The Kata is good, but the bungkai depends on the instructor's interpretation, and we can judge our self whether it's effective in the real life situation. Or maybe it needs some adjustment or improvement to make it more practical.

Sort of, you pull them off balance and the hammer fist is to the head. They can't block because they committed their hands to grabbing your arm.
