I've rarely seen Trace Harper participated in many technical sparring sessions . His striking style (Muay Thai based) looks impressive & probably good for making your digital contents. I don't have much experience in MMA/ kickboxing typically so that i would appreciate if your guys can recommend me which fighters style i should follow . Thanks in advance !
Honestly it really depends on what your body and mind are up for. If you are bigger you may want to sit and fight like khalil roundtree. If you are small you'll want to be elusive like Sean O'Malley or max Holloway. Your striking has to be up to par with your defense and vice versa. I would say to study fighters like adesanya, saenchai, and rodtang for striking and for defense follow people like Dustin porier, Dominick Cruz, and mighty mouse. For overall balance study mighty mouse, Jon Jones, anderson silva, and george st. Pierre. They are some of the greatest mma fighters to have ever existed. Best of luck bro!
Anyone else notice their hands are very light? I see no force or weight behind them at all. Even if it's sparring, these punches don't seem meant to be landed
Some of the rounds were definitely lighter as they were tired from the class prior or because they didn't want to land hard on the more inexperienced fighters. Still good work, though, for everyone there. Thanks for supporting🔥🔥🔥
I'm not actually sure if they allow walk-ins. The other comment may be a member but I'm not sure myself. You'd have to talk to one of the Lima brothers or the front desk woman. You could probably DM the gym too and ask them. @att.teamlima on Instagram!
I wish I could find more gyms with the Dutch style out here in GA. I definitely have to venture out overseas to get some of that super high level kickboxing and muay thai work🔥🔥🔥
No, this is more of the amateur sparring that they do on Monday afternoons. The pro fighters spar early in the morning, and there is more technical skill with that sparring.
Two kids in second round cold with it. Got a little bit heated tho haha
Liam stubbed his toe on a kick and took some time to recover so once they got back into the round they got super active lol.
