I still can't understand why the lead vocals were so damn quiet and buried in the mix! I enjoyed the song but struggled to hear the vocals! The instrumental sounded fantastic and it's only the vocals that were way too low! Let me know if there's other TOOL songs you'd like me to check out! Thanks #MISTA808
I've uploaded close to 100 reactions to various artist music and it's the only song that I have listened to where I literally could not make out what he was saying.. but fair enough I guess 😂
You should do lyric videos on another of Tool....Maynard is a genius in his writing. His lyrics are deeper than what your hearing. The Pot is always a favorite. You should also know the singer Maynard is in 3 different bands all of which he treats differently Tool Perfect Circle and Pusifer All of which are amazing.
YASSS! Love me some DEFTONES! Sorry about my reaction kind of being dog water in this video.. I legit was struggling to hear his vocals. They got better and louder later in the song.. but the first half of the song I had no clue.. was frustrating.
man, i'm hearing this song with one of the cheapest headphone in global market, a Lenovo Thinkplus TH30 and i can hear 95% of the vocal lines. Maybe you are deaf or you have some weird equalization. Never heard someone be disappointed about production of Tool songs.
That's probably why you can hear it better! Most headphones on the market are not made for mixing and have boosted frequencies. The pair I'm wearing are industry standard Sony MDR 7506s and they have a completely flat response and they do not boost any frequencies. I should bust out a different set of headphones that boosts the 2-4k frequencies on the spectrum. For what it's worth I still enjoyed the song it just seemed like it wasn't the official version and was one a fan uploaded or something..
My friend introduced me to Tool. I absolutely love the guitar sounds and compositions in their songs. The vocals are too soft for me and the songs are too long. But that's just me and my opinion, I like aggressive music with strong, loud voices. My favorite Tool song is The Pot😊

I heard this song a bunch of times and still have no clue what the hell he's saying half the time.... most of the time....
It's funny that you said "cellphone in prison".......
I would react to Pnuema and The Pot next, both by TOOL!
The vocals were buried a bit intentionally.
I can hear it just fine

Tool is the best band there is, still great and put on a fn phenomnl live show❤
Jeffrey's bike being ghost-rode into the back of Cool Guy Steve's car agrees that the vocal audio in this song is absolute dog ass.
😂🤘
You dont have a phone you csn pull up lyrics on? Tools mixing is not an issue
