Cow Moose and Her Young Calf

For today's post I stitched together a series of clips featuring a cow moose and her young calf. You'll notice the calf doesn't stray far from its mom and at one point almost gets stepped on. Cows are very protective and will aggressively defend their young against any perceived threats. During calving season (April to June) pay close attention to your surroundings to avoid any surprise encounters and ensure you are giving females with calves plenty of space.
