In an interview Todrick commented on Kirstin's acting and professionalism. She practically had to live in the makeup chair, but she never complained and her every movement was perfect. Kevin... Kevin is just a machine in this with his beats and other sounds. Even when he isn't beat boxing he is adding to the harmonies. Truthfully every one of them is perfection, including Todrick Hall who was often a part of the harmonies. I've always thought that this should have gotten some type of award.

You *really* want to see Scott appealing to honestly any gender, you've got to watch their cover of Let's Get It On from the Sing-off. That performance and the one two weeks later are probably the ones that sealed their win.
Am I right in saying that Scott like the ladies & gents? 😊😜 (Not that it obviously matters, just got the impression from other comments about him). I know he's with a guy now but I'm sure the ladies are still drawn to him. 🤷♀️😂

I love Todrick's genius. Also it was his doggo in the beginning and he's really named Toto! PTX just shone so brilliantly here.

The title has it backwards. It's Todrick Hall ft. Pentatonix. Todrick wrote, arranged and produced this video. There are others that also take familiar stories adding contemporary music by Todrick.
I've seen this a gazillion times and I still can't get past Kevin as Toto.... so funny 😊 In some of the harmonies it could actually have been an extra line by Todrick - hard when there's six parts to disect ! Thanks QoFy!!

This was posted to Todrick's channel in 2013. Since the trio were all 19 when they appeared on _The Sing-Off_ in 2011, they must have been 20 or 21 when this was shot.
I love this video. It's done beautifully, and Scott, Mitch, and Avi all look so proud of Kirstie during the _Home_ medley at the end (as they very well should - she absolutely *nailed* it).

(They used a stand in for her at times that is why you only see the back and a stand in for Scott (Scott and Kevin were the palace guards) This whole video is EPIC!!. And YES! Hey QoFy, hey gang 👋 👋! I couldn’t come to this fast enough straight after my shower, I love Todrick and his Wizard of Ahhs so so much. I have it downloaded on my phone, ever since I first heard it I’ve been obsessed with the idea of a full bass version of Can’t Be Tamed by Miles Cyrus.
And I know what you mean about their acting in this, it’s amazing, huh? Scott, Mitch and Kirstie all starred in an episode on Bones - season 11 episode 16 Strike In The Chord. A college acapella singer gets murdered, and Scott and Mitch play suspects. And at the end of the episode there’s an interesting choice in song being played. It’s PTX’s original Light In The Hallway. Scott wrote it as a lullaby for his niece, and knew that Avi’s voice would be perfect for it.
Oh wow I have Light in the hallway on my list so I’m excited to check it out

But for real you should check out; Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, Deck the Halls, The First Noel, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, Making Christmas, Angels We Have Heard on High, and Hark the Herald Angels Sing (this one doesn't have a video that I'm aware of but I think they did a superb job on the song and it deserves more attention).

Something you may not know - Todrick went to the same high school as Mitch, Scott and Kirstin. He's a few years older. Also Mitch got a bit chubby when he first moved out on his own.

OK! You are so funny! “That’s so cute!” I cant get over how well they picked the songs that retold the story so well! Mitch just shines! I love all his parts & the transition from Scott to Mitch with the “do you” was brilliant! His high note in the closing medley was fabulous. And when Kirstin sings “you’re lying on the cold hard ground” to Avi who is a”lion on the ground” ....just so well played! Kirstin dreamt of being on Broadway (which she has now) so she was spectacular too. Is there anything PTX can’t do? Nope. Reactors usually get so wrapped up in the visuals they neglect the singing. Thanks for pointing out those harmonies! Fantastic arranging as always! Avi and Kirstie "were" very flirty with each other around this time (whatever happened OR DIDN'T HAPPEN) only they know, they didn't hate each other for the rest of the time Avi was in the group (they were just not flirting anymore) Personally I think they look ADORABLE together (they even had a ship name (Kavi).
They remained friends/family AND THAT is MORE IMPORTANT!!❤
