We were just in Edinburgh at the end of Sept and we absolutely LOVED EDINBURGH !!! There was so much cool history and architecture there !!! We visited the Castle which I thought was worth it. We also did 3 night time walking tours (The Witches tour, the Vaults tour (my favorite) and the City of the Dead Graveyard tour (amazing). We stayed at the Stay Central on The Cowgate (right next to the Three Sisters Bar which was great) and it was only 1 block from the Royal Mile ( you just go up the Old Fish Market Close across the street and you come out right near St Giles Cathedral in the middle of the Royal Mile). We climbed Arthurs Seat which was rugged but so worth it (wear good running / hiking shoes) We ate and drank at many of pubs in the Grass Market area (right at the end of The Cowgate Rd) and searched Greyfriars Kirk Yard for Harry Potter tomb stones. There was so much to see and do that didn't cost a lot or was even free. Everting that we did was within walking distance from The Stay Central Hotel(which was nice and the staff were very friendly and even stored our luggage on our last day so we could see a few last sights before our flight out. I would also highly recommend taking the Tram from the Airport to Princess Street and then getting an Uber to get to your hotel. We had so much fun and still didn't see everything ( like the Ross Fountain and Scott Monument as well as many of the Museums which are all FREE !!!) WE WILL BE BACK !!! 0:020:02
Edinburgh is such a beautiful place & you captured it well x You should of had a pint @ The Globe - stunning place! Kelpies & the Falkirk wheel are a must too - spectacular Rachel & David
Hi lovelies ❤ absolutely loved the tour of Edinburgh 🥰 never knew the poignance of the elephant till now 😢❤️ great tips on where to stay instead of in the centre of Edinburgh where it costs a fortune! Loved your first Vlog can’t wait for the next one, get editing 🤣 😘🥰 xxx
Edinburgh is basically our home town, but glad we watched your vlog to the end to see the magnificent Kelpies which you captured so beautifully at sunset.
What a beautiful day for your visit. We’ve both been to Edinburgh, but never together and only for work! We must check it out as it’s beautiful. The tram system looks good. You can’t beat a Premier Inn! Always clean and comfy! Cheers 🍻
I've enjoyed watching this video as I want to explore Edinburgh myself. I'd be travelling alone and I think probably the Lumo train from King's Cross. There seems to be loads to see I the city so maybe a long weekend won't be long enough, what do you think? I've only ever stayed in Travelodge before, I think Premier Inns are similar, are they better than Travelodge? I would appreciate your comments, thanks again
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed. Apologies for the late reply, we have been away for a week. We find premier inn to be far more premium than Travel Lodge. We think 2-3 nights works best for Edinburgh. Hope this helps?
@@DolittlesDomore OK thank you. I'll have to watch your video again and try and get my bearings in Edinburgh. Was the Premier Inn you stayed in near the train station?
