    Topics today include:
+ How Hickman and Pitarra leveled up on this series
+ How the history of America's The Manhattan Projects is represented and whether the accuracy matters
+ Whether or not the series ends, and what the future might have in store based on my interview with artist Nick Pitarra!

I wouldn't bank on Southern Bastards getting a proper ending. Jason Aaron has justifiably distanced himself from Jason Latour.

I picked up Vol.1 of the trade intrigued by the premise and just trusting that it was Hickman and I wouldn't be let down. Brought it home, tore through and loved it. Went back the next day and got the remaining 5 volumes. Alot more humor than I originally anticipated but like you guys alluded to, its not LOL funny, but a dry, dark situational humor which I love. Hoping they decide to do more issues because the "ending" did leave me wanting more. I'm not even sure it's fair to call that an ending. As far as next years focus goes I'd love to see you tackle either Gillen or Brubaker...probably do Brubaker first. Brubaker/Phillips is my favorite creative team going today followed closely by Lemire/Sorrentino. Cheers and keep up the great work!

Manhattan Projects gives me everything I love about conspiracy theorys with out the real life consequences of supporting this kind of absurd speculation. Thanks for recommending "American Promethius" and giving us a greater appreciation for Hickman's work.

Definitely I would love to see Jeff lemire or Alan Moore get the Creator spotlight for the entire year an entire episode on their works I would definitely love to see both of those guys one or the other would be fine in the coming years if it's not next year maybe the year after just for me you know

Definitely I really enjoyed Manhattan project I really like how he would tackle some of the physicists within the series and give them a very unique spin to him like Albert Einstein finding out that it wasn't our universe's Albert Einstein it was a parallel universe version of him that switch places and he was like kind of evil. But he was like a valuable asset to the people at Manhattan project even the rivalry with other organizations was very fascinating I just wish that the series would come back and continue I know there's only like six volumes but it had so much potential to keep going for another maybe six more volumes and really explore even more stuff within that universe because it was very fascinating what Jonathan Hickman was doing in that particular series

I'm content with knowing very little about the Manhattan Projects aside from this book. It's all true. I'm not a politician so who gives a shit?
