Proof goob shouldnt have to always distract 1.Goob is a Support 2.Distractors are really only needed on a floor with more than 2 mains 3.He litterally needs speed trinkets to distract the twisteds and sometimes goob has extractor trinkets 4.The First 10 Floors are so easy if your using a toon other than shrimpo. so just get better at avoiding twisteds 5.the player could just be an unexperienced distractor

Literally if they need a distractor then why dont they extract. Plus the genre of the game is literally survival so ermm maybe they should learn what surival is and maybe they should learn how to survive , they wouldn't last 2-4 floors without a distractor honestly
Ppl should also appreciate any ‘distractor’ they get tbh, bc they are generously enough to help carry the team and not everyone wants to do that. I think they put in the wiki bc recommended to use for distracting and all.
I play Solos and managed to get to floor 15+ as Connie (which is a Toon with 1 star speed, and considering the fact that Stealth means NOTHING in solos)
@@DaCoolSpider just for your information, stealth does mean something in solos, it lets you go farther into a twisteds line of sight, and when you get too close they chase you

The problem with Goob extracting is that they'll slow down the team.. He's much more valuable distracting! I don't wanna attack you or anything, but sure, Shelly can distract with the right trinkets (specifically dog plush), heck, I even do it sometimes! But Shelly is more valuable on machines. The only time I'd say a Goob main has an excuse for extracting rather than distracting is maybe if they're on one heart or they simply can't distract one of the twisteds. Also, maybe Goob can extract a bit if there's not enough extractors, but even then, there's gonna be that one player that can just take all of the machines themselves. One more thing I'd like to point out is how distractors weren't meant to be a thing.. As true as this may be, distracting is very reliable if you'd like to get machines done faster or simply need to keep other players alive! No distractors aren't required or needed, since I had a full extractor team and got to floor 20 (we eventually died to pebble..) Overall, I'd rather have a distracting Goob rather than an extracting Goob as it'll give an opportunity for everyone to benefit by making progress faster! Teamwork makes the dream work! Now time for my biased point of view. I'm gonna be a little mean here. I hate Goob extracting due to the fact they either grief others or die within a few seconds of playing. Now even if all Goobs aren't like this, they're practically useless if they're not distracting because honestly, nobody ever actually uses Goob to pull people away from danger unless they're distracting. It's just much more efficient for Goob mains to be out in the open and prepared to protect or save teammates! Edit: The amount of errors I made while typing is insane 💀
I hate it when people say "_ you distract" like if they don't want to distract its fine. And plus, while distractors are very helpful, you don't need them if you want to get to floor 20 or something. Like they are helpful for when theres 2 mains or more on a floor but still.
While it isn't fair to HATE people for using extractor Goob or other "distractors" for extraction, it does come from a place of reasonablility. When people see a Goob or Pebble, they think of those toons being distractors due to high speed and low stealth and bad extraction stats (Pebble has average stealth but has an ability that decreases it so that evens out). Because of this, when people see a Goob using exctraction trinkets and not distracting, they would get angry because thats not what they think Goob is for. Also can people stop using the "Qwel never intended to add distracting, they were designed for support" because 1. Distracting IS supporting, as it is leading twisteds away so that other toons can complete machines faster. 2. The people playing were given these toons and found out that some of them can move fast, so they used the speed of those toons to distract. It isn't Qwel who designed the toons to distract, but it's the fanbase who found out that distracting was an easy solution to twisteds. Again, it isn't fair to hate people because they don't want to distract with a character they like just because they're fast. I just want people to know why others hate "distractor" toons extracting.

My friend said “Why did you buy Goob when you dont want to distract?” i meant Goob is litterally so cute and i wanna be an extractor because im not really a distractor person.. I mostly use Goob for distraction because my friend said “He’s suitable for distraction” It doesnt mean hes only for distraction he can also be an extraction, I mostly play duo run with my little sister since she doesn’t judge me being an extractor so. I can only be Goob as a distraction or Backup distraction. :(
its because goob has 4 star speed,stamina and 2 star stealth which is very good for distractor and goob has 3 star skill check and 2 star extracting speed . the more you know

Because no one every explains why they wanna extract, they always say “oh I wanna be fast” which is a reason to distract “I can’t distract well” which doesn’t explain why you used a distractor or “Distracting is boring” but extracting is just walking around the map, finding a machine, staying still and occasionally pressing space or being chased, but when you’re fast you escape easily so it takes the fun out of it. Also, they never say they’re gonna extract until the run began, so you end up with a lot less distractors than you thought and couldn’t be one. Sure, they weren’t made to distract, but it’s the only thing they’re useful for, sure you *could* extract, but it’s significantly worse than all the others and you didn’t need to be distractor to do it, and remember, this is a teamwork game, so they’re literally asking you to do the only thing you can do to help others, or else you’re just a survivalist that literally hurts the other team by making them spend longer on each floor. And you asked Shelly to distract, who doesn’t have enough speed to, so you basically sent her to her death, you have 4 star speed, she has 3. Shelly can’t distract, Goob and Tisha can. And even now you gave no point why you wanted to distract, and you never told them before the round began either, so you just proved my point.
There is no "correct" way to play a toon, every toon can be played for fun as anyway you like and noone should be judged just for playing your favorite character with your favorite playstyle... Btw did you just say that extracting is boring...? Extracting is more fun than distracting, you get to use your abilities way more times then just, running in circles all the time, and extracting is also literally the core of the game, its literally how you play this game, you go to machines, press space bar, get chased, escape, and occasionally use your abilities, THAT is the fun this game offers... About the "The only thing they are useful for", what is even that statement, yes distracting literally removes the challenge of the game and makes it an ichor extraction simulator, but people needs to learn to deal with the twisteds on their own, people should normalize that ALL the toons are extractors... All this thing about the "Distractors", categories, the "meta" of the game, is ruining everyones fun, they brainwash people to make other people adjust to their "meta" to reach high floors, private servers exist for that, its the same reason toonism exist, toon restrictions stuff, its mostly the very reason why people grief sometimes... And again, favorite characters and favorite play styles exist, people play characters in certain ways to have fun, saying that they should use a better toon for what THEY like to play is one of the dumbest things you can ever say...
@ yes, but you need the right trinkets, I forgot what trinkets she has, I don’t think it was shown, but she would need specific trinkets so I doubt she has them, and even if she did you have to sprint save and you can’t distract Toodles or faster, or any mains (except maybe Sprout), so not only will she likely die, she won’t be good at it even if she didn’t die. And I never meant to say she died because she distracted, I meant to say she *would* die. And even if you were right and she actually could distract I’d still be correct since this RUclipsr literally proved me right by not giving reasons to extract as a distractor and not saying before hand. Honesty, i agree Goob's abilty makes him worth it! But pebble? i dunno.. My personal opinion, Pebble isn't a very efficient toon to extract with. Pebble's extraction is 1, His skillcheck being 2-3, and his active abilty 'Bark' is practically a airhorn. He wasn't made for distracting but he was updated to be. Extractor pebbles are- 9/10 ragebaiters (which is fair!) because there are so many actually decent toons you could use for distracting.. Yet, you use pebble? Which is actually the only toon ACTUALLY Made for distracting, we know this because his original ability was swapped out with "Bark" when Qwel noticed toons were using him for distracting. Summary- Pebble isn't good for extracting, so expect some hate when using him for it. But its your game, play it how you want
To be fair I’d also take the “go do machines now” message as aggressive but that’s just how I read things Important to state if you’re mad or not sometimes, some people just take things personally (Btw I am TOTALLY supportive of extractor distractors so long they have decent trinkets and try to save people if needed)
I was being yelled at once cause I was extracting on Pebbles, even though I had one heart because Twisted Cosmo. I stated several times that I'll be happy to give Machines to people if they just ask. But they all just assumed I'd get off of it as soon as I saw them ig, or ask right before I Finish it. The Shelly ended up defending me thankfullt

I hate extractor goobs, like, they're esentially pointless, there's 3 toons with 4 speed, and you must choose the one that has 2 stealth, like, if you want to extract as a 4 speed character atleast don't do it with the one that has the least stealth and the most griefing potential

I joined a run, this one cosmo told me to distract, I didn't respond, floor 1 I did no machines and the cosmo walked past while I was running away from twisteds, one person died that floor. In the elevator Cosmo tells me to contain my twisteds like I did while he was beside me, floor 3 I do a machine infront of him, that became a bunch of leading twisteds but I got the machine done. Cosmo died on floor 4 and I tried to distract floor 5, (someone died to rodger floor 5) I lost 2 hearts, died on idk, floor 7?? Anyway I can't belive people are so bad that they can't survive without a distractor

Now even if all Goobs aren't like this, they're practically useless if they're not distracting because honestly, nobody ever actually uses Goob to pull people away from danger unless they're distracting. It's just much more efficient for Goob mains to be out in the open and prepared to protect or save teammates!

I hate it when people say "_ you distract" like if they don't want to distract its fine. And plus, while distractors are very helpful, you don't need them if you want to get to floor 20 or something. Like they are helpful for when theres 2 mains or more on a floor but still.
While it isn't fair to HATE people for using extractor Goob or other "distractors" for extraction, it does come from a place of reasonablility. When people see a Goob or Pebble, they think of those toons being distractors due to high speed and low stealth and bad extraction stats (Pebble has average stealth but has an ability that decreases it so that evens out). Because of this, when people see a Goob using exctraction trinkets and not distracting, they would get angry because thats not what they think Goob is for.
Also can people stop using the "Qwel never intended to add distracting, they were designed for support" because
1. Distracting IS supporting, as it is leading twisteds away so that other toons can complete machines faster.
2. The people playing were given these toons and found out that some of them can move fast, so they used the speed of those toons to distract. It isn't Qwel who designed the toons to distract, but it's the fanbase who found out that distracting was an easy solution to twisteds.
Again, it isn't fair to hate people because they don't want to distract with a character they like just because they're fast. I just want people to know why others hate "distractor" toons extracting.

Because no one every explains why they wanna extract, they always say “oh I wanna be fast” which is a reason to distract “I can’t distract well” which doesn’t explain why you used a distractor or “Distracting is boring” but extracting is just walking around the map, finding a machine, staying still and occasionally pressing space or being chased, but when you’re fast you escape easily so it takes the fun out of it.
Also, they never say they’re gonna extract until the run began, so you end up with a lot less distractors than you thought and couldn’t be one.
Sure, they weren’t made to distract, but it’s the only thing they’re useful for, sure you *could* extract, but it’s significantly worse than all the others and you didn’t need to be distractor to do it, and remember, this is a teamwork game, so they’re literally asking you to do the only thing you can do to help others, or else you’re just a survivalist that literally hurts the other team by making them spend longer on each floor.
And you asked Shelly to distract, who doesn’t have enough speed to, so you basically sent her to her death, you have 4 star speed, she has 3. Shelly can’t distract, Goob and Tisha can.
And even now you gave no point why you wanted to distract, and you never told them before the round began either, so you just proved my point.

There is no "correct" way to play a toon, every toon can be played for fun as anyway you like and noone should be judged just for playing your favorite character with your favorite playstyle...
Btw did you just say that extracting is boring...? Extracting is more fun than distracting, you get to use your abilities way more times then just, running in circles all the time, and extracting is also literally the core of the game, its literally how you play this game, you go to machines, press space bar, get chased, escape, and occasionally use your abilities, THAT is the fun this game offers...
About the "The only thing they are useful for", what is even that statement, yes distracting literally removes the challenge of the game and makes it an ichor extraction simulator, but people needs to learn to deal with the twisteds on their own, people should normalize that ALL the toons are extractors...
All this thing about the "Distractors", categories, the "meta" of the game, is ruining everyones fun, they brainwash people to make other people adjust to their "meta" to reach high floors, private servers exist for that, its the same reason toonism exist, toon restrictions stuff, its mostly the very reason why people grief sometimes...
And again, favorite characters and favorite play styles exist, people play characters in certain ways to have fun, saying that they should use a better toon for what THEY like to play is one of the dumbest things you can ever say...

@ yes, but you need the right trinkets, I forgot what trinkets she has, I don’t think it was shown, but she would need specific trinkets so I doubt she has them, and even if she did you have to sprint save and you can’t distract Toodles or faster, or any mains (except maybe Sprout), so not only will she likely die, she won’t be good at it even if she didn’t die.

Honesty, i agree Goob's abilty makes him worth it! But pebble? i dunno..
My personal opinion, Pebble isn't a very efficient toon to extract with.
Pebble's extraction is 1, His skillcheck being 2-3, and his active abilty 'Bark' is practically a airhorn. He wasn't made for distracting but he was updated to be. Extractor pebbles are- 9/10 ragebaiters (which is fair!) because there are so many actually decent toons you could use for distracting.. Yet, you use pebble? Which is actually the only toon ACTUALLY Made for distracting, we know this because his original ability was swapped out with "Bark" when Qwel noticed toons were using him for distracting.
Summary-
Pebble isn't good for extracting, so expect some hate when using him for it. But its your game, play it how you want
To be fair I’d also take the “go do machines now” message as aggressive but that’s just how I read things
Important to state if you’re mad or not sometimes, some people just take things personally
(Btw I am TOTALLY supportive of extractor distractors so long they have decent trinkets and try to save people if needed)

I was being yelled at once cause I was extracting on Pebbles, even though I had one heart because Twisted Cosmo.

I joined a run, this one cosmo told me to distract, I didn't respond, floor 1 I did no machines and the cosmo walked past while I was running away from twisteds, one person died that floor. In the elevator Cosmo tells me to contain my twisteds like I did while he was beside me, floor 3 I do a machine infront of him, that became a bunch of leading twisteds but I got the machine done. Cosmo died on floor 4 and I tried to distract floor 5, (someone died to rodger floor 5) I lost 2 hearts, died on idk, floor 7??
Anyway I can't belive people are so bad that they can't survive without a distractor
