- A bit of fun being had on Pitcairn Island. I had a lot of fun days during my time on the island but this has to be up there as one of my favourites. Jayden, Kimi and myself on the western side of Pitcairn, collecting, catching and cooking our food. Everything except the salt, pepper and aluminium foil came from Pitcairn Island.
Thanks for watching and dont forget to subscribe!
So glad I found this channel! It’s cold and snowy here in Oregon. Looking forward to watching more. It’s beautiful there. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful island! Good job on the drone footage, can't wait to eat some fresh fish, local food and coconut milk!😊🤗 Them fish making me drool!😀😋
Love the video Brad so much to see and do on Pitcairn island cheers mate
I'm in Brooklyn, looking out at the Atlantic and sending you my warm regards.
Best vlog of daily life in Pitcairn I’ve seen. Great work!
Very cool! Coulda been a scene from 500 years ago. The drone footage was amazing!
Pitcairn was discovered at around 1790's due to mutany in the Bounty. Still not 500 years ago!!
@@kuldeepk8482 There were people there in the 1400s. They left long before the mutineers got there.
Definitely one of the best fishing shows I ever seen. Sure beats the boring fishing shows we have her in America. Where they are on a flat lake to catch boring bass. You also never see anyone eat what they caught .
So it looks like they imported and grow onions and lemons. What are some other plants that they grow there? Also, does anyone have chickens?
All vegetables are grown there. Quite a lot of fruit trees aswell. Mango, papaya, starfruit, guava. Just to name a few :)
There are wild chickens on the island. So you can go hunting for them :)
We do pretty much similar with our coconut from taking out of tree to scraping it... every home has those instruments here... and add some spice and cocum to coconut milk serves great with fish and rice... while typing itself my mouth is watering...
Loving this vlog mate 😄,keep it up! Love from India 💫
Love learning all about the people on this island that I just found. From Virginia, USA!
God has blessed this land for sure wow. You eat like Kings!
It’s a pedophile island look it up 😂
Wow ❤ love this blog
Enjoyed the video; thx for posting it!
What a gorgeous shot at 10:30...
Nice background music!

Happy Sabbath day to the Pitcairn island's people.
Really well done!
Ia Orana bro

greetings from the island of sao jorge, azores, portugal
Cool video! 😀
Just subscribed!
Hi from Sydney, sik vid man , how about some spearfishing action, must be some big kingies around .
Any surfable waves on Pitcairn??
Nothing to really speak of. There are waves down rope but the rocks would make it unsurfable
hanks for the interesting video! Tell me where on the island of Pitcairn get drinking water?
Hi! All water used on the island is rain water. Stored in water tanks
@@bradbrown3447 Thanks for the information!
Very nice ...but you should have use banana leaves or those green leaves to wrap your fish in ....aluminium foil no good for the environment but I love the video
Yes banana leaves would have been a good idea!!
And also not good for your health as aluminum gets into your food. Use steamer bast like it's used in Asia
@Brad Brown thanks for the videos! Do they have any bakeries or Cafe? Since the supply ship only goes once a month does anyone else have boats? How far to the nearest port? Is there a helicopter pad?
There's Andy's Pizzaria, one of the residents that runs a pizza night on I think Fridays. There are boats on the island, but they're for shipping off the coast and going to and fro to where big ships anchor off-shore (they don't have a deep enough harbour for large ships to moor, so the small ones go out to it). There's no boats on the island big enough to actually make it to the nearest port, which is Mangareva, 540 km away. There's no helipad - it wouldn't see much use! Very occasionally they've had navy ships come by that have helicopters and they landed on the big field area the islanders use for volleyball and stuff.
Do am/fm radios pick up anything way out there?
Fark how good is this bro!
Soooooo good! What else is life about
haahha great ending!
Are the fish Nenue? I thought those were meant to taste pretty bad.
what do you guys get off the rocks pelagic wise over there?
From MALAYSIA..u know?hihihi..i want come ur island..😁😁😁
Btw the area where you guys were fishing is known as the Tedside?
Tedside, it's where the alternative harbour was built a few years ago (if conditions are too rough in Bounty Bay).
Do the islanders have jobs, or is it sort of a cooperative living?
There are a few jobs. Road maintenance, store manager etc but not everyone has a job. Almost everyone sells handmade things to the cruise ships. Obviously that is now impossible with no cruises anymore! Exporting honey is also a big money maker for the islanders
Very cool
Any crays there?🦞place looks awesome man, great vlog...bet you could grow sum mad buds up em hills lol
Aloha
Is there visa necessary for Indians ?
What about banking?
do you guys watch south park out there?
You can make coconut oil and many more useful stuff from coconut . From what I see it is just underutilised in a very big way
nice vid
Why don’t you move there ? I know I would if I had family there . Such a shame the decreasing population compared to few decades ago gorgeous place
Also why did you move away In the first place ?
Hi! Firstly i was born in New Zealand, my father was born there.
I wish i can live there permanently one day however being alone on the island is tough! I will need to convince my girlfriend to move with me which is a very difficult task! It is likely a problem that many of the islanders run into when looking for partners and a reason many do not return. Thanks for your question!
@@bradbrown3447 Living on a remote island far away out in the ocean is for sure not everyones cup of tea. Even most of the people here commenting how they would like to live there would not stay forever. I live in Switzerland and there is a constant need for people herding sheeps or cows in the Alps. People come from allover Europe and the vast majority give up and return to their sweet and comfortable city life . The solitude and loneliness combined with long days of hard work are too much for most of them.
I'm going to assume everybody on that island grows weed
You’d think they would but they defiantly don’t. Bermuda do an their an overseas territory, Pitcairn should have a referendum on it. It would really help in making them self-sufficient. And I’m no relation to the Warrens on Pitcairn By the way. As far as I know anyway!
@@jaywarren333 if they want to improve infrastructure and financial self sufficiency it seems to make a lot of sense
No weed required there! Just a relaxed lifestyle is all that is needed :)
@@bradbrown3447 I respect it - seems like a missed opportunity for some funny times though not gonna lie!
@@bradbrown3447 bogus man
Everything should be expensive. I think UK funds this island.
Do you know if they grow and use cannabis on the island...? i thought i would ask seeing as you have spent time there. Are they under British or NZ law? Both prohibit cannabis use so would imagine it would be on the DL...
No they definitely do not grow cannibis. I walked most of the island and never saw any 😂 Yes it is illegal there
@@bradbrown3447 why
