Thanks once again for an educational fishing vid. Always learning something new watching your vids mate. Crispy tail mullet, who would have thought? 👍 I think mullet are very underrated, taste great. You’re a legend.
Hey Luke, I discovered your channel through looking for info on mullet fishing some months ago. I'm so glad I did. There are characters then there are you and Shannon. Great combo. Thanks for all your great uploads. There's no-good taking knowledge to the grave. Cheers Barry
Love mullet. Awesome vid. Large freezer bags are cheap and awesome for flouring anything. Throw your flour in (and I add salt, white pepper and cayenne), put your fish or chicken in and shake and roll it around and remove. If a bunch left over - tie a loose knot in the neck of the bag and thrown in the fridge or freezer for next time!
Once again Luke great viewing. I reckon you could catch mullet in a bath tub. A good trick is to put the flower in a plastic bag then put the fish in then give it a good shake shake, no mess. 👍
Best fishing RUclipsr by far. Too many of them are on themselves way too hard, they also pretend to know everything about fishing and bullshit about it as if it's a science. Easy to pretend you are an expert when you only fish the best water in the world and use the best gear available. Hunter's fishing adventures is keeping it real.
Awesome stuff 👍,i enjoyed your show,my first time watching your channel, new sub now, haha, may i ask which country is this, the scenery is spectacular, also how do you know where the mullet is,cos ive tried targeting mullet in the ocean, just cant get it.👌💯
Awesome thankyou 🤝, it's Australia NSW not far from Sydney. The mullet love a protected beach with small waves they seem fairly common in the warmer months. I hope this helps see you on the next adventure 👍
Mullet fishing is a bit of a art alot like fly fishing. You have to put the bread on quite soft don't squeeze it or will be to hard and fish won't bite, to soft and falls off the hook. Then you must cast light enough not to throw the bread off hook. You get about 2mins before bread falls off hook.

The only thing i can catch at the moment is mullet, not the kind for eating just for bait. I made my own dough and it works well, sticks to the hook a lot better than bread.
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 is there anything wrong with it. Long time subscriber can't remember seeing you sail it? I'm interested in getting a sail boat.

Only live under 15cm, can be dead baits over 30cm I suggest reading the dpi page quite alot to read. Some mullet are protected some are not. Very complicated rules vary state to state
I don't know if this is your target audience, but I've always assumed people watch fishing videos because they want to learn how to do the same. But most people who make them don't show how. They say nothing about the time of day, what they 'see' about the water that makes them decide to fish there, or what type to catch right now. Nothing about what type/length/etc rod, size and type of hook, how to tie it on, what tackle to use, how to keep each type of bait on a hook... I'm still looking for a channel that rolls that way, so if anyone knows please speak up. Just one example: I have heard many times to use bread. But I've never seen anyone actually show how to feed bread onto a hook so it stays there. I've tried a few times, put bread on the hook, cast it into the water... and the bread either immediately washes off and floats away, or it flew off in the air before even hitting the water. I saw one guy say wet the bread first. So I did that and the bread fell off before even casting. At least it saved me the effort and I went digging for a pipi.
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 Oh I can imagine... I fished a few times as a kid, now plan to live in a motorhome (thanks Labor for the $120 a week rent increase SO FAR) and I've been trying to learn what to buy, to limit the amount of overlap (rod A can also do fish B and C) to reduce the amount of stuff I have to carry to feed myself. It seems impossible. Just when I think I've pinned a type of rod down, after they say it will do species A, B, C - then I read they require different size line! ARGH! I hate learning curves and the one for fishing seems astronomical. When BCF gives free credit I buy a packet of sinkers, hooks, squid jigs, fillet knife, etc - but I'm just making random guesses. I have $25 BCF credit and noticed they have some rods on sale like Shimano, Diawa... So even though I noticed their gear can be more expensive than other stores online even when they have it on sale (lol), I figured it might be wise to buy a rod while they're on sale AND the free $25 credit is sitting there. But I've been watching fishing videos and reading sites for 3 days but still have no idea what rod to get, or even if any will hinder catching fish more than help. I have one rod, a 12 foot beach rod I bought several years ago because Kmart was having a fishing gear clearance and it's price had been halved at least twice down to $15. I knew it wouldn't be great, but for $15... There's just too much information to process and retain. I thought surely just tying a hook onto any line will catch SOMETHING... but then I see videos saying use the wrong hook size, wrong bait... you'll catch fewer or nothing. I don't even know what questions I should have to find the answers lol. Since I have two boxes of cheap/nasty Kmart squid jigs and a few good ones from BCF, I tried to focus on "what do I need to catch squid" but even that info goes on forever and the next site contradicts the previous one. Use a rod that doesn't have a fibreglass tip so it bends not breaks. Next site says squid rods should bend in the middle and/or be carbon. But first site said carbon was stiff/brittle and will snap. [Sigh!] I feel like giving up, selling the gear I've collected with BCF credits, and just buy battered fish and squid rings from the supermarket. And I know it shouldn't be this way... A person shouldn't be discouraged to the point of giving up before they've started. And stores like BCF don't help things any. They say to ask their "experts" in store for advice but they told me yesterday they have stock that's illegal to use around here like crab traps that will get you fined that can only be used in other states, lures that only someone fishing in the NT would buy... and on it goes. Ridiculous.
@@realfamilyman try not to over complicate it any rod will catch fish same as any reel. Start off fishing simple with prawns on a hook it all starts from there the learning begins.
