Sterilising tablets (for baby bottles etc) are also really good for removing stains, and if you don't want to boil to sterilise, I just got a travel sterilising container and throw in quarter of a tablet and they come out good as new every time 😊
Are there any reviews from women who workout? The auto dump has been intimidating and if there is heavy lifting you put some pressure down there. I normally wear a cup that has been giving me leak issues for years. Maybe I've been wearing the wrong one 🤷♀️. I tried the flex disk for the first time and the auto dump has been messy as I had to wear a liner or pad after first dump due to the walls having some residue. I'm afraid to workout in a disk and it auto dumping while exercising.
personally i use the cora disc and it usually doesnt autodump for me. it definitely hasnt cause any issues in the gym and i honestly feel more secure than with a tampon!
I'm very new to using menstrual discs, and I work as a patient transporter. It's a physical job, pushing and pulling beds and stretchers with patients in them, many of whom weigh 250+ lbs. About 8-10 miles per day of walking. So far, my only issue with leaking comes in at the end of my seven hour shift, and I believe that's probably a factor of my heavy flow. I'm probably just a gal that needs to empty every ~9hrs, because 12 is pushing it. Aside from that, no leaks. I have successfully managed to auto dump on the toilet multiple times, but standing or sitting in a chair it simply does not happen. You might have some trouble if you do any exercises squatting, but only if you also bear down while doing so, in my guesstimation. If you do decide to give a disc a try, Diva's new disc has a shield that's supposed to cut down on autodumping, and certain packs of Flex pads comes with two disposable discs to try. Good luck on your menstrual adventure, sister.
I actually put my disc/cup in a solution of 1:4 peroxide after every period for a couple hours and that keeps it from even ever getting stained and uses way less peroxide!
Flip your disc like how you would wear it with the rim up top and bowl catch down. Make sure the disc is full of peroxide in the catch and covers its rim. Makes it easier.
Genuine question, why do you care if it’s stained? It’s inside your body, nobody but you sees it, do stains matter? Also will the hello disc start shipping to Canada any time soon? I really want to try a disc, I think I’ll like it more than a cup but there aren’t many Canadian options I like.
Unfortunately, the hello disc most likely won't be available in Canada due to Health Canada's strict criteria. We can hope though. I managed to get my hands on the saalt disc by shipping it through a third party courier.
I wore it for the first time in the night as well. It was not successful. Apparently I contract muscles that push it out during the night. This was not a pleasant surprise..
@@katharina1788 it was tucked behind the pubic bone and I pushed it out - 3 times. If it's not the right size, should I size up or down? I'm assuming up?
@@jujubesification So sorry to hear that this happened to you. I am lucky and the Lumma medium and high are working for me. Not sure what to recommend. But maybe you need a smaller disc. What size / which disc are you using now? Did you measure your cervix height. That's important. Measure multiple times during the period as the cervix height varies. And use a pad while you are still figuring things out with the disc. Makes it easier when unexpected things happen! Wish you find soon the perfect solution. For me the disc is really a game changer. Makes my life so much easier.
Should I do a solution of peroxide and water ? I don't want to damage my disc but it's stained after my first use. I meant I don't care that muchh cause it's harmless and the disc itself is perfect but the color is my favorite 🥲
Nope, a straight 3% hydrogen peroxide solution should be fine! Just double check that your disc/cup is safe for peroxide use, either in the instructions or online. Otherwise, you should be good!
super cute baggie for your disc! XD
Obsessed! So cute!

Wearing my hello disc now! First time!

I dont remember if it's from periodnirvana, putacupinit's disc quiz, or both, but they do ask your activity level

I'm about to start my period. Just for you, I'll literally do a work out on my heaviest day and let you know how it goes 😊

@@pitohui1800 please let me know of your experience 🙏🏻
I want that bag for my lily cup, so cute 😍
Enjoy your vacation 🎉
I get the impression that discs and cups are easier than pads or tampons because discs and cups last 12 hours before having to change or clean them.
it’s definitely a lot easier and safer to avoid toxic shock syndrome

AWESOME SHIRT
ill try this on my lumma disc. just purchased a hello disc from a reseller here and i cant wait to use it next period 😊

My Hello disc was the first thing I had ever soaked in peroxide. I was so shocked by how new it looked after a few hours

I’m packing it/flying with it just felt like a good time give it a fresh look. But stains aren’t a big deal.

Can you plz make a black hello cup review video 🥺🥺🙏🏻🙏🏻

It probably wasn't tucked behind the pubic bone. Or you are using a disc in a size that doesn't fit you.

Where did you get that mini Trader Joe’s bag!!
I find that the hello disc is harder to squeeze to put in vs. the flex disc 🤷🏾♀️
Can a hello disc be paired with the salt steamer sanitizer?
If I want to try a hello disc, where do I find one?
I've never tried to remove stains not from my cup and not from my washable pads cause it will get blood all over it again soon
Can u soak reusable pads in peroxide too?
Wait is that a Cadence container? I’ve been thinking about getting one! How do you like it
I have a small set and love them
Cute lizard
So is this a favorite??
So as a cis guy I wanted to ask why it matters if it's stained or not from a hygiene stand Point
