Also, it's a great way to many of these indie creators to make themselves known to the general public. For me, it's a W for this, our community.
@yosefdemby8792 Yeah, I didn't know the whole story between animation and copyright, so I was undecided about how to call this move. Still, for me, this will be viewed as a game changer decision in the future.

As a huge murder drones fan I can understand where people are coming from when they said that it isn’t fair that TADC is getting all these goodies such as pop up stores, however Md isn’t as big as TADC is. Although, TADC’s popularity did help boost Md’s popularity as TADC introduced viewers to other things on their platform. Besides that though you could argue that if they made an Md pop up store it might not do as well or have big enough popularity in order for it to make money. It also depends on where the store is located (not too sure which country views Md the most but) there has to be a lot of things that apply to people in order for it to make money/sales which is: they need to live around that area or fly to that area (which I seriously doubt someone is going to buy a ticket to just to go to a pop up store when you can just buy merch online,) and they also need to watch the show (because obviously no one is going to buy merch of something they haven’t seen). I feel that personally GLITCH has given equal love to each of the shows, they haven’t just focused on getting out more episodes of TADC, but they also spent time giving love to Md. They could have easily taken out murder drones budget and put it into TADC so that they could get the next epi out faster, but no, they worked on Md episode 7 after TADC’s pilot release and then released the episode, then once the Md hype died down they released the second TADC episode. My same thought. In my mind im just thinking. How much people is actually gonna watch the show on netflix when almost every songle devoce that can run metflix can also run youtube for free@unclefrunkus5538
I think the reason why Glitch is most likely not going to release Murder Drones to a streaming platform is because the quality of each episode because unlike Murder Drones TADC has around the same quality for each episode.
That makes a lot of sense. I also think the show can be confusing for the wrong audience since it's made be paused to read background material in order to catch foreshadowing and pieces of the mystery puzzle. I wish they would reanimate the pilot. I'd lot to be able to compare it with how far they've come.
Many indie shows are leaving RUclips to be picked up by big corporations. While this may be good for the future of Indie animation. It completely loses the meaning of Indie.
The tweet says they are still entirely independent; they're completely funding themselves and Netflix has zero ownership or control of the show. The only difference is that it is now on an extra platform, unless I'm mistaken
Netflix can’t cancel it as they don’t hold ownership, they could stop paying for it to be on their streaming service but GLITCH has plenty of other avenues for funding so that isn’t an issue.
Reminds me of how since he left the Oswald series, Walt Disney would make deals with other companies for them to distribute his series, but vowed to own them first and foremost.
Just goes to show how much people love all the indie shows out there; there’s no shortage of creative people putting out new ideas, unlike Hollywood which just recycles the same ideas.
The mention of other indie cartoons having a gateway to getting more popular is an amazing point! I agree that it might ruin the novelty but seeing as Glitch says that they won't be selling out to Netflix point blank period, is HUGE!!! That keeps it indie, quality and a solid quantity. We (hopefully) won't see rushed episodes, dropped characters etc. As n 18yr old indie kid whose loved indie animations since BIRTH( Bee and Puppycat, Helluva Boss, Ramshackle, Murder Drones, etc) this is a huge acomplishment and I'm so proud and excited of the creators!!
I feel like this is great news. Like the hazbin hotel season 1 was announced in early 2023 that they will be a full show in price. The hazbin hotel pilot was a success .If they removed the amazing digital circus full episodes on RUclips, then they will team up with glitch. Personally, I think it won’t happen. Say ayy, what do you think of my response?
Honestly I’m so scared by this… especially for helluva. If it’ll ever arrive on Netflix I hope it will be in the same way as tadc, without being owned by Netflix and with the episodes still being on RUclips…. Cause at least RUclips is free!!! I can’t always afford streaming platforms and I’m terrified at the idea of not being able to watch the shows I love anymore…..😭😭😭😭😭😭
This has happened before! This example needs a little bit of backstory real quick though. Doll brands LOVE to make web-shows to promote their dolls (so much so some are even using AI just to get one out… yikes 😬). This one doll brand called “Rainbow High” is the most recent-popular example. It was SO popular, Netflix bought the show to be on their streaming service (or the creators or Rainbow High payed them idk). The episodes were and still are free on RUclips though. Same thing happened with another doll line Ever After High way before (R.I.P), I dunno if there still on netflix though… Basically what I’m getting at is this isn’t out of the ordinary for Netflix, though I’m PRAYING this doesn’t lead kids to buying Netflix because they think its off youtube or something 🙏🙏🙏
another thing that makes amazing digital circus seem "more corporate" is that Spirit Halloween is selling Pomni and Caine costumes! I personally find this pretty interesting and surprising, but what do y'all think??
Honestly, I’m really impressed that Glitch has made it this far! It’s genuinely amazing to see an Indie project get picked up onto a streaming service as big as Netflix, and I think that’s a great step. It’s also good to hear that Glitch still has the rights to the show and aren’t giving it away.
This seems like a huge step for indie animation - if Glitch can negotiate licensing rights to major streaming platforms rather than relying on a studio for funding and distribution, and that becomes more of a norm, then we might see a dawn of a new era of indie animation. I can dream~
This also means that Glitch won't have to deal with the rumored horrid Netflix animation practices like rushed time lines, their problematic contracts for writers and animators, and their seasons to parts model that cuts shows into like 8 EP "parts". This allows glitch and more importantly the show creators, goosworks, to maintain the property without corporate interference as they want to show to proceed.
I wish it would come to Netflix im a big fan of tv shows like regular show helluva boss hazbin hotel murder drones and my Amazing digital circus but its ok if it stays indie
I'm concerned tbh... For many different reasons like more kids and adults finding tadc and then not understanding it, the content farms, the corp and main stream aspect and just overall netflix being the iffiest platform with it's shows. I know they don't own it but still, i don't think this counts as indie anymore tbh... Also very dissapointed as a murder drones fan, even tho i found tadc first bc of it's popularity i knew about murder drones i was just scared about the horror aspect, so after graduation this summer and i watched and holyyyy i wish i had found it sooner, i love tadc i love helluva i love hazbin and all the others but murder drones became my top dog bc the humor and the animation and the characters and the world building is so cool!!! So after looking at it yea it feels like murder drones never got that love but as a fan even if i want more episodes and stuff i'm still glad it happened. Rn helluva and murder drones are my favs whome i actively want more and more, and keep going back to watch it.
I am glad that indie animation is getting more spotlighted, because it could potentially lead to a turn in the animation industry as a whole. I just hope nothing happens that causes the message to be drowned out.
With people's concerns with Glitch ditching Murder Drones, I'd like to remind yall that Glitch, Liam, and Goose all still love the show. Liam thought it was time to end it, so Glitch did so. Goose even advocated for Murder Drones getting the Netflix treatment on Twitter, so it seems that they do want these shows to be successful and not just make everything Digital Circus exclusive.
I definitely think that this is a huge W for indie animation, I’m just sad that Digital Circus is getting so much attention and praise with only 2 episodes while the murder drones finale just aired and we got the short end of the stick. Still happy for GLITCH though, I just prefer murder drones over digital circus.
I'm rly happy about this! its a VERY big step for Indie projects, but like i'm also feeling like indie shows should watch and see what happens with TADC before they make there like partner ship choice, (also kinda wanted to see murder drones on there too)
I don't really understand why Netflix is interested, considering they don't get exclusivity, but it's nice to see independent animation supported like this.
Good. It will further strengthen the Indie scene. Companies don't acknowledge Indie animation properly, so joining an actual streaming service forces them to see shows like Hazbin Hotel and Digital Circus as successful competition.
the fact that Netflix is paying a random indie animation company to distribute some madwoman's crazed show is just ridiculous! as for the whole "it's becoming too corporate!" I don't agree, this is Gooseworx and Kevin Temmer's ultimate passion project so they should do what they want! And as a TADC and MD fan, I don't agree that MD was "left to rot", GLITCH simply wanted to promote their new show and it was all up to Liam Vickers for the episode count.
I think the idea is good, and I can definitely see them doing this with future shows, especially if they do a second season of murder drones. Also I dont think Glitch is neglecting Murder drones and they have had several merch items, plus I feel like they might not have had the budget for it, or just found it's better to do it when it releases, rather than towards the end.
Inside job is a fine example on a good potential show getting cancelled by Netflix One one not it would mean the digital circus would have more funding to make quality episodes and potentially make a series, on the other hand Netflix hasn’t had a good rep given how good shows and movies are often screwed over while keeping second rate (at best) things on Can only hope Glitch animations is smart about this
Liam said over on Twitter that he's currently on break to recover from all the work from MD, so maybe after he's feeling better we could get something big for the franchise like a comic of some sort. I do feel like MD is getting ignored a bit since tadc is getting all this stuff and all MD has is the show.
Man that gave me a heart attack. I work for Netflix animation but even I wouldn’t want them picking up and buying such a beloved series. I am glad Glitch can maintain their independence and rights for Digital Circus. Because honestly Netflix is circus themselves 😂 wouldn’t want another Inside Job situation, cancelling such a great absinthe series on a whim.
Im personally VERY Excited, i dont rlly think MD is being thrown under the bus, TADC is just getting more viewed due to the content farming, but overall I CANT WAIT
3:12 Okay, no, that is not true. Murder Drones ended on Liam's own violation. The show didn't end because they didn't want to work on two shows at once. Glitch is more than capable of running 2 shows at once. With a third series, The Gaslight District, on the way. (Altho yea, we haven't heard anything about that in months) The show had run its course, and there's really nothing else they could do with the show without retreading the first season. If they left, even a single loose end, it would make everything everyone had done useless. (Which is something i personally hate)
I can't wait to sit down with my parents and watch the masterpiece that the amazing digital circus is, with my parents and see their reaction to it, I personally like the show but it's a shame that my younger sister watches the videos people make on the amazing digital circus that ruins what the show is really about. Glitch will always be a great channel in my opinion. :}
I said it before, I will say it again. I get to recommend this show to friends and family without getting their YT recommendations screwed up with brain rot content farms. The show is great, and nothings wrong with youtube, im just glad to see this show also featured on a streaming platform
I do enjoy Murder Drones, but I hate their fans hating on Digital Circus for getting more attention. Not only is TADC more popular than MD, but it's WAY more popular. The Pilot for Digital Circus has more views than every Murder Drones episode COMBINED.
Honestly, I would prefer murder drones being first priority and TADC being second priority in glitch. Don’t get me wrong- TADC is a great concept and it truly is exiting to see how far it goes with its lore and its episodes and content itself, but in my opinion, I have to agree with Lmao when he said MD fans felt like they got the short end of the stick. MD could have gone SO much further and while the finale was awesome, it is INFURIATING that it was cut so soon and TADC was prioritized. I guess MD fans like me will just have to see where everything goes and hope to god MD’s creator changes their mind
i think this is the beginning of glitch shows coming to netflix. theyre gonna put more shows like meta runner and their other big shows!! im so excited
With how unstable RUclips is becoming with ads and recent controversies, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the most popular indie shows would start appearing on other streaming services while remaining mostly indie. (Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some shows were moved to Newgrounds.)
I noticed that other shows like Interview with the Vampire from AMC and Scavengers Reign from Max are also appearing on Netflix. And now the Amazing Digital Circus is also coming to Netflix. I wonder what will come up next?
Okay the thing is that I think murder drones should have been on Netflix instead since it has already finished while the digital circus is still in production. to me it’s fine either way but it would make more sense for murder drones to come first and, like you said, it currently seems like it was thrown under the bus since tdac came first. But, again, it’s perfectly fine with me either way and of course others have other opinions.
*Here's one benefit for murder drones ending: they can focus more on the amazing digital circus = faster episode production and just overall more episodes* *Murder drones had alot of effort including effects gore spooky scenes just overall so many things, the amazing digital circus has simpler effects and other stuff overall murder drones focuses on serious scenes and some funny scenes to spice it up, and the amazing digital circus focuses on alot of funny scenes and some ofc serious scenes so yeah ofc it is sad that murder drones ended however personally i was starting to get a little bored of it just a tiny bit, so yeah its nice to watch something different, so yeah here's hoping the episodes don't take a eternity to be made, okay I'm done talking now..*

Remember, TADC has children in the fandom, this way kids don't have to tap on content farms related to it.
Ramshackle, Lackadaisy, Helluva Boss, Murder Drones...
And as usual, no The Rhino and The Redbill
I will say that it should bring murder drones, sunset paradise and meta runner too Netflix too so it can hopefully bring in more things
@@jadon._.tadcmdhhfr, im glad indie animation is getting more attention but yeah they aren't even indie anymore
The tweet says they are still entirely independent; they're completely funding themselves and Netflix has zero ownership or control of the show. The only difference is that it is now on an extra platform, unless I'm mistaken
The tweet said that their still indie. Hazbin isn't because it's animated/produced by A24 instead of Spindlehorse.
@@kingadam69Although Spindlehorse does co-own and co-produce _Hazbin Hotel_ even though as you said A24 owns the show.
Me when I don’t read the tweet and immediately go to the comments:
1:49 caine jumpscare 👻
I had to pause my hazbin hotel music to watch this
Tbh, as long as Netflix doesn’t decide to act like Netflix and just cancel the show out of nowhere, I’m fine with it
Netflix can’t cancel it as they don’t hold ownership, they could stop paying for it to be on their streaming service but GLITCH has plenty of other avenues for funding so that isn’t an issue.
netflix can’t cancel the show
Reminds me of how since he left the Oswald series, Walt Disney would make deals with other companies for them to distribute his series, but vowed to own them first and foremost.
Bro really did make it on Netflix 😮
Well, as long as they aren’t selling the rights, i don’t mind it being on a streaming service
I really hope Murder Drones goes on Netflix
Honestly I’m so scared by this… especially for helluva. If it’ll ever arrive on Netflix I hope it will be in the same way as tadc, without being owned by Netflix and with the episodes still being on RUclips…. Cause at least RUclips is free!!! I can’t always afford streaming platforms and I’m terrified at the idea of not being able to watch the shows I love anymore…..😭😭😭😭😭😭
elevator jam at the end of the video slaps so hard
Not the outro... 😭
Bro there's this kid in my choir class who plays the doors elevator theme on the piano...
I sorta agree but it’s Liam’s choice to end murder drones so
It all started with two kids how love Mario 😢
Hazbin hotel:four years.😮
This has happened before!
Eh, I say get that bag girl. Still not gonna watch it but I say go for it as long as she's careful.
another thing that makes amazing digital circus seem "more corporate" is that Spirit Halloween is selling Pomni and Caine costumes! I personally find this pretty interesting and surprising, but what do y'all think??
I hope this means that there will be TADC pfps.
What the heck!?! Well at least Netflix can’t control the show because Obvious reasons
Lets hope it'll last longer then "oddballs"
Ah yes doors elevator music 4:02
Fr
YAY I CANT WAIT (i’m actually shaking 😜)
I had flashbacks to when final space and inside job got cancelled for no reason, but it is good to hear that the show is still owned by Glitch
I definitely think that this is a huge W for indie animation, I’m just sad that Digital Circus is getting so much attention and praise with only 2 episodes while the murder drones finale just aired and we got the short end of the stick. Still happy for GLITCH though, I just prefer murder drones over digital circus.
I'm rly happy about this! its a VERY big step for Indie projects, but like i'm also feeling like indie shows should watch and see what happens with TADC before they make there like partner ship choice, (also kinda wanted to see murder drones on there too)
What? That’s Freakin’ sweet.
Dang in under 1 minutes that's crazy
Hopefully Emesis blue gets put on Netflix and on the big screen
To be fair: Emesis Blue is SFM. Valve owns the copyrighted assets of TF2 and their IP's; there's no way they can put it to Netflix.
1:50 Caine jumpscare
Glitch still owns everything, it’s just put on Netflix too so there really i’snt a problem.
I think this is super neat! Huge step for indie animation, and I can’t wait to see how far TADC goes!
the fact that Netflix is paying a random indie animation company to distribute some madwoman's crazed show is just ridiculous!
as for the whole "it's becoming too corporate!" I don't agree, this is Gooseworx and Kevin Temmer's ultimate passion project so they should do what they want!
That is a surprise. I didn’t expect to see an indie show go to Netflix. It’ll be very weird. That’s for sure
Inside job is a fine example on a good potential show getting cancelled by Netflix
One one not it would mean the digital circus would have more funding to make quality episodes and potentially make a series, on the other hand Netflix hasn’t had a good rep given how good shows and movies are often screwed over while keeping second rate (at best) things on
Can only hope Glitch animations is smart about this
Liam said over on Twitter that he's currently on break to recover from all the work from MD, so maybe after he's feeling better we could get something big for the franchise like a comic of some sort.
I consider this a win for glitch and all indie creators like them. Hats off to to glitch, the goats
wait how is there already backlash its not even been a full day yet 😭
Im personally VERY Excited, i dont rlly think MD is being thrown under the bus, TADC is just getting more viewed due to the content farming, but overall I CANT WAIT
This actually makes me sad to hear murder drones was supposed to get more episodes :(
3:12
Okay, no, that is not true.
Murder Drones ended on Liam's own violation.
The show didn't end because they didn't want to work on two shows at once. Glitch is more than capable of running 2 shows at once. With a third series, The Gaslight District, on the way. (Altho yea, we haven't heard anything about that in months)
The show had run its course, and there's really nothing else they could do with the show without retreading the first season. If they left, even a single loose end, it would make everything everyone had done useless. (Which is something i personally hate)
I can't wait to sit down with my parents and watch the masterpiece that the amazing digital circus is, with my parents and see their reaction to it, I personally like the show but it's a shame that my younger sister watches the videos people make on the amazing digital circus that ruins what the show is really about. Glitch will always be a great channel in my opinion.
:}
I’m very proud of Glitch for being able to come this far
Also Doors music
I said it before, I will say it again. I get to recommend this show to friends and family without getting their YT recommendations screwed up with brain rot content farms. The show is great, and nothings wrong with youtube, im just glad to see this show also featured on a streaming platform
No fuck the fan backlash THIS IS GOOD! WE SHOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT THIS! BE HAPPY! PLEASE!
I’m getting so many apologies on Reddit now lol, now they see I was not lying.
I guess MD fans like me will just have to see where everything goes and hope to god MD’s creator changes their mind
that would explain the costumes on Spirit Halloween's website
i think this is the beginning of glitch shows coming to netflix. theyre gonna put more shows like meta runner and their other big shows!! im so excited
i kind of doubt it, other glitch shows are way less popular than tdac, and that’s rlly the only reason why netflix wanted it on their platform
With how unstable RUclips is becoming with ads and recent controversies, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the most popular indie shows would start appearing on other streaming services while remaining mostly indie. (Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some shows were moved to Newgrounds.)
YOUR TELLING ME THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE SEASONS!? 😭😭😭 RIP murder drones, u will be missed 😔✊
ngl they didn't fix the main conflict still a great show
Only because Liam decided there was no topping what they did in season 1.
I noticed that other shows like Interview with the Vampire from AMC and Scavengers Reign from Max are also appearing on Netflix. And now the Amazing Digital Circus is also coming to Netflix. I wonder what will come up next?
Honestly I'm glad TADC is going to be Netflix, but I really wish Murder drones was there tbh
I’m really glad that Digital Circus is coming on Netflix. I also really hope one day GLITCH gets Netflix to put Murder Drones on there.
And also Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise
Yes
Okay the thing is that I think murder drones should have been on Netflix instead since it has already finished while the digital circus is still in production. to me it’s fine either way but it would make more sense for murder drones to come first and, like you said, it currently seems like it was thrown under the bus since tdac came first. But, again, it’s perfectly fine with me either way and of course others have other opinions.
Lol remember Glitch's April fools tweet that Meta Runner was coming to Netflix, now they did It for real lmao
Let Glitch Cook!
That's how Eboy Plays Doorman predicted this Post
*Here's one benefit for murder drones ending: they can focus more on the amazing digital circus = faster episode production and just overall more episodes*
*Murder drones had alot of effort including effects gore spooky scenes just overall so many things, the amazing digital circus has simpler effects and other stuff overall murder drones focuses on serious scenes and some funny scenes to spice it up, and the amazing digital circus focuses on alot of funny scenes and some ofc serious scenes so yeah ofc it is sad that murder drones ended however personally i was starting to get a little bored of it just a tiny bit, so yeah its nice to watch something different, so yeah here's hoping the episodes don't take a eternity to be made, okay I'm done talking now..*
I am very mixed about this decision honestly…
