Lol this is so funny. I had my wedding in my moms backyard and had a friend make my dress for me. Food was potluck style and we only invited family. It blows my mind people actually spend thousands of dollars like this. It's like a public spectacle. Love the satire and your characters.

That's only really specific sections that don't condone marriage. Most follow Paul's letters in the Bible that a pastor needs to be married and have children.
