I really like your type set display. Hope to see a more detailed shot of it soon! I was going to suggest getting a Dansco 7070 but what you have there looks great.
What are the best additions to a $500k portfolio to boost performance? S&P 500 is Up and will do better in 2024 I believe as indicators for profits continue to improve, investors like me believe that “Santa has come early” to the markets.
I think you're better off with majority investment in S&P500 and uprising equities cos they always outperform. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on which to acquire
wow massive gains! my partner recently hinted on going same direction.. what did you invest in, and who is your investment advisor please, if you don’t mind me asking? in dire need of asset allocation
In fact, FDR's "confiscation" was a miserable failure because only about 25% of the gold then in circulation ever got turned in. Most people just hid their gold or if they were really wealthy, they shipped it out of the country for deposit in a Swiss bank. Heck, back in those days, some even just put it in the trunk of their car and visited Canada to rent a safe deposit box in a Canadian bank in which to store their gold until Uncle Sam recovered from the shameful sins of their past. Unfortunately for most people, it took 40 years of waiting for the day to come when it was legal for US citizens to own more than $100 in face value of gold once again.
Regarding 15:26, the famous 1933 Gold Double Eagle Coin was auctioned for a gobsmacking $18,872,250 by Sothebys on June 8, 2021. Its previous owner was wealthy shoe designer Stuart Weitzman. Prior to that, the gold coin was owned by King Farouk of Egypt. Two other 1933 Gold Double Eagle Coins are at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. Ten other 1933 Gold Double Eagle Coins were confiscated by the United States Treasury and currently stored in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Now that’s some serious detail on those 33’s. Only one thing I believe isn’t correct. Those 33’s at fort Knox are in the possession of the Clinton crime family who commandeered, a nice way of saying stole, most of the gold during his crime spree, I mean presidency
I have to be honest when Yankee was holding that coin I was almost breathless myself that was pretty special the detail that even came through on the screen was stunning absolutely stunning. Matt you get mega props dude that was like some of the absolute best entertainment drawing somebody and knowing your coins, that was amazing.
I just saw on the RUclips channel, owner “365 days of silver” that the American silver eagles have a microchip in them as does the monster box it comes in. Did you know that?
It's worth the trip! That's a really cool place to go look around in. I've never been anything but pleased with the people and the stuff available to buy. They have everything. Coins, collectable paper currency, rare sports cards/ memorabilia, comics, jewelry, and art. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.
Growing up, I drove all over Houston. Now, I live North, in Spring, Texas. Driving down to the Katy freeway and 610Loop is just not something I wish on anyone. That traffic is unreal. Thanks for the tour of U.S. Coin and Jewelry.
It’s always an adventure driving anywhere in Houston, but driving to where the US Coin store is located is brutal. Just have to get in the spirit of exploring and expect the unexpected. And have full insurance. 😄
I have been saving fiat paper in order to buy a 1 ounce gold coin for $2000 and get a better deal on the premium. I now have $1700 on hand (getting close), but now it"s $2300 an ounce. That's very discouraging. By the way, I do have several tubes of silver 1 ouncer's.
Part ll, sweet! I live in Houston. That is only one of many LCS in the Houston area. Houstonian coin collectors are very lucky to have many choices to purchase great coins and bullion from. Try Royal Coin, Katy Coin, Williams Coin, and also the Gold/Silver shops on westheimer(Houston Coin Buyers-Pete, and Gold and Silver Traders-Jamie). All great places!! Cheers and safe travels Yankee!!
History and old stuff is cool. But, caveat peak usury on that $6 million dollar coin? At what point is it not "money" laundering like hunters paintings?
And ,Yes . This shop is amazing! I've been in Houston about 10 years now, and I had my youngest daughter take me their. I wanted silver + I had to have some gold. 😮 I started my stack with 8 silver Morgan's that were my dad's. I've added much more to that some graded some not. My favorites are the pre-33's I've gotten some $1-2.5-5 and a $10 peace I'd like a $20. Gold eagle. Of the gold, I prefer the pre-33 'S . But I'd like to thank you for allowing your viewers on this trip to a exciting trip. That most people are unable to make. Thank again.
Greysheet bid is half a million, and retail is 600k in MS65. Maybe in an auction with the right buyers (obviously I'm not one) but I just don't see where the price justifies it.
OK, so now imagine that you are a billionaire who loves collecting rare and exotic gold items. Are you gonna let a $1,000,000 price stand between you and collecting Nirvana? Probably not! lol
Yo I love this channel..! I absolutely love this channel..! Thank you Yankee…! Love you guys..! This kid here is just superb. And let’s not forget the old man..! He’s the best…! Please keep making content….!!!!!!!!.👍🏼
Hey my friend, You should cut these videos from Texas soon leave or you never will my friend, LOL Besides Tim is likely missing you I. would bet on that. Great post and thanks a bunch old friend.
I completely agree when prices are sky high like this it is best to get investment graded coins yeah the premiums are higher but if you get it at a decent price compared with PCGS/NGC prices or red book or a bit over grey sheet its worth the purchase. Stackers eventually realize space is limited and it is better to buy numismatics.
As from one from Texas thank you had no idea these guys are around here still like Tim's no taxes situation out side here but thanks dude I can take my kids to a lot better place then will be excited thank you ya Yankee stacker from a Southern stacker 😂 thanks for all your info
Come on yakee you should of got the gold coin lol. What do you think of gold backs are the worth getting? can you do a video on them? I seen a video a guy who use to be on shark tank trying to get the word out on gold backs. anyone doing Canadian gold backs?
Awesome Video Yankee! Last month I finally coaxed my girlfriend into a new lcs that opened up. I told her to pick out something for her birthday as I guided her over towards the Morgan Dollars... NOPE, she went right for the 1929 capped bust quarter... Yikes! She's got good taste...😂😂😂 Love the display you put together for Lil' Stacks!
I really like your type set display. Hope to see a more detailed shot of it soon! I was going to suggest getting a Dansco 7070 but what you have there looks great.
Thanks! The display was a wonderful gift from someone in the community. A handmade custom display with ammo shells as mounts for the coins!
Dansco is archival quality. I'd be afraid of those coins falling off and getting damaged.
The coin that got me started was an 1851 3 cent New Orleans mint. I found it on a dirt road at my hunting camp. Still have it!!
I found one metal detecting in Tensas Parish, LA. Still have it!

ashley airagahi is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up, wrote her explaining my financial market goals and scheduled a call.
APPLE APPLE APPLE
Such wonderful people. Have to go there. Used to live about 30 miles south. Worked for NASA back in the day.
That 1933 coin is one of the few 1933's that FDR wasn't able to steal.
In fact, FDR's "confiscation" was a miserable failure because only about 25% of the gold then in circulation ever got turned in. Yay Part2! My favorite Coin and Bullion shop! I visit Matt and Kenny every paycheck to buy the goods to add to my stack!
LETS GOOO

Along with all that other gold. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Probably not at Ft Knox, but you can check the late Hillary Clinton home
My comment was eliminated by the Gulag platform called RUclips

So they're sitting in fort knox on their own you mean.
Never seen a 1933 gold eagle. Amazing to see. Thank you.
I knew about the 1933 $10 Indian but I've never seen one much less held one. That was a blast to watch. Thanks, Yankee!
I have to be honest when Yankee was holding that coin I was almost breathless myself that was pretty special the detail that even came through on the screen was stunning absolutely stunning. Matt you get mega props dude that was like some of the absolute best entertainment drawing somebody and knowing your coins, that was amazing.
Yankee, Is there any truth to the new Silver Dollars being micro chipped??
For stackers, this video will make you want to explore the numismatic side of collecting. Some beautiful examples here.
I just saw on the RUclips channel, owner “365 days of silver” that the American silver eagles have a microchip in them as does the monster box it comes in. Did you know that?
These are great 3:AM videos. What am I doing awake?!
I’ve never been in that shop but as a longtime stacker and very active hobbyist, I’d love to visit this shop!
It's worth the trip! That's a really cool place to go look around in. I've never been anything but pleased with the people and the stuff available to buy. They have everything. $1,000,000 Coin WOW !!! That was an amazing visit Yankee !
Ive been doing pre 33 since 1984
I must say these 2 videos some of the most interesting informative insightful and down right fun viewing ever no exaggeration
Great Coin store
PCGS has a 1933 ten dollar gold Indian graded MS-66+ = 2 million
Growing up, I drove all over Houston. Now, I live North, in Spring, Texas. Driving down to the Katy freeway and 610Loop is just not something I wish on anyone. That traffic is unreal.
Thanks for the tour of U.S. Coin and Jewelry.
Move out to Cypress--the drive is a bit better. LOL
Ever go to Katy Coins? I have been wanting to go check then out.
It’s always an adventure driving anywhere in Houston, but driving to where the US Coin store is located is brutal. Just have to get in the spirit of exploring and expect the unexpected. And have full insurance. 😄
@@kaceydillin7367 Yes, they're a nice shop. They do charge an upcharge for using credit or debit cards.

If Sid from Toy story was a coin collector 😂
No comment s on the way people look .not nice

What an awesome shop. So great that they followed in their Dad's footsteps. You could spend days in that place!
I cant tell if the dealer is 13 or 47!!!

And there's no green bean, which means that it was never submitted, (doubtful for a coin of that caliber) or it was and got denied.
@@Evom777 if it was CAC approved, then it hits the seven digit mark according to Greysheet.
In Texas we don’t mess around! 😊
Matt would've been the ultimate infomercial dude! I love the way he carefully explains everything, great stuff! And awesome Rolex GMT (^__^)!
It looks to be a pre-ceramic bezel? 🤔
Yo I love this channel..! I absolutely love this channel..!

Once the PM Roller Coaster crashes these COIN SHOPS will CLOSE and head for the Bahamas
Wow! Amazing I still think about when I got handed a kilo of gold... the feeling it gave me was Undescribable!
Meanwhile.....I'm still poor.
But nice coins!
On a side note, he doesn't look old enough to have kids.
how can a gold coin with 5 scratches on the obverse get graded as MS65? i would give that 1933 indian gold $10 a MS64
Who buys collectibles coins. Your better off buying regular Bullion.
That backelite bezel Rolex GMT master is way cooler than any of those coins!!!
If a Wiemar Republic-like event were to happen again, then how would that affect collectible coins?
Fantastic interview! I really enjoyed watching these 2 videos. Some of the coins shown here are beyond words.

I think that 1933 was over graded at a 65, Should have been only a 62 at the max due to the scratches on the cheek.
@YankeeStacking the sound is distorting really bad both on this and last upload, just a heads up :)
There are some more 1933 DE coins , but the US mint are holding them after they took them off someone.
That kid has kids? I thought he was 17 maybe 18. I understand some people have children very young but he said kids not child or kid.
As from one from Texas thank you had no idea these guys are around here still like Tim's no taxes situation out side here but thanks dude I can take my kids to a lot better place then will be excited thank you ya Yankee stacker from a Southern stacker 😂 thanks for all your info
I do really enjoy going to this coinshop on a consistent basis. I was amazed at the 1M gold Indian. It was absolutely beautiful.
1933- US Gold confiscated-act 6102
I was hoping to see a 1987 1oz gold Engelhard in the original soft plastic case.
you can read people over the years, and wow , what a good group of human beings....
Come on yakee you should of got the gold coin lol. What do you think of gold backs are the worth getting? can you do a video on them? I seen a video a guy who use to be on shark tank trying to get the word out on gold backs. anyone doing Canadian gold backs?
All that is okay but I buy only for the metal contents silver and Gold not aged big bucks ones…
Thanks for an very informative and entertaining show. Top notch
Well, you can't refer to that gem of a Indian Head coin as a pre-33 🧐😎
I hope you made it out alive with that 🙏 😇😂
Don't think this next generation is going to be collecting coins because they're all in on cryptocurrency so who knows
I live in Houston. Better believe I'm about to make some new friends.
Nice Rolex on leather. Love the vintage watch on the young man in the video!
Thanks again from Thailand for the grate video and yes I am a Deadhead so we are always Grateful 🙏
