- I try out Tennent's on PerfectDraft. I try it from the PerfectDraft and a Can so that I can compare both. This release on the PerfectDraft has polarized opinion, so let's see what someone who had never had Tennent's before thinks to it.
I also have some Mackies crisps, bacon flavour no less!

Love the series, Conrad should sponsor you because I definately look here for a "whether to buy or not". I love tennetts when I'm up north but definately go for hertog for the time being 👍
Haha! You never know! Maybe he's a big Bald Reviews subscriber! 😂
Hertog is a belter and personality I'd choose that over this in future. But this isn't bad at all for a session lager! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews I'm happy on the hertog as a session Lager tbf. Well I am at the time of drinking, not so much in the morning 🙃.
😂 fair play to you fella! 👍🍻
Totally agree that Baldy (sorry don’t know his real name) should be getting some kind of sponsorship from Beer Hawk, best PD reviews on RUclips by far.
Cheers fella 👍🍻
Is this a dream hope not, can’t believe what I am seeing. The PD is unbelievable but to have Tennents a pint in my own home is unreal.I am from the north of Ireland and have spent most of my life travelling to Glasgow to watch Celtic and part of the experience was looking forward to getting a pint of Tennents,me a my mates call it sweet milk thank you Pd for this one,🙌🏻
😂 it's not a dream anymore! Glad this had has made the PD experience even better for you! Enjoy that sweet milk! 👍🍻
Love the effort you went to to try and get some T down your way. It's like the basic default brew up here in Scotland. Usually the last thing on the shelfs anytime the suns out hahah
Brilliant stuff - I've got a keg of Tennents chilling right now! Looking forward to more great reviews. Keep up the good work!
Thanks fella! Be a few more reviews coming up now the holiday seasons over! 👍🍺
"Closing down groups and all-sorts" Brilliant 😜 another brilliant and fair review Baldy. I feel exactly the same in the difference between the tinnie and the draft. Good man 👌
Cheers fella! 👍
Night and day for sure. That can gassed me up almost immediately as well! Had a cut a few moments out let's put it that way 💨
Have a good'un fella 👍🍺
Menabrea is a very good Italian brewery; I like especially the Rossa
Hope your keeping well Baldy, finally got round to the Big T and was very happy with it, I worked in Aberdeen years ago and garnered a taste of the little beauty after a hard days graft 🙂and the keg takes me right back🙂. Funny you mention Spatan personally Tennets above it for me.
My running order for PD lager
LISA
Juplier
Golden Goose/Hertog Jan
Big T
Good stuff fella! Glad you're enjoying it!
Not a big fan of the golden goose lager, but apart from that a list of belters there chap! 👍🍻
Love watching these reviews, I've got a Blade due for delivery this week, your reviews make me want to buy PD machine as well.
Keep them coming fella, great entertainment 👍
Well, I'll buy a blade eventually I think! 👍🍺
I have both machines, the blade is better, I only have the PD for the Tennant's which is great but if you're going through kegs quick it's a nightmare to get them to drinking temperature without the keg being in the machine, the blade kegs chill so much easier and let's be honest the choice is far better, just my opinion, enjoy your pints folks
Lived in Scotland all my days and probably drank a handful of cans of T but it’s my go to in the pub
It’s just a completely different drink on draught
Very fair and honest review! 👍
Cheers 👍🍺
Great video man gonna get a perfect draft soon so these reviews have helped me make that decision keep it up subscribed
Good luck chap! They're not easy to find but do crop up and back in stock now and again on beerhawk or in Costco! Cheers 👍🍻
I really don't like tinned lagers because of that metallic taste that you mentioned. My go to pub lager however is Tennents, probably because I'm a Scot, living in Scotland. Some people say that it is bland. I say it's an easy drink. Thanks for the video.
If it tastes like it does off the pd! It's not bad at all! 👍🍻
when the setup is spot on in the pub Tennent's is a great pint got mine in the fridge getting ready for my PD a few mates are coming round for the game today cant wait to try it .h/t pie and a pint love it. a fair review Baldy it's not a world-beater but its good refreshing pint cheers
Many a good pint has been spoiled by a bad setup in a pub. It's a shame because people often think the beer is a bad one after that!
Enjoy the game fella! Jealous of that pie at halftime! Sounds like a belter of a day you've got lined up there! 👍🍻
Top class . I'm Scottish and appreciate your honesty . I've got the tennents on the PD and like you say it's a lovely refreshing lager . Thought the Mackie's deserved an 8 right enough 🤣
Cheers fella!
It's a good'un! Easy to enjoy!
Have a top 2022 chap! 👍🍻
So glad to see your fair review. I'm also from Northern Ireland and grew up in this beer, and it's still my go for session lager in a pub or at home. Have to agree, the cans can be "metallic" which puts alot of people off.
The negative comments prior to its release on PD hurt my feelings if I'm honest lol.
I have 6 kegs on their way here today from my Yodel guy so I'll be waiting patiently like a dog at my letterbox.
A message to the haters. Don't knock it til you try it.
Thank you for giving it a chance. And I also agree...better at 3oC 🍻
Cheers Perfect Drafters
Cheers! 👍🍻
Totally agree, don't knock it until you've tried it. And the difference between can and PD, night and day!
Have a good one chap! 👍🍻
Probably your best review so far! Had everything open honest funny and informative 👍 brilliant job :) cheers 🍺
Cheer fella!
Have a cracking Sunday mate 👍🍻
Where have I been! first time watching your channel fantastic review compair to other PD channels defo order a keg when they are available again.
cheers
Cheers fella! 👍
I'm not a beer expert, but I'm familiar with Tennants from being in N Ireland so often. I've had it on draught and after Fosters it was the first beer I thought wasn't worth having.
Won't be wasting my time with that!
Good review! I wondered what it would be like, I trust your reviews so it was good to watch.
Thanks! 👍
Like I say, there's better on there, but this has its time and place. It's a nice refreshing session Lager. Not bad at all 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews I swerved it on my order and got a Lowenbrau as my lager choice. It was good to hear that's pretty good.
Great pint
Great review but I can't believe that you didn't go for the mackies haggis crisps😉
Another excellent, funny, interesting informative review. Keep up the reviews our fella 👍
Cheers! Have a good one! 👍🍻
grew up on tennents tbh, but on can its pretty grim. a good draft is pretty good but a poor one is grim too. that pour was about as good as it gets. has to be very cold.
After all the fuss this caused, it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. It was actually alright! 👍🍻
Tenants is very under rated for a mainstream lager. Will be ordering at some point for the PD
I enjoyed it. Different ball game to tennents in a can 👍🍻
Carling was brewed by Tennent’s in Glasgow before it was sold off I used to take trailers full of kegs and meet up in a truck stop and swap trailers
Ah, interesting chap 👍
Have a top Sunday fella! 👍🍻
Wouldn't mind a pint of tennants .... use to drink it before I got into craft. Agree, sometimes you just want simple and refreshing.
Spot on fella! 👍🍺
Glad you enjoyed the Tennent’s mate, good review as always.
Cheers fella! Not bad at all, having a few more tonight 👍🍻
Hi mate, just watched this as I got 2 tenants kegs with glasses, wanted to see if this vid was still relevant and it is. Also shows how your channel has grown so well done on that.
Can’t knock this one mate it’s a classic, not many pubs in England sell it in draft so having it is a treat.
I did find that it wasn’t as carbonated as I thought even in the tenants glass, I’ve tried different glasses and get same results. Did you find this over time?
Also have you tried Victoria Malaga? Probably one of my fave beer out the bottle, you can get it at Tesco.
Cheers!
Tesco's is my general shop, so will take a look chap! 👍🍻
Nice one bud, since I bought my pd machine I have not bought a can from my corner shop, lowenbrau all the way for me, can't believe that tennents broke beer hawk website, but us scots love our drink, all the best, keep up the great content, cheers from Glasgow,
Cheers fella!
It did feel odd buying cans! Lowenbrau was the first keg I put in it! Good pint. The Oktoberfest one is a belter 👍🍺
@@BigBaldReviews seen on beer hawk a few that seem to be seasonal release, I love a pint of the black stuff from Dublin is there anything that comes close cheers bud
That's always been the issue with Tennents in a can, far too gassy. Looking forward to getting the keg
I was pleasantly surprised with the can! Enjoy 👍🍺
Just found your channel, spot on reviews, really enjoyed them, keep them coming ,,just a pity you have more chance of finding a flying horse with a pig riding it than getting the machine, been on the waiting list for nearly 3 months, cant wait to get tasting
Cheers 👍
They are a tad hard to get hold of at the moment! Keep an eye on Costco as well 👍🍻
I’ve got Tennents lined up for Christmas Day. It’s not going to offend anyone (maybe I’m wrong here as that was my thought before I re-watched the review) but in imo its one hell of a larger.
Cracking stuff fella! Enjoy!
Have an absolute belter of a Christmas chap! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews cheers BB - no doubt you’ve chosen a great keg for Xmas day! A very big thank you for your content - it’s provided me with seriously good entertainment. A very merry Christmas to you.
Brilliant review again big man. As a Glaswegian, I’m buzzing for this and you’re spot on, great lager for out the back garden and with a BBQ. I actually prefer it to Hertog which I’ve just finished.
Thanks 👍🍻
Perfect for a BBQ. Tempted to get an ooni as well now for a spot of garden pizza! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews had my eye on the Ooni!
Great honest review as always ,top notch baldy ,loading up the lowenbrau this weekend ,not sure if I will buy the tenants ,but without your review it would have been a 100% no ,but you have greatly reduced the odds now .
Thanks mate 👍
Lowenbrau is a good'un to be fair 🍻
Maybe leave the Tennents until it gets a bit warmer and you want to down a few mid-day in the 🌞 worth a blast I reckon. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some offers on it once the initial excitement passes.
Have a cracking weekend with that Lowenbrau fella 👍🍻
Glad you enjoyed a big Juicy, great vid ma man.
Cheers fella! Kegs gone now 😔 👍🍺
As you know, i've followed this channel for quite some time. Even gave a snackage request that done very well on a previous video of yours!.... but as a northeast lad, i've had a lot of that stuff during my teenage years and I don't want to revisit it!
Indeed you have fella! 👍
Fair play, if fosters came out for it I would be the same! Although, for review purposes guess I'd have to buy one! 😉
Have a top weekend chap! 👍🍻
Great timing. Loving the reviews.
Cheers fella!
Have a cracking weekend! 👍🍻
Great review bud again, remember the tenants extra back in the days what a stormer 🍻
Cheers fella!
Can't say I had the pleasure of the Tennents extra, is it no longer available? 👍🍻
Excellent review and accurate as hell!
Cheers fella! 👍🍻
Bought a PD simply for tennets
Love a pint of tennets, the only reason I'd go to a pub really, hate the cans, but a night in with the Mrs, wee coupon on and a few tennents I'm a happy guy
Fair play to you! Enjoy! 👍🍺
Tennents is your only man 😍
Was looking forward to seeing what you thought mate. :)
Not bad at all fella!
Have a top weekend matey! 👍🍻
Also Tennents own a small craft brewery called Drygate I think who do loads of good beers mate should check them out
Great review. One of the benefits of Tennents Lager is its only 4% and really good for the session drinker.
It’s completely different experience on draft than from the can.
Totally agree! Could do with it now as I'm DIY'ing! 🍻
Finally managed to get hold of a PD on Monday, eagerly waiting for it to be delivered. Ordered a Tennents when it came back in stock on Tuesday. Can't wait to try a nice cold pint of Vitamin T at the next family BBQ
Good work fella 👍
Hope it comes for the weekend! Enjoy! 🍺
Great video as per very fair review, you deserve a lot more subs 👍🏼
Cheers fella! 👍🍻
Great timing. Currently I'm drinking a pint of franziskaner weissbier on perfectdraft. Lovely drop 👌 I'm scottish btw and tennents in my least favourite lager lol
Haha! How's the Frankie going down? I can only manage a few pints in a row. Nice though! 👍🍺
@@BigBaldReviews pretty decent mate to be fair. Had a few last night and few tonight. Very drinkable. I got the perfectdraft at Christmas so this is only my 4th keg after a stella , a budweiser & a corona. My plan is to try a new one each time 🍺
I started my drinking career by downing pints of Tennents in the pubs, so I am slightly biased towards it. I like many lager beers but bought a keg of Tennents as it's a classic.
As long as you're enjoying it! It's all good!
Have a top one! 👍🍻
Over here in northern Ireland as a teenager we started on this stuff then moved to harp. Harps a nicer pint. Wish it was on the perfect draft. Good review bigman 👍
You still get Harp? Don't see it at all in pubs down here now.
Cheers fella 👍🍻
Yes mate it's a big drink for us over here mate in all our pubs we'll mostly. Nice crisp pint of it I'd hard to beat or 12 🤣🤣
🤣
Good review cocker, I would like to see the cctv of you taking the can out for a discount 😀 no seriously well done. Get that pub done...
🤣
As if I'd do something like that 👀👀
Hopefully being delivered next week! 😬
Have a good'un! 👍🍻
Thanks for the review Baldy. I wasn’t going to accept any comments until it had been across your tastebuds.
😂 thanks fella 👍
Have a top weekend! 👍🍻
Hey Baldy, some cracking reviews on here. Where do you buy all your branded glasses mate?
All over fella! eBay, Facebook marketplace, brewery websites. It's getting harder to get them to be fair 🍻
I'm a North East of Scotland lad and when I was a young man in the 90s everyone drunk Tennants because it used to be good when it was 4.8%. Always very refreshing and great with a bag of bacon fries. They changed something in the mid 2000s and the taste became awful in my opinion. Now pretty much no Scotsman I know drinks the stuff.
Bacon fries though... Great snackage! 👍🍻
Everyone drinks it in Glasgow ha
Great review pal and love to see Scottish lager on PD 🏴🍻👍
Cheers! 👍🍺
What do you think of Jupiler. Can’t get enough of it here! Lovely tipple
Cracking lager. Although got to be honest. Slightly preferred Hertog! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews right that’s it! It’s my next keg purchase. Been holding off for ages.
Cracking review, great comparison between the can vs keg, brought a keg on Monday along with Spaten and Juliper, first time drinking Tenants it's a nice session drink, difficult to score though.
Cheers 👍
Good three pack of lager there fella!
In order I would say Spaten, Jupiler, Tennents. Be interesting to see if you think the same.
Agree, Tennents is a nice session drink. I did struggle with that score! Now it's down to 3 degrees as well though, think it's even slightly better. I'll stick with a 7 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews agree with the scoring, Tenants is growing on me the more I drink it, I thought scoring at 7 was too high comparing it with the German beers 🍺🍺 I just think they are in different league's 🤣
I think with Tennents you have to look at what it is in context. Its basically a standard session beer. Its as good as Heineken, Carlsberg etc, on tap, in Glasgow. It is a cheaper beer, absolutely but it is a lot better than carling or fosters on tap. And I will stress that it is better in Glasgow. Only because its the main beer in every pub. Its basically just because of pure flow levels on tap in these areas. Its cheap, decent and most people drinks it that are beer drinkers. Very much the same in Ireland with guinness for example in terms of flow. If you are unsure of what to order in a pub its good to have whats on flow. Tennents is a very good cheap lager that is a lot better than other ones that are below its price point and immediately above this. I would also say this as an Irish man, Tennents in Ireland is complete piss on draught. It does matter where you have it but obviously as you have the keg there that point isn't relevant. But it is in terms of how the public perceive it.
Fair play! Good insights fella!
I agree where you have certain drinks makes a big difference. To be fair, can also very much depend on how the pub treats their beers as well!
Can't wait to get out to the pub again!
Have a top weekend! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews great channel btw man. Popped up in my feed randomly so the algorithm ain't all bad!
Would love to see heverlee come out
Remember that time so well. Pdkt got shut down for ages after that. Love your high quality videos. What cam do you use?
Cheers fella 👍
It's a Fuji finepix camera 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews if you are ever interested in some nice motion graphics. As a perfect drafter I’d be delighted to help. 🍺🙂
Sounds good fella! 👍
Would love a good intro rather than my stock premier effort! 😂
Great review can't believe you went for the tennents 😂😂 im unsure on it being 4% just seems to weak for me soild 5%up i like
🤣 well, can't knock it until you've tried it! Had to give it a blast with all the fuss over this one! 👍🍺
@@BigBaldReviews very true mate i shouldn't knock it till ive tired it 😂😂 i just cnt take the keg seriously seems the clown of the class room so to speak .
Could've poured the can with a bit more vigour to get a better head.
True, not sure it would have tasted any better though 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews Indeed. That's why I walk the short 150yd to my local for a great pint of Tennant's.
Fair as always buddy! Do the becks gold next!
Cheers fella! Was going to go for the Clwb next for a change in between. But it would be good for comparison 🤔 👍🍻
I would definitely try a keg of this .. never tried before ! 7 is not a bad mark !! We have been spoiled for the choices on perfect draft! I hope they bring cider to the keg ( hopefully in summer)
7 is quite respectable. We have certainly been spoiled for choice you're spot on.
This could me Magners 🤔
Great review Baldy. I didn’t manage to get a keg of it though I did try. I’m now thinking that may have been a bit of a blessing. I think I’ll swerve this one for now with a view to revisiting it in the summer, maybe. I’m currently drinking a keg of Clwb Tropica and loving it. I’m interested to see what you think of the Becks Gold cos I really rated that one, it was one of my first three on the PD, be interesting to see how you rate it against the big T. Catch you on the next review. Cheers Baldy 🍻🍻
Cheers matey! 👍🍺
The big T will be a beauty in the summer if it's blazing ☀️
Looking forward to the Beck's gold as well. Got to admit that I've had Clwb I a can and in a pub and haven't enjoyed it so much. But it's a bit of a classic PD keg, so had to do a review on it at some point!
Have a good one chap! 👍🍺
Are you going to do the Budweiser review any time soon?
Haven't got it yet, but will do it 👍🍺
Sorry people might say Scottish Carling, I love tennents it's way above Carling
After a few now I would certainly pick it above standard Carling 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews carling is just fizzy p*ss, Tennent's is far more superior to carling ,also Tennent's should be served ice cold it also helps if you chill the tumbler before you pour this brings out the Flavour of the Lager ,no one in the right frame of mind would serve any beer at 6 °C
Well baldy not too bad after all eh, loved the honest review keep it up mate.
Cheers matey! Yeah, above expectations for sure.
Like I say, time and a place for it I reckon 👍🍻
Review ur hangover next day after drinking Tennant
Great video, I’m happy to see this on PD, I honestly wouldn’t mind if Carling came to PD! Sometimes you just need the easy drinking lagers!
I bet this tennents is even better at 3°
Looking forward to trying this when I can get one!
Cheers 👍🍻
Spot on! Sometimes it hits the spot!
Had a few now at 3 degrees and it is better again. I'll still stick to the 7 score though I reckon. Enjoy! 👍🍻
I bought a PD machine about 15 years ago and used to go to Carrefour in Belgium to stock up on beer, Jupiler was my favorite and Stella was completely different taste to Stella here. Pelforth is a good blond french beer in a 5 litre keg that fits the machine. There is no comparison with canned beer, and something like Tennant's will always taste better out of the keg.
Good luck with your pub! I'll send you some perfect pork scratchings when you open
Sounds a good routine going to Belgium to stock up on beer! Hope you enjoyed a few cheeky Belgium ales on the trip as well! 😉
Was Pelforth still a PD keg then? Just 5 litres instead?
Thanks fella 👍 it's coming along! On the roof hopefully today! Better fire some sun cream on the bald head! 😂👍🍺
Not tried T yet. However, my last two Stella kegs have been a bit flat! Is that normal as I though that Stella was one of the gassier beers earlier on!?
Had Stella way back when I first got my PD and it was pretty lively. Not sure if anythings changed? You using a Stella Challice? If it's flat in that type of glass then there's something wrong! 👍🍻
Great review pal best one yet.
Cheers! 👍
Have a good weekend! 👍🍻
Only other time it crashed the site on a release was the OktoberFest 2 pack release. It was annoying as they had a few others back in stock, Leffe Ruby for example, which I wanted. Manged to grab one.
Good review mate completely agree with what you say I think a lot is just beer snobbing, if this opens up a magners that would be amazing... people say well buy 18 cans they are cheaper quite clearly don’t have a PD you can literally say that about any keg on their it’s never been about that I think it’s my next keg to try 👍🏻🤜👌✌🏻
Very true fella! Very true 👍🍻
Cheers have a good'un! 🍻👍
Being from Scotland, nothing beats a Big Juicy for me. But nice to see what someone who isn’t used to it thinks of it. Cannae wait to get back to the pubs for an ice cauld pint, but the PerfectDraft will have to do for now.
Same here fella, those pubs can't open quick enough. They need some proper support as well when they open. That's what I'm telling the Mrs anyway! 😉🍻
Maybe the should do the super lager for them that like a knock your socks of drink 🤣😂🤣
Love the reviews. 1 thing tho given the £30-40 price tag for around 11 pints I've elected to use the PD for the quality euro beers. I love a corona but when it's £35 for 11 pints or £12 for 18 bottles it's a no brainer. Same with Tennents etc. For me it'd be like paying £40 for draught fosters versus £12 for 20. Is it draught... Yes, is draught better....yes!!! Is it 3-4x better in the price to experience ratio.......??? For. Me no. That said.... IT IS WORTH paying the money for quality high end euro beer that isn't available readily in the shops like your spaten, Lowenbrau, hertog, Lisa etc....absolutely! That said and I can't see it happening bit if PD could bang out something like Coors light in the £25 range I'd do it...... I'd also pay £45 for a keg of beaverton neck oil...... Which for me is the best beer on the market!
Menabrea yes plz
Crew Republic back in stop as I type 👍👍👍🍺🍺
Now that's a belter! 🍻👍
I've never tried it so I've ordered it today a becks gold and spaten
Makes me laugh only decent lager tenants made was the extra (still available on draft & tins in Scotland) now that on the perfect draft not this drain cleaner.. They do say tho a lager is coming so I live in hope..
We all live in hope! 😉👍🍻
Can't beat tennents been part of my 5 a day for 20 years drank cans for years just got a perfect draght last week 👌 cracking pint it is
Great stuff! 👍🍻
Yes variety spice i agree nothing worst than a beer snob buy what u like
Tennents is perfectly good cooking lager. The tins are always pretty poor.
what keg tastes more like fosters out the range
I would say this one fella! 🍻
Hi BBR, great review looking forward to your becks gold review got becks gold coming with a goose session ipa new to perfect draft it’s so hard to choose which beer to buy thinking of a leffe which one would you recommend thanks BBR
Thanks fella! 👍
If you like that Leffe twang then they're good. Leffe blonde is probably a good one to start with. The Royale and Ritual are both a bit punchier, so harder to get through if you're not so keen.
Probably Leffe blonde in a bottle is the closest I've tried to a keg as well. Still not quite a good, but may be worth giving a go first. It's easily available as well just in tesco's 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews thanks BBR much appreciated 👍👍👍
Great vlog mate 👌🏻
Cheers! 🍻👍
Vitamin T .. great stuff lol😂
All good stuff! 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews did you get hold of the theakstones old peculier
Still not for me bud, but a good review as always, won't be replacing leffe la légère or the Hertog jan as a session drink for me
To be fair, glad I've tried it and I'll stick to the score, but I would also buy a Hertog or a Jupiler over this in future. Not sure I would the Leffe La Legere, but it is a bit different, so can see why people like it.
Have a good one chap! 👍🍻
£10 for two litres (Ok a little less after taking into account cask deposit? beer voucher) as apposed to £3.99 for four cans cannot make out if they are 500ml or 440ml but its still a lot more money for a draught beer isn't it? OK I could live with the Belgian beers that are not available here but common home market beers sorry but no!
I know what you're saying. And it probably isn't the case every time. But the difference between can and draught here was night and day 👍🍻
Great review, when will you be reviewing Clwb Tropica, it's my favourite tipple and even better on the PD.
In this order with the Tennents I ordered a Clwb and Beck's gold, so it will be coming soon 👍🍺
@@BigBaldReviews Looking forward to it mate. What is your favourite lager on the PD, I've had the Stella (excellent compared to UK brewed rubbish) and I have the Hertog for this weekend and a Jupiler in stock, both I havent tried before?
That's a tricky one. When the Oktoberfest ones are out, I really enjoyed the Lowenbrau Oktoberfest. I would say the Hertog for one that's available all year round though 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews 👍😋
Tennents broke the internet....Or at least the beerhawk website! Becks is currently the cheapest lager on PD and I would have thought this would be cheaper than that but it’s not. However I can’t knock it until I’ve tried it! Sounds ok from your review 👍
Reckon they knew they would easily sell out to be fair and it's easier to discount something than put the price up. I've got Beck's gold in stock, so will be trying that soon 👍🍺
Becks gold is class! I’d never had it and I was really surprised. Very different to normal
Becks and way nice on my opinion. Reminded me of an American style lager
Tried the Tropica as it was sent to me instead of the Cali pale ale by mistake. Really enjoyed it. Wasn’t too fruity as I’d thought. Lovely drink, would be great when the sun comes out. Not going to try this though. Good reviews but there’s far better pilsners / largers on the PD.
You're right. Have you had a Cali yet?
Hopefully the sun will be out for the Clwb!🌞
Cheers! 👍🍻
Big Bald Reviews Not as of yet but I will order it soon 👍
My only problem with the perfect draft is, I'm trying to neck 10 ltrs of Stella so I can try the Leffe.
🤣
Enjoy each pint fella! 👍🍻
6 degrees is too warm if you ask me
It was a bit better when down to 3. Like a lager extra cold myself 👍🍺
Hi can you remove tap and top off keg when it's full and I have already attached it it's a beer I don't like and giving to a friend??
Yeah, that's fine. Just release the tap the same way you would do if the kegs empty. It reseals. You can swap between kegs, so not an issue 👍🍻
@@BigBaldReviews thanks 👍keep up the perfect draft reviews 👌
im scottish and cant almost see the brewery from here I hate the stuff generally but sometimes a good pint of T is the bizz. if you like a shandy its the best lager for this
*can
Fair play! I think it's a good pint! Nice and fresh from the PerfectDraft 👍🍺
Pish in a can pish on draft and pish on Perfect Draught
It's a macro lager, it tastes like all the rest however it's served, watered down over fizzy piss.
Good review as always 👍. Got a tennents in chilling for the football today. Loved the golden goose so happy with that comparison. Also your review of the can makes sense. Never had a can for years because of the metal taste. Pints are different animal from the pub. I’m sure they stopped making Brannigans crisps. Not seen them for a while
Cheers fella! 👍
It'll go down like a dream with the football today I'm sure!
You can probably guess from my accent that I'm an LCFC fan so today could be even better if we get a result later!
Either way, enjoy your beers mate 👍🍻
Tennents is disgusting from a can, always takes on a bad taste from the can. Pints of Tennents are good though, never going to be the most interesting lager but it’s nice enough and drinkable. Really good for starting a night on cos you’ll get through the early pints quickly.
Spot on Barry! Exactly what I found!
Cheers 👍🍺
Who/what closed PD Keg Tips? only went to that page through this site.
The owners of the group closed it. Think it just became a bit too much with all the admin of it. Shame, was a great group 👍🍻
Mate you need to get T down to 3 degrees before you test it it’s a completely different pint pls try see if you think it’s different
Had it last night at 3 degrees and admit it is better again. I wanted to compare it as close as possible to the can, and 6 is what people would have from a standard fridge out of a can. Among other kegs I would still give it about a 7 I reckon though. Not bad at all 👍🍻
