I worked in pubs as a barman for several years on and off... that pygmy machine looks incredible. an actual proper connector for real kegs/barrels! I wish all of these had standardised connectors and you could just buy whatever you wanted without worry.
I have the perfect draft machine ,absolutely love the beers ,remember you get what you pay for ,I can honestly say the beer is better than the pub draft ,the beers come from the brewery of origin, not licensed out as so many beers over here are . Once you taste the quality your hooked .
You get £5 back for every perfectdraft keg you send back to beerhawk/keg retailer. Beerhawk also have a beer token scheme when purchasing kegs, plus the 15% discount when you purchase 3,6 or 9 kegs. It can work out as cheap as around £20 a 6ltr keg. Not a salesman, just love my Perfeftdraft lol. Beerhawk have some more machines coming in next week or the week after I think. Check after 2pm, thats when the list them.
I upgraded to the pd but I miss my little sub for the Heineken and pelforth , tiger etc , I bought that tripel from a friend who didn’t like it ,he had one pint and sold it to me for 20 which was a bargain but unfortunately I don’t like it either
Would most probably invest in one of those if in stock ......otherwise happy with pint 365 linked up with 5litre mini kegs . Currently on a Hazard after Midnight stout !! 😎😋 🍻
The first keg coupler you have connected is referred to as a Sankey the second one you had is a Grundy, the lever on the pouring handle is a flow control, if you serve over a few days the beer in the pipe will be room temperature and the cooler won’t be able chill it quick enough, therefore wastage of warm frothy beer could be high. You missed out British brewed Marston’s Resolution (Low C) low carb...4.7 abv 88 calories 3.27 carbs per bottle ..full of beer flavour. I think you missed out that BiB (bag in box) is available from small breweries, pour from the box and very little waste. All these keg dispensers rely on drinking quickly to achieve freshness and reducing frothy beer waste .
I don't get the calorie hunt when it comes to beer. Even a lighter beer is going to have calories in it, that's an effect of it being beer. If you don't want the calories you must avoid beer completely.
I find easiest way to load a Blade Keg is to keep the tension of the line in my mouth while dropping the keg effortlessly into machine with both hands / Obvs keep the cap on until it's in ..... Your Welcome 🙏
the down side of the professional machine is that you have to clean the beer line. There is also a plus side, some of the machines you can leave the air pump disconnected and get yourself some CO2 and use that so greatly increasing beer life. I have the Phillips machine and I'm having to have one keg in the machine and another one chilling in the fridge as when family come around (covid safe of course) the 10 pints disappears quite quickly. Believe me once family and friends find out you have beer on tap they'll come around more.
Hey i got a quick question i want a machine to go in my outdoor kitchen which will have some direct sunlight. so what would be the best way to make it work please. even though the perfect draught has my favourite Hoegaarden i still think the Blade is a better machine for what i want on a summers evening in Wales keep up the good work Cheers
Love the video! Think I’ll be getting the Krups due to current availability. Also, I’m a student so I can’t be buying the bigger ones really due to the size of my house and my bank account! I don’t know that I’d drink enough beer to make up the money by saving due to buying bigger kegs, as much as I’d love the Blade (not that it’s available anyway).
For me it came down to Lindr (Brewfitt) vs the Blade, ended up going for the Blade, purely because the machine was going to mainly be for Lager, sticking to cans for IPA's etc, also with the Lindr machines the lines need cleaning every two weeks which is not difficult, but is a 20 minute time drain + kegs are mainly 30L and availability is a little spread out, its very hard almost impossible to get a keg of anything decent in 20L and below formats, mostly available via eebria and the breweries I contacted one of them being Deya would not sell me a keg.
Guys I want a Phillips PD but can’t get them anyway…. Was gonna go for the Sub…. Do I bin them both off and get the Blade? Money not a major concern, just want a solid pint when we want one. Does the blade have a good offering of beers?
A video showing people how to connect and you do it wrong 😂 always wondered how people ended up with problems with PD taps then I see how you opened yours. 😂😂😂. When installing don't have the beer line clipped in first, fit the tap to the keg once it's in place fit the beer line.

Every machine on that table out of stock everywhere. Worry for the pubs when they open up again.
Every time I remember that The Perfect Draft isn't available in the US, I weep a little inside.
You and I both!

I just bought one got get used to it bit foamy at the moment
Excellent stuff.I own the blade and pd and for me the pd edges it due to choice of kegs 🍻🍻
Said it before will say it again Quality Set Up!

What is the smallest size poly keg or.similar you are likely be able to get from a brewery? 10L?
the other good thing about the pygmy you can get proper cider on it!
Great review as usual! I think we still have a fifth tap to feature? Your authentic pub tap!
hello which machines dose GUINNESS?
Did I just watch you eating a Vesta beef curry in a video? I was watching a video on it earlier on, and you look so similar!

Great video mate. Pygmy all day long for me, will be on my xmas list this year 🥴
Loved the video Simon and thought the information you provided was amazing. Would you ever consider doing a video about brew kits for making homebrew?
Wish we could get these in Australia. None of them are available. Grrrr
Great stuff as always. Cheers Simon.
spot on,spoilt for choice, what model is the brewfit
Can you hook up 9,11, 22 gallon barrel to it
Love the idea of these but I don’t think the costs work out for me
Homebrew is better
Could you show us using your brewfitt machine with co2 gas and preferably with a normal steel keg.
I’m just jealous 🍻🍻🥴👍

Massively jealous! Great vid as always!
Thanks for the video. You made me laugh I'd say you have some sessions. I'm am looking to buy the blade, can't get it here in Ireland.
Hi, Could please list again those beers your tasted? Thanks!
how would the brew fit manage guinness
I want to see the rest of your bar area please (for ideas)

I've seen a lot of hype lately around Pinter: have you tried that one?
Hey can u fill a key keg with strongbow?? Great review 👍🍺🍺🍺
Simon you said you could drink the 2 l torp in a night but the 6 l Perfect Draught would take you a month? ???
I think it was because it was a 8% Belgian tripel (Tripel Karmeliet). It’s a couple of glasses a night beer and not pint glasses either.
@@joffhall81 yes but he said he could do 2l in a night. By that reckoning he could do 6 over 3 nights, but he said it would take a month.
I thought the same Welsh adding up not his best lol
Bet most of the Beer in the 4 machines is gone now snywsy
If you can't drink 8 litres how you going to drink that one
quite surprised that you say an 8L will take you a month to drink - surely it would evaporate quicker…
like your shows
Wow, you just love ur blade machine ...I like the way you express yourself when talking about blade...cheers bro... you love your 🍺 🤗
The Blade looks the best
Just can’t get a PD anywhere! 😱
My mate bought one off France Amazon and it works out cheaper just put an adaptor on the plug
Is in Englund legal to mery beer? :D
Mery beer?
If a guy like Simon can pull a burd way a coupon like his there is hope out there for all u fellas way a face like a melted wellie.
Do you know anywhere selling the perfect draft Simon? Cant seem to get a hold of one mate
That and the sub all out of stock since Brexit kicked in mate
@@themadcoachman had the sub for a couple of years mate just fancied the perfect draft 👍🏻
Beautiful beers have some
How many of these have we had now?!
A month to drink a 6L keg of Triple K 🤣
