after such a long absence) but the Dead seemed to get better with every show on this tour.
i hitched up from jersey and saw all four, one of my fave weeks ever. they put day of show only seats on sale at the box office i guess to circumvent the scalpers who were now becoming a thing even at dead shows
4:17 Pause the picture. Move back about 3-4 feet from the screen. Now move about a foot from the screen. Pretty trippy.
Awesome special, specially when your stoned ☮️🦏✌️🇮🇱
If you don't like this you don't like heaven,and I love heaven.🦁
Thanks Clytus I'd have been one when this was played but this is what I hear when I feel de ja vu. Thanks for sharing, I'm extremely grateful ;)

I love what I love and I love it that way. Jerry that sweet lady h sure treated you right. Sorry about your Dad and middle finger. You're a good kid. Okay enough Jerry you are going to harvest wind then we'll do it again until you get it right 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉😮😢😮😅😅😅
LOOOVE IT!
Good music
love this ....
This, right here, is one of the best jams!
out of thousands of their best lol
powerful jam right here
I think the Boston Shows are the best Spring 76 shows. They may even be the best of 76 . They are so much tighter than the other Spring 76 shows though all the other Spring 76 shows are great . The Passic Run is great especially June 19th .
The July San Francisco is great as well . I especially like July 14th 17th and 18th .
The Oakland shows seem to be the best of the Fall shows . Boston is right up there with San Francisco and Boston ..
If you plant ice you're gonna harvest wind
Very nice. Check out Philly 6/24/76. You like.
Om Love. Om Peace. Om Nirvana.
Namaste
The Slipknots they performed during this tour at times didn't come close to being recognizable, however they're all jammed-out and super interesting.
you are good through and though
Help im stuck in 2020
Tq
This is awesome
How does this only have 18000 views??
Sssshhh, because only the Cool Kids can know about this, the rest just don't and WON'T get it!!
@@keithhoughtling6311 went up to 38,024. since You said that.
Because they're boring lol
👋
Prolific!
Even heat good air flow agin with time
Was that Bob or Jerry at the beginning telling the band what song to play next?
Damn, i'm out of morphine. And i think my dog has fallen in love with one of my cats. When the hell did suburban living become so bloody complicated?
I'm becoming aware of John Weir
55 people got sold bunk strips lol
Leedle leedle looo
Dancing bears on jazz
Unfortunately. Dancing 🐻 bears is now some stupid porno. Parody
on jazzid
There's a glitch at 12:18... nothing terrible, but still throws it off
@soysarita....tape dropout. Quite common with old dead show recordings. Better to be thankful that we have so many of these '70's dead shows availible on youtube than to complain about minor issues.
yo
There was no Slipknot in 1976 smh. The drums sound so dead lol! Boring Scott, this isn't real jazz it's noise
June 17TH 1975 Winterland Arena SF was the first time it was played
Have you heard anything by Jeff Beck with Tal Wilkenfeld ? Comes to my mind cuz you mention jazz... KILLER Stuff !!!
@@GypsyRoaddog I might have, i'm 54 all that shit is from the 70s. That was the best decade for music. Buddy Rich has played with some fantastic bands
the reason the dead's music is more popular than jazz is because they took it to another level , and took it to the people, they were jazz's natural next step
@@bluesriot2 They suck! Only hippies dropping acid cam relate to that crap.
