This entire album is simply lightning in a bottle. A work of genius no other band of their generation could have ever matched.

This record absolutely saved my life. I can't even begin to thank these guys enough. Thank you for being with me through the hardest part of my life and taking my mind off of suicide for just the right amount of time.

I don't think they even knew what they had in Sweetness. Of course, it would go on to be their most enduring of hits. Doesn't matter how many times I listen to it, personally, I always want to hear it just one more time.

I going to tell a story I remember when in middle school 6th grade.i was waiting for my dad to get out of work (cannon engineering) and across the street I hear epic noise coming from a studio. this is on clean and chandler in North Hollywood. and I didn't know it then but I sure know now and remember it Clearly,it was this band recording this album.

One of the best songwriters to come along in a long, long time. Personally, I think you should start with Bleed American and then add to that with Chase this light and Futures. Those recording should be in everyone's collection.

Clarity is before this album and every song on it is amazing.

I would have never known who Jimmy eat world was except Tom mentioned them in the urethra chronicles. After that I instantly bought clarity.

Dude. I haven't heard the words "urethra chronicles" in like... decades. Nostalgia hit me hard. Thanks for mentioning that I'm gonna go watch that again.

Cautioners actually sounded more like Ten, from Clarity, in the choruses. Same vibes, almost.

very much disagree on the Sweetness album being better than demo. From the rawness of the sound, Jim's vocals are more high and energetic, that dumb "dink dink dink dink dink" on the piano, things aren't double tracked...

Love the music but my god the mids are so scooped out, even on the re-release. Please, will someone mix the tracking on flat equipment? Pretty please?
