Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 500 by 2019.
Pokémon Go was released to mixed reviews; critics praised the concept, but criticized technical problems. It was one of the most used and profitable mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide by the end of the year. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.

Don’t be fooled 🙄, Niantic saw how much money we spent on Mega L, and now just want us to spend more with Raquaza 😅🤦♂️, but at least Mega Ray is back 🤩

@ahmadhajmohammed I think so too and even if it's about the money they are a company that's their bottom line. But the fact that they are making up for their mistakes in a way that benefits everyone is always going to be a good thing

@huyiii2435 won't happen. Mobile games only ever get more expensive. I will say this games very reasonably priced compared to other games I've played where 1 skill tree costs you around 1k real world dollars to complete or 2 months of in game time for free.

The Rayquaza day is disguised as a win for the community but in reality it's just "spend more money!" Nowhere does it say we get any more free raid passes. I'll do two, call it quits and then wait until Shadow Lugia.

I'm doing A LOT of raids those 2 days, both remote and in-person. Also, another meteorite is another W. The whole august line up is great for me since I just restarted playing the game earlier this year. I need all the mega energies dropping.
Tbh this should had been the event from the start minus the set times for the raids it should be the normal raid day times but hey big W!

This is the reason I’m excited for Galar Season so they can finally release exciting events again with new spawns. Can’t wait for next year adventure week. 😆
Glad they are offering another free meteorite. I was sad I forgot to redeem the one from last event on my son’s account and I felt bad. Now I get to get one for him so he can finally mega his rayquaza 🎉
And also shadow lugia raid's weekend i think it's very important. Two important raids in a week, mega rayquaza and shadow lugia. Finally niantic does good job

Amazing video Mr. Count, Glad Niantic turned the rayquaza elite raid situation down-side up for remote raiders to get a shot at it! Mid month for PoGo so far
My only question is can you still get a meteorite from a raid reward when raiding mega Rayquaza or was that only a go fest bonus on release? Or did anyone get any meteorites from the elite raid day besides the timed research ?

Cramming a Takeover event into the poor Adventure Week definitely isn't what people want, keeping events like these separate keeps them unique and gives players a much more steady drip of content. Because they're combining the two events, Niantic clearly didn't feel the need to make Adventure Week good. Also, the makeup Ray raid day is actually what the original raid day should have been, so I don't think Niantic should get any props for "correcting" their mistakes here.
I agree with most people that the adventure week that is a pay to win and a huge downgrade however I think that the mega Rayquaza makeup day and the taken over event is enough to save adventure week. I still need more shiny crandios, shiny Anorith, shiny tyrunt, and shiny amarua. I think the boosted spawns of them will help me even for shiny tirtouga. I do wish they included shiny Alolan diglett but I do think that is just me. If not that is fine with me. I look forward to ur next vid count. Adventure week this year is a downgrade and a pay to win however the mega Rayquaza raid day and the part 2 taken over will be W’s for niantic and the Pokémon company. Last make up day I ended up getting a shiny azelf so that will be an epic raid hour for me as of 6:00pm.
I did a whole bunch of mega Rayquaza raids and managed to get 2 shinies!! Although the IV'S aren't that great.. I do have a good rayquaza from the elite raid, and I still have 2 extra meteorite. So my question is if it's worth mega evolving one of the shinies I caught? (PS the best shiny rayquaza IV spread I caught was 13/13/12). Or should I just power up another regular rayquaza with better IVS?
I wouldnt any stock into it. the shadiness of Niantic is unchecked l, and with no transparency.
What I don't understand is why they are correcting their mistakes especially after the whole thing with the terms of service where they pretty much said they don't have to do any of that

I Don't Feel Comfortable Playing Pokemon Go Anymore Because There Crossing To Many Lines With There Player Base I'd Rather The Pokemon Company Come Out With A Improved Version Of The Pokewalker At This Point Because At Least High Tech Pedometer With IR Or Bluetooth Features Won't Say I Can Steal Your Money And Items And You Can't Do Anything About It
