Great video, buddy. I'll explain a bit more about how I decided to place the tack shooters: I put them on corners so that 7 of the 8 turrets are facing the path of the bloons. This maximizes efficiency. I theorized that when the tack seems to mysteriously travel through the bloon without popping it, that this is because the bloon wasn't in line with the turret. Either that or it's simply a glitch in the game lol. I'm glad to have helped out with this challenge :D
The jump in quality from BTD4 to BTD5 was insane, and the exact same thing happened at BTD6. In contrast, the jump from 1 to 2 was just an extra tower, something that is just an update on BTD6.

once you get wizard monkey tier 3, just upgrade them to dragon's breath, i use bloonchipper as a support, because if it's your mainline, well, let's just say that it isn't fast.
@@Mammaark You will not have very good farms going for a dragons breath and depending on the map you will die to regen rainbows. Even if you don't you will probably not have good enough farms for later game
when i was little i was at the beach and I lost my favorite beach ball which i had had for years, almost drowned trying to swim out and get it and cried the whole walk home. played btd4 to cheer me up. 10/10 it worked

You absolutely should, especially btd6. It's unfortunate if you don't have it and didn't buy it during the steam summer sale, as it was only $1 at the time, but currently it costs $10 and in my opinion it's absolutely worth it.

I think you should give the game "Go Home, Dinosaurs!" a shot. It's a tower defense like this but has some very unique mechanics I've never seen before.
To save you the time. Yes, yes you can. As monkey village isn't technically a monkey and since camo were added, it granted camo detection. As well ice tower back than wasn't technically a monkey. You also had glue and road spikes between TD2-TD5. Despite failed efforts - tower spam is crucial to beating BTD, tack shooter is a great example and can be incredibly OP - basically for any tower in the older games, don't worry about range upgrades, focus on faster firing and popping power. But upgrades aren't crucial for the first ten rounds.

There's a glitch that makes BTD1 (and 2) tacks only trivial, but the glitch is so broken it shouldn't count. Using keyboard hotkeys and shortcuts like tab and enter you can select/highlight the Faster Shooting upgrade and buy it an infinite number of times, recreating the hypersonic tack glitch. It's obviously a stupid glitch which trivializes the challenge and shouldn't count, but it should be something worth mentioning :D

You should get btd6! It came out in 2018 and has 3d graphics, as well as lots of content with the same classic gameplay.

some upgraded forms of towers dont have monkeys while unupgraded forms do, IE the triple spike o pult upgrade for the dart monkey in bloons td4.
This makes me realize how clumped the Bloons are in the first three games. And now we panic if Round 4, 36, 63, 76 or 78 show up...
