It was satisfying to sweep Cora and his Red Sox 3-0, payback from the 2018 World Series, and yall brought up his role in the cheating thing with the Astros as a bench coach. Though he apologized to Jensen, Kiki and Justin Turner when they were together last year in Boston, for that cheating in 2017 World Series, but against Cora, 7-2 vs his Red Sox since the 2018 World Series, and 8-6 vs the Astros since the 2017 World Series, plus we got history of beaten the Astros in the playoffs anyway, 1981 beat them in the best of 5 NLDS, during the strike season, came from 0-2 down after dropping 2 in Houston and won 3 straight at Dodger Stadium and eventually went on to win it all.

Also I want to add, that the Red Sox are 2-0 against us all time in World Series play, 8-2 in games, but the Dodgers all time are now 14-10 vs Red Sox in regular season games and won 5 season series vs Red Sox to Boston's 3 season series wins vs Dodgers, so I'm proud of that.

I hope Lux keeps it going offensively and Dave gets some props for giving him time in the lineup to get beyond the mental hesitancy with his reconstructed knee. Dave's long view may pay off in the end and Matt's hot take that Lux will start 5 playoff games could happen. Go Dodgers!

Wow what a night, dominance at it's finest, but a sweet sweep of the Red Sox, great way to start off the 2nd half of the season, after how the first half ended, great way to bounce back from it.

Bo Bichette has reportedly told his friends that he wants to be traded. I know that he just got injured, but when we got Trea Turner and Max Scherzer, Trea was injured.

Either Phillips is hurt or he has fallen off a cliff. He no longer is the closer and his unreliability has further strengthened my position that the bullpen and contact-oriented position players are higher priorities than a big name starter who can only impact the game once every five days while position players can impact every game and a reliever can impact every other game. The past several series have shown that even with quality starts, weak relievers can blow up the game, and an inconsistent offense too heavy with power over contact high whiff batters can't get them back in it on a regular basis. The resources it would take to get Skubal or crochet (who will end up in the bullpen anyway by October due to innings restrictions), the team could get several players to fill multiple holes. The collapse of Phillips underscores the need for a high-leverage reliever. One SP who could be had for a much lesser return is Eovaldi. And the team should prioritize Rengifo or possibly Yandy Diaz who may cost less in a trade because he is having a down year, but his contact rate remains solid. His big issue is defense, but the pickings are slim. Mason Miller would be an enormous and much-needed weapon as a closer, but they might have to settle for someone like AJ Puk as a solid bridge guy and hope treinen or Hudson can close (even though they have imploded multiple times this season) until graterol gets back. But a SP should not be the big priority when compared with the other issues.

I really think if Randy is available is a better choice (given the playoffs performance), therefore, I think it's better to use the prospects in him rather than in Robert. If they could get Crochet once Randy is secured, it'll be great but if not looking at the Eovaldi possibility would be maybe even better or, to reduce costs, seek Flaherty/Eflin/Kikuchi as starters; but that increases the need of Tanner tho; as position players: Ryan McMahon/Josh Smith/maybe even IKF/Pham (these 2 I left at last since I'm not that convinced).
I'd be ok to move from: Knack, Frasso, Gauthier, Wrobleski, Cartaya, Liranzo, Ramos, Heubeck, N Miller, Gelof, Bruns, Martin, Perez, Rushing, Biggio, Vargas, Grove. Maybe even Ryan, Hurt, Ferris, Pages or Outman (although I'd prefer to tkeep these 5).
For sure extend Teo (2-3 yrs, maube even 4?), he's proved he wants to be here and has been pretty good. Edit: I wouldn't trade Lux, not yet at least not until deadline

I'd move from Bobby. His TJ countdown has already started. Not saying Gavin is free from one but I think his probability is lower. Besidesm Bobby might have a really bad time in controling his anger in between pitches. Btw, the one I trust LESS in october is Heyward
